I couldn't be more happy with Jim, Tom and the rest of the window installation crew. The quality of the work is excellent. Many times I heard them saying things like, "It's not quite perfect, let me tweak it a bit." Watching them work, I could tell they were perfectionists. Always reaching for a level or getting real close to see that whatever they were working on was done just right. At the end of each day, they cleaned up everything and returned the next morning at the exact same time. I'm attaching a couple pictures, the patio door used to be a window! They made it look like that door was original to the house. I'd also like to highlight the sales process. Erik was very helpful in explaining all my options and offering advice based on what he's seen others do. I'm very happy with the work they did and highly recommend Craftsman Home Improvements.

The Craftsmen Home Improvements siding crew just finished installing James Hardie siding on our home yesterday. Pat and Beto and his crew did an amazing job. The workmanship was excellent and the whole crew was very respectful, helpful and hard working. They paid very close attention to detail and took care of many items that we did not expect them to address. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Craftsmen to others. I will mention that I tend to be very careful when I hire anyone to work on my home, but we felt very comfortable with the siding crew after we saw the attention to detail and quality of work they were doing. This put us very much at ease. As part of this project, we also needed to have some structural repair work done inside one of the exterior walls. The carpentry crew also did an excellent job. Erik was the sales rep, but he also continued to provide excellent help and assistance after the sale was final. Once again, the attention to detail, the patience they showed in listening to us and the strong work ethic to do the right thing was very refreshing and greatly appreciated. All of these workers together provide a strong testimony to others that Craftsmen Home Improvements really cares about their customers and the quality of the work that they do. Once again, we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I really appreciated Jim who was very thorough and up front about the work and costs involved in replacing our roof. The work was excellent, timely, and professional. The crew was very courteous and went out of their way to not leave any mess in our yard. They communicated to us the status and how things were coming along. What was striking for me was the realistic assessments I was given both from Jim and the crew in terms of amount of work involved, the timeline (the weather forced the crew to cease working). Overall, I'm more than satisfied and would be more than happy to refer Craftsmen Home Improvements to my friends. Thank you!!!

Very well. Plenty of challenges and unknowns with this project, but they handled them all quite effectively. End result was quite attractive.

It went well, though the weather did cause a delay in the completion of the job on the exterior, as caulk could not be applied in extremely cold temperatures. The job was professionally done with all of my concerns addressed. They made sure that I was happy with the results before they would consider the job complete.

The work Craftsmen provided was of the highest quality. Our job included new siding for our entire home, gutters, sofits, and an upcoming new roof. Every step of the way has been highly professional. Regular updates prior to the work beginning was extremely helpful. When the work actually begun, the crew was on time every day, efficient, and took care to protect our property around the house. There was always a foreman present throughout the job to answer questions. It is obvious that this is a very professionally run organization that produces a quality end-product.

Overall I was satisfied with the quality of the work performed and the detailed attention the crew gave to their work tasks.

I had Craftsmen put new roofing on my house this Dec. It all went smoothly and they were friendly and professional. Scheduling roofing is weather dependent and we had some rainy/windy days that affected when my roof would be done - they were exceptionally good at keeping me in the loop so I knew exactly when materials would arrive and when the job would be done. I also had gutters added and a new window put in -- all done well. Very happy with the end result and the customer service.

CHI was very easy to work with. From the first meeting, while I was waiting my turn, during the roofing, and even after the roofing was done the communication was very good and the process was easy. I am very happy with the quality of the work and I would recommend them to family and friends.

