My husband had just mobilized to FT. Sill, OK in route to deploy for Iraq. A wind storm came and knocked off some of the siding of our home; I called Dan Bydlon and he said don't worry about it I will send my guy over. Jim came the next day, prompt, friendly, efficient and did a fabulous job. With Dan's support of our family and country he did not charge us anything; that is the type of guy Dan is. Very kind, honest and excellent service.

We were very pleased with the work. We met several times with Jim to talk about shingle styles and color. He was very patient while we made decisions and looked at a lot of samples. Matt and his roofing crew showed up on time and had the job done in a couple of days. We were very impressed with how well they cleaned up after the work was done. Dan was also great to work with, and made sure all our questions were answered. We would definitely recommend them.

I was pleased with how flexible they were in the timing of the job. They installed the roof vents and did some minor repairs first, then we had to wait several weeks for some other work to be done by another contractor before they came back to install the gutters. It all went smoothly, and their representative, Jim Kosloski, was a pleasure to work with and very polite.

We got bids from 4 highly recommended siding companies. Only Craftsmen called back after a week to check on our decision. At that point, we had already decided on Craftsmen as the estimate done by Eric was competitive, and his analysis was friendly and thorough. The workers seemed to really know what they were doing and they labored hard each day from dawn to dusk. Throughout the process, Dan kept us posted on the progress of the project. The only hiccup occurred when the non-Craftsmen Hardie board pre-painters delivered the pre-painted siding without it being adequately dry. To resolve the problem, Craftsmen had the Hardie Board painters redo and redeliver the corrected product prior to installation free of charge. This meant a short delay, which was fine with us. Dan made it up to us by offering to do a few additional small jobs around the house free of charge. This wasn't necessary, but was much appreciated! The siding job looks terrific and we are glad we chose Craftsmen!

As with all contractors we've used, we found Craftsmen on Angie's List. I called and spoke with Jim Kosloski and he was very prompt in getting the estimate to us. When we made the decision to use Craftsmen, Jim met our scheduling demands and work started on time. The crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves - pleasant guys to have around. The work was flawless - cedar shakes take more precision than asphalt and Craftsmen made sure everything was done correctly. These guys did the things they said they would do and did it on schedule.

Craftsmen Home Improvements was the only company we could find that would reroof our house and porch and guarantee the work without also giving us new siding. Our house has asbestos siding, so that would have raised the costs threefold at least. The representative, Jim, was very friendly full of good advice and willing to listen to our comments and answered all our questions. The roofing crew was excellent, cleaned up the yard quickly and thoroughly. The foreman, Matt was also very helpful and able to answer our questions. Only one thing went wrong: the crew re-installed our gutter caps incorrectly. The company which installed the gutters said the caps would have to be replaced for the lifetime warranty to be in effect. At that point I had already paid the full cost of the roof, so I was a little bummed out. But then I got on the phone with Dan from Craftsmen and he was willing to pay for the new gutter caps! Amazing! Great customer service. I would use them again without fail.

Work was started on time and all work was completed within five days. Work crew and supervisors were responsive to any concerns or inquiries. Area was kept clean of all debris at the end of every day. Final cleanup was thorough. Exceptional job. We were very satisfied. Will recommend Craftsmen to all of our friends.

The work was flawless. The windows look amazing. My original interior molding looks great with the new windows and the aluminum wrapping, on the outside looks fantastic. The sliding patio door looks perfect, particularly considering that they had to cut through plaster and cedar shakes, to install not to mention, avoiding my beloved coved ceilings. I chose them based on the warranty for the Gorell windows (50 years) and their own installation warranty. For as long, as I live in the house and then, whoever buys it from me. Only 2 minor details. 1) The window manufacturer took 2 weeks longer, than expected to deliver the windows, but once the windows were in town it went very quickly. 2) I got a new Gorell screen door product, that was not immediately installed. The installer wanted to bring someone else with him to make sure it was done correctly. No big deal, but it did require a call on my part to determine the status (as work seemed complete).

