They were fantastic. Communicated very well through the process, and accommodated our schedule which was driven by a desire to get the home on the market for sale by mid-spring. I could not be more thrilled with how they handled communication, scheduled the work, conducted the work in a quality manner. It looks fantastic. They even came out a few weeks later to clean up the yard after all of the snow melted to make sure it was really clean. First class operation. I would highly recommend them.

A link on the Angie's list website was not working correctly so the company did not get my initial requests. The owner of the company called me when he realized that I had been trying to contact them and was exceptionally professional. No work was done, as I had already selected another contractor before I was able to connect with this company. I would not hesitate to use them for future work.

It went great. Craftsman Home Improvements installed all new windows and vinyl siding 10 years ago. Recent wind caused three edge pieces of siding to pull away from the house. Dan had an installer at my house within an hour of when I called. The siding was repaired quickly and under the terms of its life time warranty at no charge.

Upon visiting and inspecting the house, vendor determined that considerable insulation already existed and additional was optional but not necessary.

First of all, when I spent over $50k I have a hard time saying "A" on price, but we had received one other estimate and I did alot of research on what to expect for cost, and we had a couple of surprises (current shingles laid on top of styrofoam insulation rather than the roof decking, not enough support above a picture window, rotted chimney framing), and they were comparable and in line with what we expected. I learned that I should always plan for an extra 10% however for any home improvement project because you never know what you will find when you tear things off. Craftsmen was great to work with, from the initial estimate, to the planning, to the scheduling, to the ongoing communication, to the crew, to the finished product, they made it easy and our house looks great! We did windows, roofing and siding, and they had experts for every phase (who clearly had worked for them forever and weren't just random 3rd party contractors). Their communication, responsiveness and follow up were top notch, and that is important to me. One of the above and beyond things we experienced was that we wanted to have our garage redone as well so that we could side and roof a new garage, and we wanted to do everything at once. Our sales guy (Erik) got us in touch with Jay Aos who he had previously worked with at AOS Construction (whom you will see a great review for as well), who could do that piece of the project, and they communicated with each other to plan out all the timing and made it so easy. I was a little apprehensive about this whole process, we have never done a remodel before, and it turned out great and I would highly recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements to anyone!

Great crew, efficient, no mess, and with cool spring weather we already can tell a difference in the indoor comfort of the home. We have had several interactions with contractors across the spectrum from great to really terrible. Craftsmen Home Improvement is probably at the very top of our list: great communication, prompt, thorough, careful and they made appropriate and realistic recommendations to improve our energy efficiency. We are confident that we will not be seeing gigantic ice dams in the winters to come.

This turned out awesome! There about four technicians that came out and they were all awesome. The office staff was great as well!

They called me to let me know that the entire insulation job usually costs about $2,500-$5,000 which wasn’t clear in the big deal. He was very honest and asked if it is something I would still be interested in. I told him no and he refunded my money quickly.

Went well overall. Crew was open and forthcoming about progress as was site manager. Yard was a little worse for wear at end of process with some plants damaged but nothing excessive. Now several months later all seems quite satisfactory.

A large piece of siding was damaged and tore off of our home on a very windy day in February, 2014. We contacted Craftsmen Home Improvements because they were the company we used to replace the siding a few years ago. I got a reply to my email request within just a few hours of letting them know of our situation. As soon as they were able, they dispatched a repairman to my home to complete the work. They gave me about two hours notice the morning he was coming so that I knew that he would be on site. The prior work we did with Craftsmen was fantastic. We have use them for siding, windows, gutters, and a new roof as well. Their management team is a joy to work with and all of the crews that have performed the jobs have been very professional and they've done a great job. I highly recommend their services!

They were great. Prompt, communicative, great customer service, great quality of work, and attention to detail. I would definitely work with this company again.

Most of the work was performed by Jim and Tom. They were professional friendly throughout the entire processes. Our home is older (1931) and the interior trim is unique. Jim and Tom removed our old windows down to the rough openings and installed new ones (some casement and some double-hung). They worked carefully and left things clean at the end of each day. They did a great job matching the woodwork and we are thrilled with the results. They did some work in January when weather allowed and ensured that everything on the exterior was weather-proof. There is still some exterior trim that needs to be completed but I have every confidence that will happen as weather allows. We are looking forward to having them back to replace some more windows as our budget allows. They are not cheap, but their work is top-notch and I feel like its a fair price for the quality.

They had a good service. The price was just as good as anybody else.

When Jim did the estimate, he informed me about the rebate offered by the gas company and about how I would need an energy audit beforehand to be eligible, which I appreciated because it saved me money for the total cost of the job. Craftsmen was able to schedule the work very quickly as the crew had availability sooner than expected. The crew was professional and left the work area clean. Joan provided the rebate form for me promptly after the work was done so I could complete and submit it. I had work done by Craftsmen on my previous house and I have always felt they are responsive, professional, and produce quality work--this time was no different.

It was marvelous. He was a wonderful guy. He was very professional. The estimate was fine. It seems to be legit and upfront. It looked reasonable for what he was telling me what he was going to do. It was great. He knew what he was doing. They were on time and showed up when they were supposed to. They called to make sure I was home. They were just a very professional organization seems to me.

To charge almost double what you competition charges doesn't seem reasonable.

They were just great. It has saved me. The added insulation in my attic helps the heat from escaping my home and reducing the ice build up. They are good people.

We didn't use them because we were having medical problems at that time. They were professional and on time. The price was fair.

As usual, Jim and Joan did a great job in being responsive to our needs - from coming out right away to scheduling the actual work. Our upstairs bathroom tub pipes that have been freezing at least once for the last three years. IThis year we decided to break that dumb cycle. Jim did a superb job in assessing what needed to be done -- showing us the problem via his infrared camera. He used several types of insulation to address the problem and totally exceeded our expectations. This winter it's been soooo cold and the pipes haven't frozen once. Prior to the work, we would have had several problem days. The tub also stays warmer -- the water doesn't cool off as quickly. We could not be happier with the work. Absolutely will use these folks again. High quality for the money.

Craftsmen did a wonderful job. From the first contact where they contacted us to set up a time for Jim to come and evaluate the situation all the way through the day the crew came and introduced each of them to my wife and me. Matt and the crew worked quickly and kept the house throughout the process. They let us know what they were doing and how long everything would take. They were very respectful of our house and property and left us with a very good feeling about the job and the company. o increase

I would give an excellent recommendation for them. They were right on top of everything from the first time that we contacted them. They came to the house, they looking at everything, they gave us an estimate which we agreed to, and the service was performed within days. The crew was extremely professional, and super clean. There were some strange areas in the attic, and they came up with ideas which we hadn't thought about, and it was wonderful. I can't say enough good about them.

They came out for the initial estimate and quoted me over $2500.00 for the full service. I have decided to get the Big Deal refunded through Angie's List as I do not want to spend that much for the insulation service.

Jim arrived on time and was extremely polite as well as knowledgeable about his craft. He inspected the home and determined that our house already had adequate insulation so adding additional materials would not provide much return on investment. He was very honest about suggesting things we could do if we so desired. Because Jim was so trustworthy I decided to ask him what other services they offer and so Jim is working on quote to replace an old window we have. He explained the options I have at different cost levels and so I look forward to having him back to complete the work.