I was very happy with the whole process of having my roof replaced on house and garage and new gutters on 2 sides of the house. The organization and planning was excellent, from start to finish. I changed my mind about whether to include the porch roof, which was a more recent roof, in the job, and called up and got another estimate including that portion, without having another visit. I asked if my stove vent could be hooked up and this was included for what I thought was a resasonable amount, $80., and was given addresses to look at the different colors available 'on the roof', as well as the samples brought to my house with the estimate /offer visit. The house roof was done in one day and the garage roof the next good day weather wise; and care was taken not to leave shingles and nails etc. on the ground. I found just a few small staples --which I think is great, considering how much was done. The gutters were installed actually on Thanksgiving morning to work around the snow, and my schedule, and with an offer to return to adapt the downspout to accomadate a water barrel when I get one.

I highly recommend working with Craftsmen Home Improvements. My daughter had worked with them the summer before I did and we were both very impressed with the quality of product and service. So it was without question that I wanted to work with them when it came to my roof too.

Overall very pleased with service and experience. By far the best communication and follow through compared to the three other quotes and several other calls. Everyone was friendly and addressed things extremely promptly. No headaches and fair price. Plan to use them for our next set of windows and perhaps other work.

From the initial meeting through job completion, the folks at Craftsman were very responsive and very professional. I obtained three bids from different companies initially, and they were all pretty close. I went with Craftsman because they were great about returning my contact in a timely manner, and made no attempts to upsell me when discussing what I was interested in doing. In fact, at one point I was considering James Hardy, but was given honest feedback about vinyl fitting just fine with the character of my neighborhood (and of course now that they are done, I have to agree!). Craftsman was always mindful of my time, as well (such as not wasting my time pushing services I didn't need, and showing up fully prepared to get the job done when they were scheduled to be here). Nice, friendly crew. They even drilled helped me finish drilling a hole for an AC lineset when I asked if I could mark the area to finish the drill through after the siding was done. There were a few other very positive interactions along the same lines. The job was done very quickly-just two days, and it was not a case of rushing through the job (so I'm expecting the work is quality and will last). They brought out a full crew (instead of just 2 or 3 people) and worked the full day, both days. Craftsman is a company I would recommend.

Just had 5 windows and a patio door replaced by Craftsmen Home Improvements. I have to say I'm extremely happy with the quality of the windows install and the workmanship provide by the window installation crew (Tom, Jim and crew). New windows look great and the stain matching was spot on. Looks like perfect and I am ecstatic with the results. I will recommend anyone looking to get windows replaced to Craftsman. And if their window crew is anything like their other crews I'd recommend them for other services as well. If / when I need more work done on the house I will definitely call them to get a quote. They were helpful in answering my questions as they worked. Took fantastic care while doing work in the house by covering things and using drop cloths as needed. Windows were replaced in December with the cold weather and took extra steps to prevent to much heat loss in the house.

The house looks very nice. It was very dated, and it looks much cleaner and more contemporary. The crew arrived on time each day and worked the full day. They also cleaned up nicely. We have a few things that will need working through with Craftsmen to finish the job fully, but I am confident that we can work through these issues.

I was very pleased with Craftsman Home Improvements. Jim Kosloski was very thorough and helpful as was Maria Sanocki. Jim made the effort to be at my house when the insurance adjustor came to look at the roof damage and I found it reassuring that he could make some input with the insurance adjustor. Also, Maria was very good at keeping me up to date on the timing of the workers working on the roof and fascia, following up with the Roseville city inspectors and responding to my questions.13

We purchased their windows because they offered a window with vey high energy efficiency. Erik was the salesman. He didn't try to sell us more than we needed, but we wanted higher efficiency, so we actually bought more window than he specified. I wasn't totally comfortable taking the word of the saleman on the energy efficiency, but was able to verify the claims by doing some online research. The company worked with us to help us get the type of windows we wanted; they had to make some tweaks to what we originally ordered in order to get what we asked for. The windows arrived in the time frame we requested. The installers came as scheduled and did the installation without a problem. The windows looked fantastic after the installation. We are very pleased with the look and operation of the windows. We have learned from previous experience that you only know how good a window is after several years of operating it. However, at this point we are very pleased with the windows and the job that was done.

