Did a great job, the work was high quality, carpenters were extremely conscientious, cleaned up every day after work, front office was very flexible on scheduling, and competitive on price.

The project went very smoothly. They kept me informed as to when they hoped to start my roof, based on other projects they were doing. The job started when they said it would and they completed it as promised too. Plus, the clean-up was incredible, I could not tell they had been there.

Craftsman built a beautiful deck and screened porch on my home in 2004. Unfortunately, due to the extremely cold winter and deeper than anticipated frost levels, one of the support posts became dislodged and needed to be repaired. I called Dan Bydlon, who called me back the same day, despite the fact that he and his wife had just had a baby the very day I called! After speaking with me, Dan contacted Jim Funke who called me back despite the fact that he was on vacation in San Francisco! Ultimately, Denny came out and replaced the post- free of charge! When Craftsman says they guarantee their work for life, they are not just making empty promises.

We decided to go with another company.

Craftsmen was very professional, but we did not choose them because it appeared that they had a preconceived notion about what should be done with our house and did not seem as knowledgeable about overall old home windows installations (like another company is). I think they did not offer alternative ideas because they didnt "fit" with the type of projects Craftsman wants to do. Perhaps they try to keep what they do within a bandwidth that allows them to maximize the number of projects they can complete? Their bid was a typed up email and was not detailed (like another company provided--full detail of each unit on company letterhead). If they have the quality and experience of their carpenters, it did not show through in the bid and visit. Also, their price was almost double other estimates.

They were very professional. They showed up when they said. The work performed was good. They cleaned everything when they left.

The windows were supposed to be delivered and put inside my garage. I came home to find all the windows stacked up outside my house. I called Craftsmen after 5:00 pm and they sent someone out that evening to move them inside. The next day, I discovered five of the windows had been ordered in the wrong color combination, and two of the window frames were damaged. Dan Bydlon got right on re-ordering the windows, and sent someone out to touch up the damage on the frames, but gave me the option to completely replace both units, or accept a monetary adjustment. Once the corrected order came in, one of those window panes was cracked and some damage was found on my woodwork. Dan sent someone out to repair/touch up the woodwork, and the cracked window has been replaced. This may sound like a negative review; but it's not. While I had hoped things could have gone a bit more smoothly, Dan made sure things got done right, and made sure I was happy in the end. I'd use Craftsmen again.

Overall they did a decent job. I expected them to put a new drip edge on but they didn't. And they were estimating about where the bathroom was when they cut the vent hole...it ended up being about 10 feet off the mark and will require extensive venting to connect it to a future bathroom vent. They finished the job in one day.

I just thought they did a good job and were prompt with everything. It took them about three and a half hours to do it. I thought they did a good job. They cleaned up and hauled everything away.

I had seen a home in my neighborhood that had had new siding place on their home a couple years ago and whenever I drove by, I always thought that it looked well done. When our siding became so rotted that it needed to be replace, I stopped over to inquire about who they had hired to do their siding. They had only nice things to say about Craftsmen Home Improvement, Inc., so I called. The salesman was very professional and informative. They were not they least expensive, but the price was very reasonable for the job and I felt that the work I had seen them do made it worth it. They were always available and were willing to work with us on any concerns, until we were completely satisfied. The workmen were polite and kind and were skillful in their workmanship. I am very pleased with how the house looks now and knowing that it is maintenance free, and I smile when I pull into my driveway.

The overall experience was positive. This was a significant financial investment in my home, and I'm pleased with the results. I would definitely use Craftsmen again.

All we can say is, WOW, what a great company. They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Calls returned, questions answered, advance notice always given for visits by staff or workers. We had a conflict with the time already scheduled for roofing, no problem to accommodate. We got cold feet DURING the roofing about the shingle choice, no problem to accommodate. The roofing work was done quickly and expertly by a crew that was pleasant and courteous. The cleanup was perfect. Not a scrap or nail left anywhere. We couldn't be happier with the result. Thank you, Dan and Matt!

