We are very pleased with the final exterior makeover of our house. We were able to make a few changes and adjustments to the project. Once the material was delivered the actual installation of both siding and stone went quickly and the crews were very professional. We know it all has added great value to our home.

From quote to finish, working with Craftsmen Home Improvements was a fantastic experience. This was my first major house project as a new(ish) homeowner, and I was nervous. I chose Craftsmen because Jim Kosloski was one of the only salesmen I talked with whom I felt was being straight with me, their exceptional labor warranty, and their emphasis on customer service. They were not the cheapest quote, but I figured that working with a company that will make sure the customer is well taken care of and backs its work for a lifetime was worth a little extra. I was not disappointed! Ellie Palmer was my Project Manager and she was incredible. She was in constant communication during the project, making sure I knew what was going on, resolving any issues (ex: the regular supplier was out of the shingle I wanted so she found it somewhere else), and answering all my questions. Her responsiveness was next level. They were spot on with their timing and everything and everyone showed up and left when they were supposed to. Everyone I interacted with from the crews was friendly and helpful. The clean up was great and the results look amazing. Even my neighbors were impressed! There were a couple minor issues along the way, but they were all fixed quickly, with no fuss, and at no extra cost. I couldn’t be happier and, with windows and siding projects in my future, I’m sure I’ll be calling Craftsmen again.

Wow. Could you imagine a professional salesperson showing up on time, with an iPad and collapsible ladder to quote on a roof? Could you imagine having a sales presentation and quote on the iPad in the driveway within minutes of the roof inspection? Could you imagine a dumpster showing up on the morning the project was scheduled and a 12 person crew to follow? Could you imagine 12 hours later the roof was on, the site cleaned up and the dumpster was gone? Well we could not and neither could our neighbor who had a crew working their roof for a week and not feeling so good. Roofing is not easy to schedule and install and Craftsmen exceeded our expectations—and stood much taller in the process than the other 2 companies we engaged with in this process. I now know why they have so many 5 star ratings. They are professional operators at all phases of the process including the follow-up. Yes we were impressed and confident that if we ever have a problem they will be there with the same professional efficiency to take care of us.

I had a great experience with Craftsmen from start to finish. Our sales rep was knowledgeable, friendly and personable. The office staff was responsive, helpful and transparent. The roofing crew was speedy and skilled. The siding team was truly impressive - it SEEMS like simple work but watching their process i could see the intricacy and skill required to get it done right and they excelled. After the project, one minor issue arose and it was solved and handled within hours, not days (which would have still been acceptable). Overall we had a positive experience for a big project and felt we got a good deal on our investment in our home.

Craftsmen replaced our roof and gutters. There was a misunderstanding about what I wanted in the way of ice and water barrier. The company owner, Dan B., contacted me to plan how to make the situation right. Both he and Ellie, his customer service person, were as helpful as could be. In fact, Ellie is the person who guides you through the process of having the work done. She always responded promptly to any emails and has good communication with the company's crews. We got new windows from Craftsmen last year and were very pleased with the whole experience. I would recommend Craftsmen to anyone who cares about the quality of the work and reliability of company.

From the bid process to the installation of a new roof for my home, Craftsmen Home Improvements delivered a professional level experience that was very customer friendly. Jim Kosloski took the time to review installation options and details of the entire bid. Once the job was scheduled Ellie Palmer was assigned as the Project Manager who outlined the work schedule and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. The roofers met the schedule Ellie outlined and were courteous and professional in completing the work. The job site was thoroughly cleaned up after the work was finished and the new roof looks great. Pricing was most competitive while the timing and quality of work performed was excellent. I would highly recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements.

I received a quote from Jim at Craftsmen when I was first thinking of replacing my roof, seven years ago. Other expenses ended up having to come first but I kept Jim's card because I was so impressed with him. It's 2020 and now it's time to replace it - no insurance money, this is out of my own pocket so I had to choose wisely, so I called Jim. I did get other quotes to compare and contrast and others did come in lower, but I went with my gut and it told me to choose Craftsmen. They helped me pick out a color because I know what I like but picking colors is not a skill I possess. I have never replaced a roof before so a perimeter sweep with the foreman prior to replacement would have better set my expectations and Craftsmen graciously took that feedback. I would use them again no question.

