My sellers win because they sell faster and for more more money, I win because there is a paid closing and Mary wins because I will always refer her to my clients.

+ -1 moreThe home got a ton of traffic the first few days on the market -- lots of compliments in particular about how well the home was staged. Several prospective Buyers progressed to second showings almost immediately, and the owner accepted an offer for 98% of the asking price after 9 days on the market.
Description of Work: Mary did a great job working with two clients: myself (I am a Realtor), and the owner of the home I was selling in St. Louis Park's Fern Hill neighborhood this Summer. Mary was instrumental in advising the homeowner about what to paint (and not!); locating furniture and wall hangings to show off each room's best features and maximize the room size; suggesting cost-effective improvements (for example, replacing hardware on older Kitchen cabinets that made a HUGE difererence); and helping select new light fixtures in a couple, high traffic areas (entry, Kitchen again). Mary also helped bring out the potential in an otherwise overlooked upstairs deck, and made skillful use of the client's existing window treatments both to open up a smaller Dining Room, and create some separation between a Living Room and the busy street that it overlooked. Perhaps most importantly, Mary took what had been the home's Achille's Heel -- a dark, dated Kitchen -- and made it look "retro" and significantly larger. Both I (and especially the homeowner) appreciated her making use of the owner's existing possessions, which avoided rental expense. Mary has great style and color sense, and gave clear, straightforward advice about what she was recommending and why. She was great to work with!
