Work was completed on time and within budget. We were informed of daily process. All workmen were professional, prompt and pleasant.

They did the project in a very quick and efficient manner. There was no mess or any fuss surrounding the project. They did a great job to be careful and respectful of our landscaping around our house. They actually did more than I ever thought they would do. They even weather proofed! I would highly recommend them.

Extremely professional service. The new windows are incredible - we never hear a single airplane passing overhead now. While noise was not the reason we had the windows installed, it's very noticeable that they really drown out the outside noise. We've reduced our heating costs considerably. The old windows were inefficient and drafty. A few of the windows came with screens that were damages during travel, which we were told is very common due to the way the windows are packaged and transported. The broken screens were replaced and installed within a week. Overall, a stellar job. I would use them again.

We have used Craftsmen for four consecutive years now -- three years to replace nearly all of our windows and the fourth year to do the siding, roof and gutters. The biggest job by far. They are punctual, professional, and maintain a clean worksite. Their service is top notch and their quality is very high. They hire some of the best and are certified installers are both the roofing and the Hardi board siding. I always felt as if they were doing everything in their power to make the overall experience exceptional. In my previous review of their performance installing windows, the only thing I gave them a "B" for previously was price as they were one of the more expensive. In this case, although not the least expensive, they were the best overall VALUE by far. Would I use them again? Absolutely!

Craftsmen came out to give an estimate when they said they would. They pointed out a few additional small things that might be nice to do. They left me alone to evaluate others bids and think about what I wanted to do as I requested. When I was ready and called them back they got me scheduled within a few weeks. The crew completed all the work as contracted in a professional manner in about a day and a half. They left the premises clean. Everyone I dealt with at Craftsmen was very professional. They were always responsive to any questions I had. Overall they did a wonderful job for a reasonable price. Everyone at Craftsmen was pleasurable to deal with. I have some projects that will be comming up next year and Craftsmen will be first on the list to call!

Jim and Tome of Craftsman HI were punctual and professional. They worked well as a team and had insightful suggestions for correcting some other problems we had. They completed their work in a timely and tidy fashion. I would recommend both on future jobs.

Great experience! Jim, their estimator, was prompt in arriving at my home and was very informed and helpful in discussing the various options with me. The estimate was provided right away. I ended up with three pretty similar estimates from firms rated highly in Angie's list and think any of them would have done a good job, but ended up selecting Craftsmen. They were patient with me as I decided which shingles to select and their scheduler, Joan, was very communicative when it came time to schedule the work. Matt and his crew did an excellent, careful job, and I'm very pleased with the results. They also did a thorough job in cleaning up when they were done.

Replaced entire roof damaged in the spring...was flooded by several solicitations to repair roof, but went to Angie's list and had Craftsmen quote the job. Got better pricing and a higher quality shingle (two grades better) compared to door-knocking solicitors. Craftsmen was honest, forthright and did a great job on the roof. When I asked if we could increase ventilation around the dormers in the roof (we had been getting icicles /ice dams in the winter), Jim suggested we add ridge vents, easy to do as long as they were on the roof...which they did for a small charge. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and quality of the job..our roof looks clearly better than my neighbors that used the solicitors to replace their roofs with the same quality flat shingles that they had before.

Everthing from the initial evaluation and bid through the job completion went as smooth as could be. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a new roof or any other work that Craftsmen does.They were professional, prompt and exact in everything they provided...I couldn't be happier with the job they did.

I am very happy with the service - not only in terms of quality, but also professionalism. The clean up was great and the actual roofing process was completed much quicker than I expected.

They came when they said they would, completed the project in the time agreed on and cleaned up all materials and extra items quickly and completely. The cost was about 10% less than the other bids I recieved due to the combination discount for all the work I wanted done. Additionally, the large bay window showed a manufactures defect within a couple of weeks and when I called Dan, he had a replacement window made, shipped, and installed within 2 weeks. This was not his fault but he responded to his customers need and made it right as soon as he could and at no cost to me. I will use Craftsman again for any remodeling needs and know that my house is in good hands. These guys are great.

Very professional through bid process all the way through completion of work. The onsite foreman was an excellent communicator and the team was very careful with landscaping. Work was done quickly and it looks very good. There was some damage done to the street with the dumpsters and Craftsman Home Improvement took accountability of it and paid for it without any problems. They stand behind their work and it is great to see how well they respond when everything doesn't go just right. Highly recommend.

Dan and his team has now re-roofed two properties for me. Joan handles all the customer service stuff and follows-up every step of the way, which I appreciate. The guys on site were a team that has been together for years. They were courteous, friendly, very organized, and tidy. Every question was answered and the work was completed in a few days. The best part was that Dan's pricing was very competitive, which is impressive since so many roofers are looking for work. I recommend them to all my friends because twice their service and pricing has been exemplary.

The craftsman came to the house and gave an estimate. We scheduled the installation and he came back and installed the windows. Everything from start to finish was done professionally. I am so impressed.