Our experience working with the Craftsmen team on our re-roof project was excellent! From the initial estimate to the final review the team was friendly, skilled and committed to clear communication. We were particularly pleased at the care taken to protect our gardens and with the meticulous clean-up when the project was complete. Other bids were lower but having seen and heard of bad results from other companies we would highly recommend Craftsmen.

Everyone at Craftsman that I have interacted with during my roofing project has been great. They have kept me updated regarding the project timeline and their roofing crew did a great job. They also coordinated with an asbestos removal company that I hired to remove an old furnace flue, and Craftsman had someone come out that day to make sure the roof would be water-right after the flue was removed.

A mistake was made and the wrong windows were ordered. It was only discovered after installation was halfway complete. Obviously that wasn't great, but the team took responsibility right away, and clearly talked through all the possible options to remedy the situation. Despite the mistake, we were satisfied with the work and the overall process and would feel comfortable using Craftsmen again.

Craftsman did both our siding & windows. Overall, very very happy with the end result. It looks stunning. The staff & crew were professional & thorough. We especially liked Erik -- who really sold us on the project and made sure we got everything we were hoping for. Some hiccups that could have been improved along the lines of communication, COVID-19 precautions, clean up, and general carefulness (while removing our siding they accidentally damaged our neighbor's siding), but they handled and resolved all of these things respectfully, and professionally. Overall -- would recommend!

Great prices and great customer service! Craftsmen Home Improvements replaced the roof on our house, as well as on our shed. They also put on gutter covers. Jim and Ellie were an absolute pleasure to work with. They responded to any questions we had immediately. They were always extremely professional and operated with the highest levels of integrity. Both crews were very fast and hard working. We would give them our highest recommendation!

Starting with the bid process, the whole job went great! Erik our sales contact spent the time needed to answer all of our questions. He was helpful in leading us through the various windows and options, etc. He also followed up with us as he said he would. Tom and Jim, the install leads were very communicative and responsive. The whole install team of Tom, Jim, Tyler, Tim, Jake, and Graydon were knowledgeable, meticulous, hard working, timely, experienced, and cleaned up the job site every day. They had some very hard corner areas, and a gas line to work around, which they handled with finesse. We also enjoyed working with the project manager, Kim, who was very knowledgeable, responsive, and nice! We are planning to have them do additional work in the future. Our bid was similar to another we obtained.

It was great working with Matt and his crew on our roof/gutter job. The roof and gutters look great. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up around the house. We will definitely pass your name along when the opportunity presents itself.

We contracted with Craftsmen Home Improvements for a complete re-siding of our house and detached garage, including soffits, fascia and gutters. Our experience was excellent from the initial bid through the job acceptance and completion of the work. The staff and crew were knowledgeable, helpful and informative. Our house is nearly 40 years old but looks new again. We would highly recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements.

We had Craftsmen put up gutters on our house and they look great. There were a couple of hitches - the original drawing specified 5' of downspout away from the house, but the driveway is right next to the house which put it halfway across the driveway. They worked with us, putting a hinge on the downspout so that we can raise and lower them as needed. The person putting up the gutters (Tony) made sure to ask questions, e.g. whether it was OK to route some of it a different way than the drawing, and listened to the answer. He was calm, respectful, and patient with my cantankerous neighbor who was upset that the gutters were going near the property line (there is not much room on either side of my house) and helped us come to an arrangement that worked for everyone. Being a general contractor, he also took the time to look at some other items on my house and gave me his professional opinion. In addition to the gutters, we also had Craftsmen put on a new roof and siding, and overall they've been a wonderful company to work with.

I am very pleased with the work Craftsmen Home Improvement did for me in replacing my shingles. From beginning to end each person I dealt with was personable and professional. Their bid was affordable and their assessment of my needs expert. In addition to the main roof I had two small flat porch roofs that were leaking and they provided the extra care and professional attention needed to solve the leaks and re-roof those areas. Some materials had to be special ordered. I had a project manager who was with me each step of the way keeping me informed regarding each aspect of the work. I really could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this company.

