I was very happy with their work.Everything was done in a timely manner. Jim Kosloski, the sales rep, showed up on time. He covered every aspect of the job. We signed the contract, got an expected completion date, depending on weather, and waited for that day. Maria, in the office, called us and said the crew would be out the next day,(our expected completion day). The crew was timely, did a wonderful job, and their clean up was the best! I can't say enough about Jim, Maria, and their crew. Top noutch.

Completed project on time. Staff were very professional and skilled in their craft. The on-site supervisors were always available to answer questions and offer suggestions. The work crew arrived on time daily and cleaned up at the end of the day. The new siding looks great. I would recommend this company to friends and others looking for a vendor that does great work.

We had our roof replaced by Craftsmen, and we are very pleased our experience. Everything from the work that was done to the communication was top notch. Jim came out for the initial estimate and was very helpful and genuine. Once the work was confirmed, Maria was great with maintaining communication with us leading up to the actual job. Good company to work with. Salesman was excellent and was the only one of the four bids we received to correctly identify an underlying roof joist issue that Craftsmen then repaired professionally and at a reasonable price. Roofing crew was professional, on time, and cleaned up well. They did a good job of protecting our plants and patio furniture. We have no problems or issues with this roof tear-off, joist repair and roof replacement project. Questions to both the office and the salesman (Jim) were answered promptly. We would give this company an "A" rating for its performance and value.

Craftsmen comes with my highest recommendation. The various teams were all pro; great to work with and the results were outstanding. The team applied creativity to the most challenging problems and stood behind their work communicating the options and their reasoning every step of the way.

We made the decision to use Craftsman for our windows and siding over three other bids we obtained from other companies. What drew us to them was past reviews and the reputation that they had for their workmanship and attention t detail. Their pricing was very competitive and now that we can see the finished project it was well worth choosing them over the less expensive competition. Our first contact was with Erik and he was very up front and great at explaining the process, products and pricing. We didn't make many changes but when we had questions he was quick to answer. The only issue I had during this whole project was with a kitchen window that I asked be a "picture" window and ended up being a casement because of size requirements. I was never informed of the change until the window was delivered and set to be installed the next day. An explanation before the fact would have been nice. We had two crews work on our home. I was so impressed with their professionalism, punctuality, ability and communication. This was the biggest difference from the contractors we had worked with in the past. These guys are what separated this company from others and this is why your choose Craftsman to work on your home. The other thing that sets them apart is the constant communication that they have. The worst part of a project is not being kept in the loop and that was not an issue with this company. The one other thing I wanted to mention is that I can't even tell they were there. They clean up after themselves every day and now that the project is complete I can't even tell that they were there which is important to me because I have small children so picking up all of the "scraps" around the home is a big deal. I would recommend them to everyone and say that they will cost slightly more than some of their competitors but in the end it is very much worth the extra money to have the job done this well. This review was written before we got the final bill or any inspections completed so those are the only two variables that we still have to deal with but I am not to worried about either of them.

CHI provided great service! Their advice on how to deal with the problem of a sagging overhang on my 100 year old house proved to be really spot on - it really improved the appearance and we didn't have to totally rebuild, so saved a ton of money! Their staff was exceptional, starting all the way from the estimating process, through to site clean up when they were finished, and closing off paperwork with the office! I would recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements to anybody - I am really pleased!

Craftsman Home Improvement recently replaced the roof on our home. We were very satisfied with Craftsman from providing the estimate to the clean up after the roof was installed. The re-siding project was initiated with Jim at Craftsmen who came out to the house, took measurements and left plenty of siding samples for me to choose from. He was always available to answer my questions and provide helpful advice. Joni kept me informed about when the project would start. The men arrived on time and all went smoothly. I really appreciate the skill and attention to detail that the re-siding of my house received at the hands of the Craftsmen Workers. The house looks beautiful and all of the electrical outlets, faucets, etc. have been replaced and artfully finished. The men were respectful, hard working, and efficient. The area around the house was left in good order when the job was finished. I will heartily recommend Craftsmen to anyone who 'needs siding.

