They were on time, very professional and did a great job installing the new Furnace, AC, Humidifier and Thermostat. Their esitmate was right on the money and no surprises, which to me was great as it seems prices always change when the work is done, but not with DDR. Great company, highly recommend

This is the only provider i called where the phone was answered by a real person and not an answering machine. The service technicans were very friendly and reasonably priced. I will use this company again for my home or rental properties.

Our furnace was having some issues starting up so we called DDR and they answered our phone call right away and were here within a day. Dane replaced the control board on our furnace and its been running smoothly for over 4 months now with no problems at all. I am so impressed with how professional, respectful, and affordable they are. We will continue to use DDR for all our of HVAC needs. Something that stood out to my husband and I was how knowledgeable he was and helped us understand what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. Overall our experience with them was outstanding. I would highly recommend them!

+ -1 moreDane was very professional, he purchased all the necessary items that were required for the job. He left the work area clean and removed and disposed of the old items. He showed me how to change the humidifier filter for use. He also did a follow-up phone call to make sure how everything was working properly.
Description of Work: Installed a new humidifier on my furnace and updated the attachments, also replaced a valve on my water heater.

+ -1 moreWe were extremely pleased with Dane at DDR. He was responsive, courteous, professional and very willing to help. We had young children and it was a cold night so we were very relieved that he was able to help us restore our heat late on a Friday evening, especially after having no success with other companies. We would highly recommend DDR to other people and plan to use him again.
Description of Work: On a Friday evening of a holiday weekend we noticed that cool air was coming out of our vents instead of heat. We tried resetting the furnace ourselves, but it didn't work. We called our gas company and searched Angie's List for other contractors, but we were not successful. When we called several other heating companies we only reached answering services who were not able to answer any questions. We were told we would receive a call back with Uptown Heating & Cooling but never received one. One contractor called back, but did not work on our type of furnace. When we reached DDR we were able to speak with the technician directly. He came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to find a solution so we had heat that night. He returned the next morning with the needed part and also performed a safety check.

+ -1 moreWe rent a older home in Northeast Minneapolis, and the furnace, over 60 years old, needed someone to fix the thermostat and examine the furnace for problems. The service provider called to give an arrival time, arrived on time, and worked quickly. The service provider was knowledgeable and thorough. He knew how the furnace worked, understood what needed to be done, and took the time to explain how to handle the new thermostat, how to be safe when things go wrong, and qhat to expect in the future. He was professional.
Description of Work: Our furnace wouldn't shut off. The house was at 90 degrees and rising. The shut off valve was set at 250 degrees. We finaaly turned the gas off to stop the heat.
