Excellent. I was a bit skeptical at first hiring a company I wasn't familiar with, but, everything went very smooth. From the sales team to the installers...everyone was very professional. Even when I wanted some "tweaks" to the look of my roof I was accommodated. The team of roofers, even though young, were very friendly and knowledgeable. They worked expeditiously and professionally. I would definitely use this company again and am considering Craftsman for a siding job.

Craftsmen was fantastic to work with. Eric (the sales point of contact) was great about getting the right window that I wanted. I did a lot of research ahead of time and had some pretty specific features I was interested (Hayfield vinyl windows with some upgrades). He was very knowledgeable about all the products they had, and was really fair on pricing and working out some ways to compete with other bids. Eric was also very good about communicating and returned calls promptly. Once we got the windows ordered, Kim was great about scheduling and keeping me posted on the timeline. When the work was getting started, the crew was great. They were extremely punctual. They said they would be showing up between 8:30 and 9 am, and both days of the job they were there at 8:30 on the dot. They were very respectful about walking in and out of the house, handling furniture etc. They used drop cloths around every window and did a great job cleaning up the work site each day. Jim and Tom (the foremen) were great about answering questions as I had them, Steve was a wizard with the caulk gun and Tyler did a great job foaming in the windows. Overall the project took just about a day and a half. Craftsmen was great about every step of the project and I will certainly be giving them a call in the future for any additional projects I may need help on.

Professional as always. They worked with me on some custom changes and took extra time to get it right. This is the fourth time I have hired Craftsmen, and I plan to hire them again.

The CHI siding crew just finished installing James Hardie siding on the front of our home yesterday. Pat and Beto and his crew did a fantastic job! The workmanship was excellent and they paid very close attention to detail. Every corner is perfect, every nail hole is filled, and the jobsite was completely cleaned up afterwards. Tom, Jim and the window install crew also did a great job a few weeks prior. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend CHI to others. Erik was the sales rep, but he also continued to provide excellent help and assistance (answering all of my many phone calls and texts :) even after the contract was signed. What I like most about CHI is the time that they invest to recommend all of the little things that a homeowner would never think of. Their attention to detail, the patience they showed in listening to me, and the attitude they take with performing the work as if it were their own home was truly refreshing and greatly appreciated. I was also very impressed when the company owner (Dan) personally addressed a concern I had by phone on the same day. Once again, we would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

From start to finish my experience with Craftsmen Home Improvements has been positive. I had 4 estimates done from reputable window installers and Craftsmen was the last of the four to come to my home. By then I was a savvy shopper but the salesman, Erik Daehlin, listened so carefully to what I was trying to accomplish that I ended up rethinking some of my window choices because I understood the implications of my choices better. I was kept informed of installation dates and times and the windows are beautiful. I am very pleased with the quality and pricing of the finished work.

My husband and I used Craftsmen Home Improvements to replace some original windows in our 38 year old home. Throughout the entire process, they were professional, cheerful, helpful, and a joy to work with. Eric came to our home for our initial sales consultation and was able to clearly explain our options and how they would impact the appearance and performance of the new windows and what price points we were looking at. Having options and a professional explanation of the differences between windows made a huge difference in our ability to make an informed decision. Kim in the office is friendly and helpful in answering questions and scheduling the installation and fun to talk with on the phone. Tom and his crew came and did the work in a day and a half and were great with my four year old son who wanted to be around the crew as much as possible to pepper them with questions. They were able to answer our questions, gave my husband tips on how to best stain/paint the windows (since we opted to do that ourselves), and advised us on what the permit inspectors would need. This is our second time in ten years working with Craftsmen. They have always been professional, organized, easy to work with and on time. They finished our roof in one day and did a great job with clean up. We highly recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements.

The reason I picked the Craftsmen Home Improvement In. is the life time warranty on the labor / roof shingle which could be a deal breaker when selling the house. The forecast seemed was pretty rainy week but still they started to work on my roof anyway. It was small crew with only 3 people. It took 2 full-days and 2 half days working due the rainy week to finish my roof. Good planning, organized and well trained crew to protect the roof deck when it rained. I am very happy and satisfied with their work. Jim, a salesman , was very helpful and detail to offer a reasonable and fair bid. Maria Sanocki was very informative project coordinator. I am very positive that I placed my roof in the good hands.

The work was completed in a timely fashion with high quality materials once scheduled.

Craftsmen Home Improvements, Inc completed two projects for us. Roofing and siding. I received bids from three companies. Craftsmen was not the lowest but the most complete bid. The other bids had holes that likely would have made for change orders that would effect the fine price. From beginning to end, every step was monitored and completed by professional people clearly interested in doing the best job possible. The roof was first. Lines are straight, sealed, every step completed just as promised and the site cleaned in top order. Next, the siding was installed. The first hint of their professionalism was the teams attitude. All smiles and efficient work process. The Hardie wrap was not just installed but tight and every air gap sealed with tape. Once the project was finished, our house looks brand new. Even the City inspector commented on the great job they did both on the roof and siding. I have no problem recommending Craftsmen Home Improvements to anyone.