Working with Craftsmen Home Improvements has been a pleasure, starting with the quoting process right through installation. They were very competitive on pricing. The quality of the installation was excellent. The people were all professional and demonstrated strong customer service throughout. We have worked with our share of challenging contractors and our experience with Craftsmen has been excellent. Overall, we are very pleased with how our siding project turned out. Kim got us started with suggesting color schemes and designs. She also helped us along the way as we fine-tuned the design based on many computer generated renderings provided by Joni. Being able to see these renderings with several different options for siding and trim colors definitely made it easier to arrive at a design that we liked and were sure of. In addition, Joni was very understanding and did her best to accommodate our time schedule. The work crew, led by Pat and Beto, did a very neat, clean, and professional installation of the siding. They all worked very hard from dawn to dusk, every day, and cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. They completed the project earlier than expected. By using extra-long siding panels, there are no seams in the siding and it looks amazing! The house looks just like the final design rendering that we decided on. Throughout the process, everyone, especially Dan, the company?s owner, had the goal of providing 100% customer satisfaction, always wanting to resolve any issues to our satisfaction. We have been told that this same policy applies even if problems develop in the future. On the other hand, one issue we did run into was that it was sometimes difficult to reach people by phone during regular business hours, with a question about the project (call went to voice mail or answering service).

Craftsmen provided a timely, thorough estimate and addressed all of the questions we had before agreeing to move forward with the replacement of our home and garage roofs, and re-siding on the garage. Weather made scheduling difficult, but we were kept well-updated leading up to the day of the installation. On the morning the roof installation was to begin, there was a threat of weather and the crew was amenable to completing only the garage, which they knew they could accomplish before things got wet again. When the weather cleared, the roof installation went very smoothly. The crew had only a minor amount of work left, and returned on a Saturday to complete the job. The yard was clean and the landscaping was left largely undamaged throughout the project. The garage was re-sided the following week. The morning work was to begin, we spoke with the foreman who told us the quote had not included door/window trim, as we'd expected and hoped. They were able to quickly adapt and the work was done at cost due to the confusion. The siding, along with some minor carpentry repair work, looked clean and professional. We were very pleased again with the clean-up and respect for the landscaping (a challenge being so close to the garage). A third crew returned shortly after to install the gutters on the garage. Work was done as expected on one side, but there was another mix-up on the downspout replacement on the south side of the garage. We immediately raised this issue and were contacted within a day with a promise to repair the work. Craftsmen also offered us $100 gift card to a garden center after it was pointed out that the gutter crews had not been as sensitive to our landscaping as the previous workers. Overall, a very cost-competitive and fair bid, quality work and responsive service. We would recommend working with Craftsmen, with an understanding that there is a need to be both vocal and detailed about your expectations.

Craftsmen Home Improvements did a great job on our new roof. They explained everything in detail before they started and followed that plan completely. From notifying us of start date to final correspondence. The crew was wonderful, worked quickly and efficiently and got the job done beautifully. We are very satisfied with our new siding/soffit/gutters. Prior to starting the job the people at Craftsmen were in touch with us several times to finalize decisions and make sure everything was lined up before the work began. The material showed up right on time and the crew did a great job. There were a couple of details that I asked to be changed or fixed and they got it done right away. Good experience from start to finish.

Jim did a great job finding the Windows we needed for our home. He presented many options for us to choose from. They let us know when our installation was to start and were actually able to start sooner than expected. All of the workers were courteous and professional. They continuously cleaned up after themselves as the day progressed. They were organized and worked well in teams. They completed the project ahead of schedule also, and completed the work in one long day instead of three.

The whole operation is great. Erik did a nice job of explaining our options and was very responsive to follow up questions. Kim and the office crew was responsive and provided timely information regardless the status of the windows and when the install would occur. Windows were installed on time. Tom, Jim and Tyler were all very professional. They cleaned up after each day they were in our home. Windows are no small investment so it refreshing to deal with a business that treats you like customers should be treated. We definitely recommend Craftsmen for your window needs.