Our wood windows were rotting, and our two exterior entry doors were ugly and drafty. I love wood windows but was tired of the ''refinish or watch them rot'' cycle we had experienced with the mid-range quality windows that were in the house when we purchased it. The Craftsmen salesperson did a great job of presenting the options to us. We decided to go with high-quality vinyl windows and wood trim on the inside to match our existing trim. Our primary window installer was an artiste. He did an amazing job. I've never seen anyone do a better job of getting everything square and tight. We love the windows and the work he did. This was certainly not a rush job. He took his time and did it right, and we're glad he did. He was neat and respectful of our house. He communicated with us about every detail, so we knew exactly what was going on. We could not be more pleased. The salesperson, the installer, and the company representative all served us well.

Craftsmen Home Improvements is extremely easy to work with. They are straightforward and what they say will happen actually happens. We had our roof replacement done in early January - an unusually warm early January for Minnesota. The materials were delivered before a relatively small snowfall. Our roof wasn't opened up until it was safe (dry days) to do so. Everything went off without a hitch. Cleanup was amazingly good for having some snow on the ground. It looks great and we are extremely pleased with everything about the job. And the cost was UNDER what our insurance adjuster estimated for the job without Craftsmen ever seeing (or even asking to see) the insurance adjuster's numbers. Have you ever noticed how most roofing companies want to work out the deal directly with your insurance adjuster and run away if they can't do that? Craftsmen never mentioned getting a sneak peak at the insurance numbers.

Went great have no complaints. They accidentally broke the neighbors fence, was fixed by the end of the project.

The sales person followed up a couple of times to see where we were at, which I found encouraging.

It was a very good experience. The work was great, the crew was professional and the clean up was done well.

The job went very well. I am VERY particular, work out of my home, so am there as a constant "supervisor", and they did an extremely good job, also dealt with me and my very particular nature very well. Had much follow up from the owner, Dan Bydlon, who continually told me he wanted me to be completely satisfied with the job - and then followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied. Just an all-around great experience.

Very impressed from start to finish. The rep was courteous, on-time and very informative. We went to the showroom to actually view the shingles - it helped us in transitioning from cedar to regular shingles. This was late in the season, and we were lucky with two unseasonably warm days. They used a large crew, who were on time and were courteous. The job was done in 1 day - 2 was planned. Clean up was amazing and thorough. The rep followed up after the job and inspected the roof. Would definitely use this company again.

Jim came to our house spent time listening to all the items we wanted to get completed and itemized them on the initial quote. After consideration of 8 other contractors with similar, yet limited quotes (did not cover all of the items we wanted to be done), we knew on the initial visit that Craftsmen was superior. Craftsmen warned us upfront of the time line to get the house completed and called frequently to let us know when the next piece of the project would be taken care of. We did receive excellent customer service all through the process. The final invoice came in exactly where we expected it to and the work completed has been great. Overall, there were no issues that we not resolved immediately and to our satisfaction. We have had to call one time after job completion and Jim was out to visit and take care of it within a week or so. After completion many neighbors had complimented us on how the house came together!!

Craftsmen is a very professional company, pays close attention to the homeowner, and does excellent, quality work. Dan Bydlon and Eric were always prompt and professional in returning calls and responding to questions. None of the problems typically associated with residential contractors. One problem with the window order was handled professionally, and to our satisfaction. No job will be without problems. What really counts is how problems are addressed. Craftsmen is excellent in this regard. Jim performed the window and door installation. He is courteous, thorough and does excellent work. We received competitive bids from two other window companies for the same product and Craftsmen was slightly lower cost. But not significantly. A primary reason for choosing them over the other bids was their ability to do other work as well. The fascia work and gutters and they were able to start on short notice and Angie's List rating. Highly recommended. We would use them again.

The men I worked with were trustworthy and very responsive.

Very well. Done in the winter. Painted as soon as they were able in the spring. All work superior and service excellent.

They did a super job. They were courteous and cleaned up very well. They explained things so I could understand. I could not have asked for better service. Well worth every penny.