We decided over 12 years ago to replace the existing windows on our 1963 rambler. After weeding through all the companies out there, I'm so glad we chose Craftsmen Home Improvements! They have been wonderful to work with and recently helped us out on a warranty issue we wouldn't been able to afford to replace. Scott Ring was a great guy and very accommodating to work with and did a very efficient, quality job installing. He even went the extra step to come out to double check measurements before hand to be sure he got the right windows. We're now getting around to more remodeling and know who we'll be calling!

During a storm, our kitchen light began to leak water. I contacted several companies early the next morning and connected with a few of them but CHI had the best reviews on Angie's List. Jim from CHI stopped over within a day or two to assess our situation (both in our attic & our roof). He took his time and was thorough in explaining what he saw. He sat down with us to discuss options and review how the insurance process worked. Jim remained in close contact with us during the insurance claim process and when it was approved for fixing, Maria (the roofing project manager) helped schedule a date and continued to display excellent communication (from a slightly changed date to placement of the dumpster). Finally, the financing process was a breeze thanks to Nic. It was clear that others who reviewed them on Angie's List were correct in their assessment - CHI is a great company to work with - especially when it matters the most. They are trust worthy, have excellent craftsmanship & fantastic communication. The price was fair (similar to what our claims adjuster awarded) and financing was a breeze.

I want to thank the amazing team that did the work on our house. We have had many different companies do work on our home and by far, the Craftsman Home Improvements crew was the most professional group that we have ever seen. From Jim, who patiently and kindly explained the whole process to me, to Maria and Joni keeping me informed of start dates, to Matt checking in with me during the work and all the other great guys who worked tirelessly for the 3 day job. Not only was the work done beautifully, everything was kept very clean and organized and after they were done, you couldn't tell that they had even been here! (except for the fantastic new roof, skylights, soffit, fascia, gutters and an old playhouse teardown!) Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!!! I will not hesitate a second before recommending you to everyone I know!

Great service from start to finish. Estimate was realistic and thoroughly explained, sales person (Jim), was fantastic. We were kept very well informed about the start date of our project. There was a slight delay in the start of our project due to the some of the siding being delivered damaged, but not a big deal. Crew and foreman (2 foreman in fact - Pat and Beto) arrived on morning scheduled, and explained the process. All of crew extremely friendly, and clean up each evening was thorough - very thorough! Job was done in a timely manner. Oh, forgot to mention that before the siding was done, we had a door installed, and another door painted to match our future siding. I mentioned to the gentleman we had a couple of posts in our driveway (there to prevent us from hitting our gas meter) that I would like to freshen up with a coat of paint. He said, sure there would be some paint left over and he would leave it with me. Within a half an hour without me noticing, he went ahead and painted them! He explained he had the paint out and it just be easy for him than me - well of course, thank you! After the job was done we had a few concerns and a few nits. Before I knew it, Pat the foreman was over and taking care of the concerns and the nits. We were picky, and they took it all in stride, and with all smiles. Wish more companies a operated like Craftsmen! One negative, but not their fault - not sure if I picked the right type of gutter screen - openings are catching our maple seeds. I would have chosen differently next time, but again not a negative on their company, just something to consider if you have maple trees in your yard.

This was our second project that was done by Craftsmen Home Improvements, Inc.. Our first project was an attic insulation project completed a few years ago, this project was a roof replacement. From our experience with Jim, who came out to bid on the job (and actually did some repairs while he was here), to Maria, who gave us constant updates on schedule, and finally Matt and his crew, this was a great project. The roof turned out excellent and we were very happy with the entire process. Thanks!

We decided to use Craftsmen Home Improvements and we are so glad we did. Every step of the process from the initial bid to the final cleanup met or exceeded our expectations. Everyone at Craftsmen Home Improvements was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had along the way. In today's fast pace world it is difficult to find a company that actually cares about making sure the customer is completely satisfied with the results. The windows and doors look great.