You hardly would have known they had been there. I trusted Craftsmen to do the job right, and they did! We couldn't be more pleased! My experience with Craftsmen Home Improvements was excellent from start to finish. I really appreciated, Maria, the project coordinator. We had constant communication, which was very helpful because I had so many questions being that this was my first time having a roof job performed. The crew was awesome as well. The lead roofer, Elmer, was a very kind and so was the whole crew. The roof looks great! They were also very nice to let me throw a bit of my own construction debris into the dumpster - I saw on some quotes with other roofers that they don't allow that. I really believe that I got one of the best roofing companies and I'd recommend them to anybody. My selection process: I received a few quotes from roofers and Craftsman was right in the middle. Craftsman offered a lifetime warranty on WORKMANSHIP. None of the other roofers had that offer. So when you factor that in, I think they were the best value. In addition, they had great reviews on Angie’s list, so I felt comfortable selecting them and I’m glad I did.

I am pleased with the attention Erik gave my home on the initial quote. Your supervisor and foreman were communicating all along the way which made me feel confidant in the work. I am very pleased with the results and the overall price of the roof shingle work. Erik and I will talk about other work in the future.

He helped us to choose our shingles and also gave us details about the company, products, and staff that would be working with us through the roofing process. Our second contact was Maria and she was very helpful in providing information about when the roofing crew would arrive. Maria also kept us informed as to the local roofing inspector who would complete the final step of approving the roof replacement. When the roofing crew and supervisors arrived to work on our roof, they answered all our questions and completed the work in one day. They cleaned up all debris from the job leaving us with a beautiful new roof. Craftsmen Home Improvements, Inc. provides quality service through their employees. The salesman, office staff, as well as roofing crew, and supervisors, are experts in what they do. We are very happy with the quality of their work and highly recommend them to everyone we know.

In today's environment of roof repair 'storm chasers' - finding a trusted, high integrity repair and remodel company to me is utmost important. While due to the project complexity and the many back and forth with the insurance company, the project took much longer than expected. However, I strongly recommend them - as they continued to stand behind their work and words. A truly high integrity company that is proud of their work. A great builder/remodeler in my opinion is not the cheapest or fastest. But, when things go wrong (as they always do in larger complex projects), how well does the company stand behind their work and their commitments. We had our repair issues - but they came back in some cases multiple times to make sure the work was done right. So, while, they have not been the least expensive on bids we received - we have chosen them multiple times due to our experience with their quality of work and integrity of company and this is a positive reflection of their owner Dan Bydlon and the type of team he has also.

We were very happy with the team at Craftsmen Home Improvements from start to finish. The sales person was knowledgeable about the various window products and replacement installation options. CHI offered a number of quality products at competitive prices. The sales person also had some good suggestions for changing the configuration of certain windows. We were replacing almost all the windows and doors in our house, and they sent a large installation team that did a great job and finished ahead of schedule. They worked with us on a couple of special requests during installation, and made sure we were happy with the results. I highly recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements.

They are not a high pressure company and took the time to make sure that the project went well from beginning to end. All staff from sales, office and crew were professional and great to work with. Very neat and organized, debris was cleaned up as the work was being done. Very efficient crew that worked very well together, our project was completed under the scheduled time line. We are extremely happy that we found Craftsman Home Improvements!

When I needed a new roof for my house, I decided to contact Craftsmen after reading positive reviews of the company. I'm adding my own strong recommendation to many others. Everyone on the Craftsmen team did an outstanding job, from scheduling and estimating through final cleanup. The crew did beautiful work and took great care to clean up my yard. The CEO even stepped in as a contact person for me when the scheduler was on vacation and that impressed me. I'm very pleased with my new roof and can't recommend this company highly enough. I'll definitely contact Craftsmen again for future projects. An A-plus to everyone there.
