Craftsmen installed windows for me a couple years earlier and, since I was so pleased with their work at that time, I called them again. Even though they normally have a minimum number of windows per job, Dan agreed to do this single window for me since they had done the earlier installation for me. The bathroom window is in the front of my house so Dan suggested I use textured glass so that I could get sunlight but people passing by could not see in. It was a great suggestion. I love the window. John, the installer, was prompt, fast and left my bathroom neat and clean. I am very pleased with the work and highly recommend this company. Their customer service is A-1.

Excellent. This normally is a noisy and messy project, but this neatnik mom of a preschooler found the whole experience to be enjoyable! The project went like this: old windows removed and new ones installed, interior trim installed, old exterior siding removed and new siding/trim installed, staining and painting, glass block windows installed. Everyone who entered our home was very professional and friendly. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves each day. They patiently answered all our questions. And they were pickier about details than us. They noticed very minor stuff and fixed it right away.

Great job from bid to finish. They were on time, knowledgeable and helpful. I got 5 bids and they were lowest. Contract crew worked hard all day from dawn until dark, cleaned up each night and were a pleasure to be around. I'd definitely go with them again.

Work went very well. The entire project took about seven months - from the very first meeting until all of the detail work was completed. It was quite a long time from start to finish, but all of our patience paid off - windows look great and will last a long time to come.

This is a first class company. From the sales meeting with Erik Daehlin I made up my mind I wanted this company to do the job. I got two other competitive bids but I had a good feeling about Craftsmen. Jim Knauf and John Davis, the installers, were perfectionists who weren't happy until everything was perfect. John even leveled my freezer in the garage. Beto, the aluminum trim installer, is a magician with sheet metal. Jim Bird and Ron Caron did the staining and it is absolutely gorgeous. Ron stained my fiberglass Therma Tru door and the results are breathtaking. I have very high standards and this company met them and more. Dan Bydlon, the owner, checked in regularly to make sure things were going well. He quickly handled some vendor issues that came up. I always felt like I was in good hands with this company. I have recommended them to everyone I know. Everyone who came to my home was someone I liked personally and respected professionally.

Jim with Craftsmen Home Improvements was very knowledgeable and courteous. After having four different bids, we chose another contractor.

Erik, the salesman, was kind and punctual. He really helped me understand more about vinyl windows. I did feel, however, that he was giving me a 'pitch'; i.e. talked incessantly about what I absolutely needed (more than I thought). The bid ended up being almost 2X as much as the company I chose, who installed the same windows, with the same guarantee, & had an equally high-quality installer.

Great work. From talking and meeting with Erik Dahlin, the sales representative, working with Dan Bydland who handles all customer service, and Dan Dahlin with the window frame and repair work and the installation crew including Tom and others.. They all did a great job from start to finish. Phone calls and inquires were handled in a timely manner. Job site was generally cleaned each day. Great customer service.

They were excellent. They really focused on consumer satisfaction. While they were putting the siding up, I noticed there was a large space between the end of the board and the edge of the house. They offered to take the whole wall down and redo it. We are very happy with their work and happy they came back to clean, put the gutters back up and replaced shingles that had been damaged by the ladders.

They did very professional work. I was very satisfied overall. The site was clean, and there was no damage to yard or shrubs. Visible parts where the roof meets stucco look great. The scheduler was good at keeping us up to date.

I was very impressed with Dan, Eric, and the entire team that work at Craftsmen. I am a former owner of a small business that dealt with contractors, and I wanted to make sure I was entering into a ''partnership'' with a team of remodeling professionals that cared about the quality of work and service they provided. I hold a very high standard for workmanship and I didn't want a contractor working on my home that didn't care to perform to my degree of satisfaction. After interviewing several contractors I chose Craftsmen based on their long track record for providing excellent service and quality work. From the first meeting to the last (and trust me, I requested plenty) Dan and his team gave me 100% of their time and attention. I appreciated Dan going beyond the terms of the contract to handle all of the things that made my experience with Craftsmen outstanding. Always a joy to work with. Good price, highest level of customer service available, and work was performed with utmost skill. I would not hesitate to book their services again.

It took a couple of appointments for him to show up and give an estimate. Estimate was not the highest I got, but was higher than the insurance adjustment so I decided to go with one of the companies with a lower estimate and was pleased with the job they did. Based on the other comments on this company, I'm sure they would have done a good job if I had contracted with them.

Everyone I worked with was very professional, prompt and kept in touch throughout the whole process. If they had questions they worked around my schedule to meet. When they left my home the job site was cleaned up. They worked with me on a few touch ups with the siding and they were not satisfied with their work until I was. On an un-related problem I had with my bedroom ceiling and water spots, Dan sent out a fellow from his roofing dept who fixed the problem by re-caulking around the vents - something 3 other roofing contractors couldn't figure out. If you need siding or windows this is the company to call.

Dan and his crew were fantastic. Very helpful, friendly and easy to work with.

Overall great experience. I did find a few metal scraps and sheetmetal screws after the gutters were placed. Jim Byrd, the painter, was very pleasant and did excellent work.

We have consistently had professional dealings with Craftsmen and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Alex and his siding crew were wonderful to work with. They were punctual, professional, and took pride in their workmanship. Dan, the owner of the company, was responsive to every concern that I had during the project and after completion. He was continually in contact with me and visited the job site to make sure everything was progressing smoothly. The house looks beautiful and I look forward to many maintenance free years.

I had contacted Craftsmen Home Improvement to reside my house following a hailstorm in September of 2005. I had a bid from another contractor to re-roof the same house. When Eric was doing the bid for the siding he asked if he could bid on the roofing as well. I agreed and while his initial bid was more than the other contractor Eric asked if they could get the job if he matched the other bid. I agreed. At the time I signed the contract for the siding Eric reviewed his roofing bid and decided that he could not do the job at the bid price and I subsequently had the other contractor do the roofing.

Our overall experince with all the different contractors was excellent. We had painters, carpenters, exterminators, wall boarders, roofers, etc. They were all courteous and extremely respectful of our home. They kept the job site neat and tidy and were mostly on time. I would highly recomend using Craftsmen Home Impovements, Inc. for any home improvement jobs. I will use them again soon for some other work I need done.

Working on this siding project with Craftsmen was the most positive experience we have ever had with contractors. Everyone involved in the project was a true professional. The workmanship is beautiful, communication with Dan was terrific, and the overall experience with Craftsmen, in a word,outstanding. If and when we have additional home improvements to make, Craftsmen will be our choice. They are the top of the heap!

Jim from Craftmen came to our home to give us estimates on a new roof and windows. He was on time and very professional. We ended up using a different company for our roof project, also on Angie's list, who came in with a better bid. I wouldn't hesitate to use Craftmen for our windows when we are able to do them.

The salesman, Erik, called me after I had inquired about replacement windows at Gorell.com. Approximately 8 weeks later Dan Bydlon called and we set up a date to have the windows installed. Jim and John showed up on time and promptly started the removal of and installation of the new windows. Both were very courteous and careful by placing drop cloths in the areas they were working. The window installation was completed in two days and on the third day the outside trim crew showed up and completed the job. I had two minor problems with two windows but John handled them after a call to Dan. The windows seem to be very efficient and I have noticed the air conditioner runs a lot less. I chose to complete the Interior trim although the work that Craftsmen had done at my nephew s home was done very well.
