Mike Brinkman the owner, was the one who installed the carpet poorly for Renters Warehouse. He had his employee come first to clean the other carpets, (did a poor job and was very rude), and measure the room to have the new carpet, but Lance didn't even bring a tape measure!! He walked it with his feet and called that in to Mike, who used that short measure to buy the carpet before coming to my house! Mike measured with a tape when he arrived and noticed the mistake, argued with Lance about it, but instead of going out and buying the right size carpeting, he cut up the short size carpeting into 9 pieces to fit, barely!! Some pieces were only 2" wide and most were at the doorways which will and are wearing badly! Also, there was a level issue from the tiled kitchen area to the living room that needed something extra underneath to transition. He refused to do it and left it for us to trip on. I complained to the management company to no avail and even got my lawyer involved. Mike and Lance both lied to their lawyer, so it was dismissed. It wasn't until the City housing inspector came to evaluate that it was taken care of by a professional carpet company!! I was never reimbursed for the poor carpet cleaning, because I had to call another company to clean it again or any of my trouble. All this took 8 months to get handled. I have Mike Brinkman on video admitting to his and Lance's mistakes and also stating that "When I get a job for RentersWarehouse, they don't expect a really good job, just for me to slap it in as cheaply as possible." Both of these men were nothing but rude and disrespectful to me and are the worst company to call. DON'T DO IT!

His boss, Mike Brinkman bought the carpet without coming to the house first to measure properly. When he got to the house he did measure and realized that the numbers were off 2 feet. He called Lance and they stood in the room arguing about how his feet are a good measurement etc. It was clear from their conversation that Mike had bought the carpet 2 foot too small for the room/hallway due to Lance's not using a measuring tape. I assumed that Mike would do the right thing and go out and buy the correct larger amount of carpet to fit, but he "didn't want to take the loss"-his words. He then proceeded to cut the smaller piece of carpet up into 9 pieces to fit it in, some as small as one half inch. Most of the pieces placed at the doorways, which will wear the worst-high traffic areas. He also left a tripping hazard where the tile and carpet meets and refused to fix it without more money. He also left old padding down that was urine soaked from previous owners because he didn't buy enough. He refused to replace this mess of a carpet when confronted or the tripping hazard even after I had my lawyer contact him. It is not the first time he has refused to fix his messes and I doubt the last. He yelled at me and was disrespectful to say the least. I am stuck with a shabby mess of carpet that won't last and a tripping hazard that remains. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
Description of Work: Clean 3 rooms rooms of carpet, clean air ducts and replace one room and hallway carpet. Lance, the employee did the ducts and carpet cleaning. He did not speak before working, did the jobs. He went to measure the one room/hallway for carpet, but didn't have a measuring tape! He paced the floor with his feet instead and told his boss over the phone his estimate.

Horrible!! Guy (owner) was short on the phone. Next guy (tech) was late for our appointment, no professional vehicle uniform or equipment, didn't explain or move anything, walked in & out with his shoes on, used a ton of chemicals & dirty stinky water, left it soaking wet & smelling like a dirty wet dog. Called the next day to explain the wetness & smell, got the owner again. He yelled, swore, blamed, mocked & eventually agreed to come check it out. Showed up an hour after promised to throw a can of disinfectant at us, yell more, swear more, blame more, mock more & have a total temper tantrum & stormed out with no resolution. A month later my carpet still smells like a dirty wet dog & seems flatter & weighed down. I'm completely shocked that this Mike Brinkman can still own a business at all. I'm disgusted!!

Their advertisement said "no residue"; and the coupon got us 8 rooms and stairs cleaned for $199. With pre-treating on two small areas and tax, the total came to $260. The technician Lance arrived at 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. The equipment he used was portable (it sat on our front porch) and extremely loud. He kept running to our laundry room sink to fill a 5 gallon bucket and back to pour it into the machine. It took him almost 4 hours to finish. When he left, the carpets were very wet - it took almost two days for them to dry, even with fans running and the air exchanger running for hours on end. Once they did dry, they felt sticky under bare feet and matted down really easily. While there was no odor at all, no chemical smell, there were several places where the formerly white carpet had developed blue and red colored spots! I called the company and spoke to Mike, and told him about the spotted carpet, and that I wanted to have everything gone over again, with plain water to rinse the residue out of everything that had been cleaned, because the carpets were sticky. He was pleasant and willingly agreed to have Lance come out late in the afternoon the next day. Lance got to our house pretty late - after 5:00. After he spent another 4+ hours going over the carpet in the whole house, the spots were gone, the carpet thoroughly rinsed, and wet as it was the first time. But at least they are no longer sticky.

