We are very happy with our new windows. Erik was great when he came to do our estimate and suggested options that we had never thought of. He ran through all of the steps of installation and made us feel assured that we would be getting the proper installation and service. Jay and his crew were great during the installation. They cleaned up at the end of each day and the windows look great! Will definitely recommend and consider Craftsmen for any future home improvements.

We completed the last round of siding, soffit, fascia, windows, and doors with Craftsmen this fall. They have done one side of the house each year. The work looks great and the service has been excellent.

The Craftsmen window crew did a great job on our window project. The guys were all friendly, respectful, and efficient. They gave us confidence that they knew what they were doing and we could trust that the work would be done right. They were responsive to our needs and questions and communicated clearly. They took care to protect our floors and belongings while they worked and cleaned up after their work each day. We are very pleased with their work and with how our new windows and patio door look.

Great quality of work and great customer service. Even when things don't go exactly as planned (which is not unlikely on these kind of projects), they will make things right. And that is what really separates great contractors from the others.

I chose Craftsmen Home Improvements because I was impressed with their professionalism and experience when they came to give an estimate. It was the right choice. They helped me navigate a tricky insurance situation, and were always quick to communicate. It is rare to get this level of customer service in the home improvement industry. I felt the roof replacement was priced fairly and am happy with my new roof. The crew was very fast and took care to move my grill and yard furniture to a safe place and put them all back when they were finished, they also left no mess behind.

I've had several large jobs done by Craftsmen Home Improvements and have always had a very positive experience working with them. This time, it was replacing 12 widows in my house, and I couldn't be happier. From getting regular communications about the job and when it would start, to the professionalism of the crew who did the installation, they are top-notch professionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone. It is obvious that Tom, Jim, and the entire crew take pride in their work--they care about doing the best work possible, and treated my home like they would treat their own.

Working with Craftsmen for our re-roofing/gutter installation project was a dream. We had previously received a quote from another contractor for twice the amount we received from Craftsmen, and the service level received from Craftsmen was beyond our highest expectations. From our first interactions with the team, we knew we made the right choice. The timelines received in the planning stages were accurate, however if something needed to be pushed back a couple weeks for whatever reason, we were the first to know. Our project was completed with the utmost quality and service we've ever received from any other person we've had work on our house.

The team from Craftsmen Home Improvements did an outstanding job replacing the windows on all three levels of our house. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Craftsmen Home Improvements just finished replacing the roof on my house and on my garage. Things could not have gone better. My house and garage look great. CHI's communication and professionalism are excellent. Erik and Nic were patient and willing to answer all my questions. They regularly checked in with me during the process. We were trying to solve an usual problem while doing the roofing and Jim came out also. I really felt like the whole company was working for me to make sure everything was perfect. The crew was great and the job site was thoroughly cleaned up. I lost a few hostas during the roofing process and Nic went above and beyond to ensure that they were replaced. CHI will be residing my house next year. I am confident that it will be a great experience. I wish that they did all construction trades. I would hire them for everything.

Installers were obviously skilled carpenters. Very meticulous with the new door installation. Very careful with lawn and landscaping and cleaned up everything before they left. They even purchased stain for the new interior door frame that exactly matched what was used originally in my home. Highly recommend.

My most recent experience with CHI (August 2018) for installation of replacement windows and interior doors was once again stellar. The crew of four including Tom, Jim, Tyler and Jake work together extremely well. They focus on quality and customer care every step of the way. For them our satisfaction with a job done right is the most important outcome,. However, the overall end result of the project also includes Kim back in the CHI shop who assures that the wood stain matched as closely as possible to what we already had in our home. Over the last six years I have contracted with CHI for roofing, siding, gutters, exterior doors, interior doors and windows; and my house is a showcase because of each and every one of their crews' quality workmanship. I also trust their salesperson, Erik, who can finesse insurance company adjusters with his expertise and pragmatic approach that helps you go get the most from you claim, as he did for us after hail damage.

