Detailed By Design

Horrible communication. Delayed work for months which cost us a lot of money. Brandon and Detailed by Design are not upfront about costs and their ability to complete projects on time. We met with the owner Brandon to address all the issues and finally agreed to a resolution which would have still been a loss to us however he reneged at the last minute and did not pay to replace the old furnace he tried to pass off as new. If you choose to use this business, check all receipts on "new" appliances they say they installed. We reported this business to the Department of Labor because of the shoddy work in installing the furnace and because the furnace was old when we paid for a new furnace. The dept of labor confirmed they were not licensed to install the furnace. We paid for a new furnace ourselves and a licensed contractor to install it. Overall a lot of issues and an absolute nightmare. We are still working on recouping some of our costs from this business.

They were very professional. Tests showed the need to mitigate (results were similar to test results that we had previously gotten). The installation was done in one kind of long day and the system was installed in a way that allowed for future finishing of our basement. The install team worked with care to make it look as good as possible and cleaned up the work area. A post test was conducted (standard for this firm) and showed that the radon was almost totally removed.