I'm very satisfied with Craftesmen in all aspects, and would be happy to work with them again. There was an initial consultation at my house with Jim, one of their senior employees, during which he examined the roof and prepared the estimates. He then fully explained what he saw, what was included, the warranty, how the work would be performed, and so on. He also made clear that the initial bid could possibly rise by a maximum of approx. $900.00, depending on the condition of the decking (or whatever the very base layer is called). As it turned out, they did not have to add any of this amount to the original bid. I appreciate the fact that he was very clear about the possibility of these extra costs, even though in the end they were not a factor. Jim didn't put any pressure on me to sign, etc. He also explained that they were scheduling work about three weeks out, which was good to know because it was already mid September. Once I contacted Craftsmen to schedule the work, I provided a 50% deposit. About a week before the work was scheduled, someone from their office (Joanne, I believe) contacted me to confirm a work date with me and to review the details of what to expect, etc. As it turned out, they called me a few days later to see if the crew could come out one day earlier than anticipated, and that worked out fine. Their crew arrived on the scheduled day and wrapped up the entire job in one (long) day. Besides doing an excellent job on the roof, they also took great care to protect the grounds around the house (such as our plants and rear deck); they also "swept" the lawn with magnets to ensure there were no nails or sharp metal objects left behind. Joanne followed up a few days later to make sure everything was fine and to see if I had any questions or concerns. As is probably obvious, I am very satisfied with Craftsmen. They were very clear about what was in their quote; they communicated well throughout; they did exactly what they promised to do, as well as within the timeframe specified; and the price was reasonable. Hopefully I won't need another roof (they do provide a lifetime warranty on labor), but if I ever do, I'd have no hesitation to use them again.

The job started with window replacement which were just the old, original windows. That went well and the windows are great-taking great care in putting a window surrounded by tile in one of the bathrooms. The siding was the cement bound siding which needs to be done just right. Good crew- we went with a color that we chose-it didn't look right and so they had to paint it again but its beautiful!

The three man crew arrived on time and began working immediately. The work was done quickly and professionally. The cleanup was done thoroughly and when the installation was done. I was very happy with the work done.

The entire experience from start to finish was excellent. Everyone from the owner and the technicians to the office coordinator was excellent to work with - pleasant to talk with, professional, and took the time to listen to me and answer my questions. The quality of the work was definitely superior. I highly recommend this company. (I also had them put new siding on my home.)

This was my first experience hiring a roofing contractor. Craftsmen was referred from a friend who was pleased with the service, so I hired the company. The subcontractors were prompt and appeared to be quite thorough. Clean up was also thorough. Jim was very professional and patient, walking me through the process. Jean (the project support person) was also professional and ready to pass along each concern to the appropriate person.

I called and received estimates from 2 other firms before calling Craftsmen. When I did call them on August 31st, I was placed on hold for a very long time and when someone finally answered she disconnected me. I called back and she seemed very amused that she had done that, so I was pretty turned off and told her to forget about having someone give me an estimate. Later that evening the owner - Dan Bydlon called me and I told him about my experience with his answering service. He was very concerned and would bring my concerns to the answering service. However, I decided to give his company a chance and we scheduled a time for his 'flat roof' repair expert to come and give us an estimate on September 7th. Jim was prompt, quick and wrote an estimate that evening which he emailed to me. We also discussed what he thought should also be done on the interior to ensure that the leak problems would be corrected. The only hold up on doing the work turned out to be the wet weather we experienced during the next couple of weeks. Jim and another helper did the job themselves and it went quite well. Jim is thorough, a hard worker, and has a very pleasant personality. The company organized the permit with the city and provided their own extra long ladder for the inspector to use for the before and after inspection. The company also provided a go to office person - Joan Ciesler - who helped coordinate the start job. So after a rocky start, everything worked out to our satisfaction. Of course the real test will be after the winter season!

Job went very well from initial estimate, to actual work and clean up. I was kept informed of the schedule from the initial start to the delays due to weather. Work team did an excellent job . . . I was very pleased with the work. They also did an excellent job of leaving the area clean at the end of each day and, of couse, at the end of the job.

They were on time, did very good carpentry work, explained what they did, treated my house with respect, and exceeded my expectations.

Craftsmen previously worked on my home and did a wonderful job replacing my hail damaged roof and gutters. I called for an estimate thinking this is the company I wanted to do business with. I was even prepared to spend a reasonable amount extra to go with them. When the salesman came for the window consultation things changed. The salesman was on time and pleasant but definitely lost a sale. He had lots of bad things to say about the competition. While Craftsmen advertises working a wide range of windows the only two the salesman thought were worthwhile were Pella wood and Lindsey vinyl. Sorry, but a little rant. Lindsey might be the best vinyl company in the world, but I have never heard of them and why would I buy them just on the salesman's word? Also, some people simply do not like vinyl and would only choose it if inexpensive. The prices on this vinyl left it in competition with both wood and fiberglass products. Also, if the salesman thinks it is so great he better carry a sample with him. Back to my experience. There were other negatives. I was approaching replacing some casements with gliders. He told us it would be difficult to get the energy rebate with gliders and was unfavorable to that idea. He thought full frame replacement was the best option and once again that runs up the cost. Maybe I was not clear with the salesman. I did leave him some room. He ran with it. Full replacement Pella's. By the time he was done we were at $8500 for four openings. That was a project that was not going to happen. We ended up going with another company that was able to do the project for half the cost using Marvin Infinity inserts. Note: Craftsmen carries the Infinity line.

They did a fantastic job, as I expected after reading all their previous rave reviews here. I also got a second quote from a second top rated Angie's list roofer and they were 16% higher than these guys. First class professional workers. The most thorough cleanup I've ever experienced. They swept the driveway with magnets a couple times per day to make sure they didn't cause any flat tires. The roof looked great and the place was immaculate when they left. The building inspector came today and said the work was first rate and passed code requirements with flying colors.