I called the number on the coupon I had. A guy answered with the business name. He answered a couple questions I had about residue and soap. I asked if I could get my carpet cleaned today by chance and he said Yes. He said he would have someone out between 2pm-4pm. Brent came out on time. I was very happy with this same-day, on-time arrival. Brent seems like a good guy who is not really excited about cleaning carpets. Other companies I have used in the past, have given me alot information about the cleaning process and my options without me even asking. This company was a little like pulling teeth and I dont think he wanted to be at my house cleaning carpets at all. The living room is what I would consider the equivalent of 2 rooms (24X24) The guy on the phone said there is a 3 room minimum and I could pick another room to be cleaned or additional treatment on the living room carpet instead of a 3rd room. I asked Brent if I could count the stairs as a room and the answer was No. There are 6 steps down to the living room and 6 stairs down to the sub basement (12 total steps). I was told each set of steps would be counted as a room. So the living room carpet and steps equalled "4 rooms" and there was no extra treatments. Brent started to tell me that a set of stairs would normally be $30 each so I was getting a deal...This may be true...the total cost with tax was $55. He did not care what the guy on the phone told me and said he was there now and telling me how I would be charged. I was irritated that Brent came in without taking his shoes off, irritated he wasn't more helpful when I had questions about the process and treatment options, irritated that he didn't seem like he wanted to be there, irritated with the 4 room thing, irritated that a small puddle was left on the sub basement floor. But I did take the deal even though I was crabby, and the carpet does looks better and I got same day service. I think companies who want alot of business need to realize how important it is to have employees who take pride in their work and are eager to answer questions. When customers dont get that sense, you don't have trust. I have had better experiences with other carpet cleaners.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Complete Carpet Care. Mike, the owner, was completely out of line. We had called to get an estimate on carpet cleaning, but no one answered. We later received a voicemail stating that they didn't answer the phone because they thought we were a telemarker, but he didn't identy himself as an employee of Complete Carpet Care. (We saw the number on caller ID.) He called back two more times, and my wife answered the last. She said we had already found another company and that we didn't appreciate them screening our calls and then calling back at 8:45 at night. She hung up. Mike then called back and I answered. He asked that "the twelve year-old that I assume was your wife" be put back on the phone. He then went on about how she didn't have the right to be rude to him. He also stated that he didn't consider us customers so he didn't care about professionalism. Stay away from these guys. I wouldn't want anyone from this company in my house.

They came right away, within 2 days. The price was very reasonable. They did an excellent job and they spot treated some areas. It's a 2 level house about 1500 sqft of carpeting. They even gave me a discount because it was my birthday.

I HAD A COUPON FOR FOUR ROOMS AND HALLWAY, AT $60. BEWARE: THEY GET YOU ON THE STAIRS, $2.50 EACH! THE GUY WHO ANSWERS THE PHONES NEVER ANSWERED WITH THE COMPANY'S NAME, SO THAT MADE THEM LOSE SOME CREDIBILITY WITH ME. THE TECHNICIAN SAID THAT WAS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY. THE TECHNICIAN WORE HIS OUTDOOR BOOTS INTO THE HOUSE. HE DIDN'T MOVE A CHAIR I HAD ASKED HIM TO MOVE, BUT HE DID GO BACK AFTER I TOLD HIM ABOUT IT. JUST MADE ME FEEL LIKE I HAD TO CHECK EVERY ROOM AFTER HIM. IT TOOK A REALLY LONG TIME TO DRY. I WOULD RECOMMEND STEAMING IN THE SUMMER MONTHS WHEN WINDOWS CAN BE OPEN SO IT CAN DRY FASTER.