Just had 8 widows installed by the Craftsman crew. They did an awesome job from start to finish. They showed up on time, had the materials that were needed and took the time to explain the process. They took great pride in their work which really showed in the end result. The whole process was smooth from first contact with the company to the project being complete. I would not hessite to use them again for any other upcoming major projects.

My home was recently sided with James Hardie siding by Craftsman Home Improvements and I highly recommend them based on the job they did and the final product. They quality of their work, timeliness, an excellent crew that worked extremely hard during some of this summer's highest temps and humidity and the clean-up each day was outstanding. I would certainly use Craftsman again if I have a need for other services that they provide.

CHI just finished replacing our siding, their third major project at our home. As before, the entire process went very smoothly. Communication before and during the project was great, as before. The crew arrived on schedule and then worked without interruption until completion. They were always friendly and courteous. They showed obvious attention to detail, and the workmanship appears to be flawless. All of our concerns during the project were addressed immediately and completely to our satisfaction. I am extremely happy with the work and I would not hesitate to hire CHI again.

I selected CHI from among 4 Hardie siding RFQ responders, all whom I qualified using Hardie.com, Angie’s List, BBB, etc. My contractor selection criteria included: Hardie status; Angie’s member ratings; sales presentation quality, “professionalism” & thoroughness; contract language flexibility; price (in that order). CHI’s effort even included finding & fixing a significient side project (house rot caused by improper flashing a deck added 20 years ago - not CHI. This project passed all relevant Scott County building permit inspections. Start to finish, all CHI employees I interacted with provided exceptional communications and quickly responded to my inquiries/concerns. Bottom line: I’d recommend CHI FOR HARDIE SIDING every day of the week based on this experience.

We had a great experience (again) with Craftsmen Home Improvement. From our salesman, Erik, to the scheduler and woodworker, Kim, to the whole crew of Tom, Jim, Jake, Tyler, and Steve, everyone was very professional, friendly, and helpful. They did a great job staining and installing our custom Marvin windows. When there was an issue with a quote from Marvin, they went to bat for us. Tom & Jim came up with a great workaround for rooms that had wallpaper, since the new window trim didn't come out as far as the existing. Tom and the crew went above and beyond in making sure we were happy with everything, and even helped with rehanging a shade that just happened to fall while they were here. We would definitely recommend Craftsmen Home Improvements and hope to work with them again in the future.

Craftsmen did a great job on our new roof. The work was done quickly and the cleanup was thorough. One mistake on the roof venting was corrected in a day. I would definitely hire them again for the job.

We chose Craftsman to fix damage caused by a major hail storm. We needed a new roof, siding, fascia, gutters, some windows, and paint. We selected them not only because of their second to none reviews, but because it was clear from our first phone conversation that they are a highly reputable company and this was exemplified at every step of the process. Craftsman is a small company who operates with the polish and efficiency of a larger company while still providing the personal touch of a small one. They did quality work and all its employees were professional, easy to work with, and could be trusted to go the extra mile to get the job done right. I would strongly recommend them and will use them again if there’s a need in the future.

This was the final stage of a project, which was spread over three years because of income tax considerations. I appreciated the continuity of working with the same staff and crew over these years. The skill and workmanship was excellent throughout. Cost of Service was for this final stage. Picture shows their investment in equipment and professionalism.

You wouldn't know it was the same house. The crew was very efficient, and pleasant. Pat, Lewis, Kevin, Emilio, Ray and Beto. These guys worked very hard in really hot, humid weather. Everyone was cheerful and pleasant. We are very pleased at the results. We would recommend the Craftsmen crew to everyone.

Craftsmen handled my roofing/gutter replacement this spring. This is my second large project with Craftsmen, having used their services for a full window replacement in my home a couple years ago. This recent roof work was another positive experience. This company provides stellar customer service. They are extremely responsive and accommodating to my many questions and picky requests. I'll continue to call on Craftsmen for upcoming projects.