In preparation for reroofing our house, I interviewed five roofing companies. Craftsmen Home Improvements was the only company that pointed out that the sagging we had at the eaves was going to make a new roof a moot point, unless we got it fixed. We had been concerned about this, but no one had mentioned it or discussed how it might be corrected. Other contractors were basically interested in slapping a new roof on. The hoisting and strengthening work they did with rebar and support beams was critical to our having a roof that will last another 30 years. They were always professional, returned calls, answered all questions, and went above and beyond. When our rain barrel broke soon after completion, they came out an added an additional gutter downspout at no cost. I also know that due to the unique issues presented by our roof, they put more work into the roof than we were charged for.

I had several bids for the work and Craftsmen gave me the most confidence that they could address an issue I had with water flow over the entryway. Jim was very competent in his ability to bid the job, explain what the would do to address my concern, explain the process and timeline, etc. Craftsmen clearly communicated when they were going to start, where they planned to put the supplies and equipment, and followed up if there were any changes to the plan. The roofing crew was very friendly and professional and answered my questions on site. I never saw the soffit crew, they came and left while I was at work. Their work looks great. Craftsmen was professional, did a great job, was competitively priced, cleaned up, handled all the permit and inspection work, followed up to see if I was satisfied, and provided a great warranty. I don't know what else anyone would expect. I would hire them again and will recommend to friends.

It turns out the problem resulted from the roofer shifting of the furnace vent when they did the roofing...I also involved my HVAC company who ended up replacing the vent. That was done by Pronto, another great company to work with. I believe ultimately the problem stemmed from the design/construction of the vents making it susceptible to this sort of problem. I am hoping to convey here that Craftsmen worked hard to help solve the problem and never balked at going the extra steps to satisfy us.

The entire process from initial estimate, to scheduling and job completion was done very well. Every person that I talked to from Craftsman was extremely helpful and the work they did was outstanding. I am very happy with the end result. They took great care to be sure the job was done well, and answered all my questions along the way. As the job was being done, they protected my property well and their clean-up was outstanding! The gutter job was very small - it looks great, too. The overall cost was competitive. I would definitely recommend them.

Craftsmen Home Improvements were incredibly nice and knowledgeable with their craft. I am pretty clueless about home repair and upgrades but they would always fill me in if I was ever curious about what they were doing or why they were doing it. I got an estimate from a number of companies to replace my replacement windows, which was about half the windows in my house. While many of these windows were bad, the bigger problem was the wrap was pulling away from the side of the house, letting water into the walls. After deciding on the type of window I wanted (high-end vinyl), I had three companies left to choose from. The prices were all comparable and the reviews were good. I chose Craftsmen Home Improvement because they had the most reviews and they agreed to do some minor roof repair as well. Overall, the project went smoothly. The timelines for ordering the windows, payment, and start of work were clear. Everyone showed up on time, was friendly, and was professional. I did not realize the work would take as many visits as it did. I believe it was two days for initial window replacement, a later day to replace rotting wood, a day for roof work, a day for wrapping, and a final day to wrap a missed window. This was spread out over a few weeks. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but it might be something to ask about if your timelines are tight. The sales person was not on the crew doing the work. My experiences with both were good, but sometimes it wasn’t clear everything discussed with the sales person was passed to the crew and agreed upon, leaving me to bring it up if I felt strongly enough. The work itself was excellent. Overall, I feel I got high quality work for a fair price. I’m pleased with the windows and especially happy with the roof work, as getting the job done by itself was challenging. Time will tell how the work ages, but I would call them again for future work and recommend them to others.

I can't say enough about the quality of the work Craftsman Home Improvements provided. Pat, Beto and the rest of the siding crew transformed my house. The really seemed to care about the details and completed the job much faster than I expected. Every seem is caulked, every corner precise, every nail hole filled. I provided some before and after pictures. Our project isn't 100% complete. We need to wait a little bit for warmer weather for the stone to be put on but we love our siding and windows so far! I highly recommend Craftsman Home Improvements.

It all has gone well. I appreciate the initial information we were given regarding the roofing options. After making plans, we were given a discount for delaying the work until the winter. Communications prior to the work being done was great. Some gutters needed to be replaced and that was easy. The staff also let me know they would be back in the Spring to check for any nails/supplies that may have gotten lost in the snow that had just happened. We were very happy to hear this! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The communication that was received was timely, even for the smallest of things. I knew the schedule and had a say every step of the way. I found the workers were very delightful and polite. One of the things I liked best however was how clean everything was at the end of the day. Having worked with other companies and having to pick up nails and such after them, it is awesome to share I have not had to pick up one little item by this crew. From the time Craftsmen was hired to the last of the work, it has been nothing but a pleasure. The building looks great Thank you so much!!!!!

It has been a privilege to watch them work long hours to bring our home into the best possible condition. Job Site Management & Clean-Up have been quite remarkable also, - as was Project Manager Joni & the Office Support Staff.