Recently we had a great experience with Craftsmen Home Improvements on replacing our roof (job done on 7/29/2020). The sales rep Chase was very professional and responsible, came in person twice to answer our questions and concerns. The project manager Ellie was also great about keeping us posted regarding the time of the project and very pleasant communications. Working with Craftsmen Home Improvements was a terrific experience from start to finish. I was impressed in my very first meeting with Jim with the level of professionalism and the attention to all of the important details of a roofing project. From there on out, Jim and Ellie were great about keeping me posted regarding timing of the project; they also were very gracious about accommodating various scheduling constraints that I had. My 25+ year old roof needed replacement and the project went very well from beginning to end! The estimate was accurate with no surprises, and he showed respect for my questions and requests. The price was very competitive. The Scheduler as very helpful and answered all my questions as they came up. The crew was professional and courteous, they performed the work safely and with skill, and they finished in 2 1/2 days. They cleaned up completely afterward, leaving no debris in my yard. The Equipter machine protected my extensive gardens without any damage to my plants and left no nails in the soil! A couple of my neighbors asked for the company's contact information after they saw the quality of the work. I would recommend Craftsman highly. I am very pleased with the look of my roof.

We had a great experience on our roof project with Craftsmen. The communication was professional and timely. The workers were super polite and worked from sunrise to past sunset to finish the bulk of the job in a single day. We had a slight complication with a part of our roof that required special attention. Craftsmen followed through and handled that part of the project efficiently. The clean up was great and fast. All in all, this seemed to be a company committed to excellent customer service and high quality work.

This outfit is pretty sharp. First, we learned about C-H-I from Twin Cities Consumer Checkbook which gave them 100% quality rating with 67 reviews. We had a sliding deck door where the frame was broken and we knew we needed to replace it. We had builders grade vinyl windows in our 17 year old home and hated them because they were so drafty. Several windows had seals fail, another had hardware fail and two windows the blinds moved when the wind blew in the winter. It was time to replace a bunch of them and we opted to do all of them. We had seen countless ads for major window manufacturers from the Upper Midwest and were stumped on trying to select a brand. In our research, we found some advice that suggested rather than decide what brand windows to install, first decide who is going to do the installation. A good installer can make a mediocre window pretty good. A bad installation can make a really good window not so good. So, we started researching installers. Craftsmen Home Improvement was all A's across the board and installs all those major brands we had read about so we decided let the pro's suggest which way to go. The sales guy showed up and told us the most bang for our buck would be Richlin Windows made by the Hayfield Window Company in Hayfield Minnesota. It's an upper echelon vinyl window that worked best for our situation. No pressure at all. There was about 5 weeks lag time from signing the contract to work beginning. We had been told it would be 4 guys working 3 days. Instead it was 2 guys and 6 days but we were OK with that. Our sales person said we'd be able to keep our blinds (we hadn't even thought of that) but after the windows were installed, some of the blinds no longer fit. No problem. The blinds were trimmed and modified by the installers and we are looking good. The windows are guaranteed for life and the installation has the same guarantee. In fact, whenever we sell the place, the guarantees cover the next buyer's lifetime, as well. This review is written in July so we haven't been through a winter with the windows and new doors yet. We can tell you the windows are WAY quieter than the originals. Finally, the installers are people you'd want in your home. Quiet, fast, efficient, friendly and constantly cleaned up the house after each day. You could tell they cared about the job they were doing.

The entire process went well and only took 1 day to install the window. We had used Craftsman for 4 other windows and 2 patio doors a couple years ago and everything went well, so we went back for the final window in the house.

Craftsmen replaced our roof in record time. Our neighbors all commented they couldn't believe how fast it all went and also how thorough of a clean up job the team did. The team was very polite and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. The foreman did a full check on workmanship and made sure we were completely happy before he left. We would use Craftsmen again!