This company is TOTALLY customer service oriented. The vinyl siding team worked every free hour between summer rains and had the siding done in three days. They cleaned up every night. The gutters were installed during the day while I was at work and they custom made leaf covers to fit specific areas. Any small details of concern became totally resolved at the company's expense. From the salesman, to the workers & foreman, to the owner of the company, you could not ask for better service. Calls returned promptly. Highly recommend this company.

From the moment we signed the contract we received a call and a follow-up letter from Dan Bydlon welcoming us to the project and vowing to provide us with the best customer service. He made good on that promise. The team that did the work was led by Matt and they were outstanding. They had to work under extremely difficult conditions given the size of the job, the high pitch and the fact that it was the hottest week of the season. They performed exceptionally well, always friendly, cleaning up impeccably after each day and finishing the job in record time. Dan was an excellent communicator, keeping us informed each and every step of the way and making sure we were satisfied with the outcome. I have never had such a good feeling about an organization as I do Craftsmen Home Improvement. They were truly professional and we received an excellent outcome. Thank you!

We didn't end up using them for the project because they were underbid by the manufacturer's direct sales. However, I found them to be very professional, informative, responsive, and helpful. Eric really knew his product options and was very upfront about detailing the trade offs with each.

The process was very smooth - from the estimate from Eric to the scheduled installation from Dan. Work was done on time and looks good. Old window was completely removed and clean-up afterwards was minimal.

The owner really wants to make sure that they do good for you. I can't remember how many times he called to make sure I was happy. They took great pride in their work, the owner and the workers. The owner really wants to make sure they do good work for you. I was not happy with the painting sub, so he sent another guy and I was happy. I would highly recommend them.

I emailed Dan Bydlin and asked if he could take care of it, even though it was a very small job. As usual, Dan indicated that he would be happy to have that taken care of for us. This is at least the 4th time we have used Craftsmen at our home and once again we are very satisfied with the quality and service they provide. The crew came out and performed the work and left the site as clean as it was before they arrived. The window looks great and I won't have to worry about painting the frame or it not matching the rest of the windows. I wouldn't hesitate to use call them again in the future.

This company is a homeowner's dream. They're a very personable group of people, especially the owner, Dan. We were impressed from the beginning with Jim, the estimator, who was thorough and friendly. His estimate fell in the middle of the bids we got, but we chose Craftsmen because there was no hard sell and Jim had a positive and honest attitude. Matt and the crew were also incredibly friendly and responsive to our questions. It was clear that the crew members were considered a skilled and valued part of the team rather than hired "on the fly" as you sometimes hear about. Through the entire process the company kept us updated on the progress. When a couple of unforeseen things came up, Dan went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and satisfied in all ways. Clean-up was great and the roof looks terrific. This is a company that obviously prides themselves on their reputation for great work and great service. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

I called Craftsmen to explain the situation, and the staff were friendly, professional, and quick in resolving this issue. Craftsmen spoke to the general manager of the heating/cooling company to get a professional assessment of the problem. They then agreed to cover the cost of the repairs. Talk about taking good care of customers, well after the original installation!

I'm writing a report on this company anyway because I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of Jim, the estimator. He was friendly and thorough. I'm glad I had contact with them in this way and would ask them to come back for other home improvements, as needed.

The entire project took a long time but most of it was because I had to delay them for various reasons. They were always totally understanding and worked with me every step of the way. During the siding work, I was totally blown away with the crew they sent. Every night they cleaned up everything. A couple of times I had come home in the afternoon to see how they were doing and the place would be a mess with people everywhere, but every night when I got home it looked like they had just got there and had just begun to set things up (all the debris would be gone with nothing left but scaffolding). We (my wife and I) are so happy with our house now. It's been totally transformed. And Dan and Craftsmen have always bent over backwards with every little issue I've had and they even replaced a piece of concrete (without complaint) they accidentally broke, leaving it in better condition than before they started.
