CLOSET FACTORY

We are extremely happy about every aspect of our new closet from Closet Factory. Janice was simply amazing, very helpful, very knowledgeable, up front and transparent about everything, and a really nice person who was fun to work with. The design/order phase with Janice was great, she came up with the best layout of anyone else we talked with, she was thorough and professional. The install phase also went very smooth. They were prompt, fast, clean, professional, and left the site looking great. The product itself is awesome. The hardware is high quality, sturdy and smooth. The panels/shelves/drawers are very solid and look excellent. We went with an all white system with brushed nickle pulls/accessories. Overall, we would highly recommend Closet Factory.

Prompt and frequent communication was much appreciated. Steve was great to work with as we planned the project and made some adjustments. Todd did a great job with the installation and I appreciated his suggestion for changing the original plan. He was prompt and efficient with completing the job. They both did a great job of completing the project and following up with the details.

Everything went very smoothly and quick. Kelly came out and measured, sent me an estimate the next day., 2 weeks later it was installed. Everyone was professional and quick to get the work done. I had no problems at all. It is expensive, but much less than some of the competition. I love my new closet room.

The consultant was great, professional and friendly. I did have a good experience with her, and she was knowledgeable about the job and the options. She also let me know about all deals I could take advantage of at the time. I did like that they come out right away to do the consultation, instead of emailing back and forth with pictures. I had a timeline of a few weeks to get the job done, before I moved in. I do wonder if not being able to see my things was something that hindered the process, because I think the jewelry hangers, belt hangers seemed like afterthoughts instead of in the oringial planning. I do like the result, but for the money think it could've had a little more functional thought to it. Also, on the day of construction, the builder was about two hours early. That's a little TOO early for me.

Rick called to say he would be a bit late for our installation (terrible icy roads on the day of the appointment). He completed the work in a few hours ---and we are totally pleased with the results. Rick cleaned up after the installation, put up with our barky dog and was professional throughout the process. Great results for a great price.

The design was very good and she took a long time to prepare. The installers are very considerate and where also very kind and respectful to work with. The only problem I had was on final payment and eventually they corrected it and apologized

This space was about as small as possible for a closet, and was not very functional. What little space existed was poorly used and wasted. This company listened to my requests and needs carefully and devised a plan that looks great and functions well.

Great! The installers were fantastic, enjoyable to have in home, respectful and punctual. Elly was fantastic and very creative with great ideas for enhancement recommendations! My mom passed away during this time and I was very surprised and appreciative of a condolence card from the team!

The entire project went great. April was our designer and she came out to our house twice for planning and design. She also came out during the installation. The installation went really smoothly. One closet had a minor measurement off but they were able to fix it and still complete the installation before the end of the day. I'm really happy with the finished product. I LOVE my new closets. The entry way is definitely a favorite as I know have shoe storage instead of just a pile of shoes on the closet floor. I've had the closets for about a month now and everything has been working great. The closet in the master bedroom has allowed my husband and I to fit all of our clothes into one closet. Love it!

Great. From our initial planning meeting to installation all went great. Price was reasonable. Main sales lady (I think maybe she's the owner?) was fantastic -- personable and knowledgeable. Assistant who takes calls and makes appointments was great as well. Installers were professional and courteous, came and got to work efficiently. We got several bids and Closet Factory's prices were competitive with the other providers we looked at. My only complaint is that the shelves has somewhat "sharp" edges. If you scrape your knuckle over the edge putting things in or taking them out you can scratch your hands up. (I do this from time to time -- more than I'd like to. Maybe it's just me.) That's not a provider complaint as I'm sure she told me the edges were straight, but I didn't realize I'd have trouble like I do from time to time. Not a deal breaker, but a feature that is somewhat annoying at times. I know some of the other closet providers have rounded edges -- just something to think about when you're making your decision about what closet system to go with.

They are responsive. They came out perfect, polite and helpful. They also have great designs and products but they are expensive so I can't use them in the future because of the price.

Estimate appointment went very well. They actually ended up doing two drawings and took as much time as needed to make sure all our needs were met. We liked the fact the Closet Factory actually custom builds everything to fit exactly unlike other companies that have standard sizes which may leave gaps and wasted space. The materials are sturdy and solid. On the installation day they showed right on time and the install only took around and hour and a half. The installer was very friendly, helpful, and did not leave a mess. Overall a very good experience!

Elly and the install team were fantastic to work with. After contacting Closet Factory they were very quick to respond and set up an initial visit. Elly came out and she did a great job listening to what we wanted and was also able to walk us through some options we weren't aware of. She returned the designs very quickly and was very easy to work with on some modifications. We really appreciated her guidance when we weren't sure of what we needed in some of the spaces. The prices seemed very fair for the amount of work done. All pricing was broken down so we could see how much each closet was and how changes we were thinking of would affect the final pricing. Elly did a great job designing the spaces to minimize the cost when possible while keeping our needs in mind. The install team was fantastic. They were prompt, friendly and very efficient. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if we need more work done.

Very happy with results and our new closets. Everything is so neat and organized. Elly did the design and had lots of good ideas. She took measurements so that all the clothes and shoes would fit into the area that we had. We live in a mid century home with very small closets in the bedrooms. Now, everything fits and looks great. The new walk-in closet is in antique white with crown moulding and glass-like knobs - very stunning. Nancy and Sharon were of great help when I had questions on the phone. Brian, the installer does a very professional and precise job. Thanks, Closet Factory!

We are extremely pleased with our closet - primarily because of the outstanding closet design work and excellent customer service of Janice Gaut, President of the Closet Factory in Plymouth, MN. We met with another closet design competitor (California Closet), and also received an estimate of cost and design from them. Not only was Closet Factory's estimate only about half the cost of California Closet's estimate (we couldn't believe the difference), but Closet Factory's/Janice's design work, attention to detail, customer service, and the actual quality of their materials and selections were better and exceeded the competitor's. After our remodeler had finished framing in the new, extended space for the closet; Janice stopped by for another meeting with us. During that visit, Janice wanted to double-check measurements, and it was then that we realized our remodeler had made an error or an oversight in the framing of the new walls. Our new exterior wall was not going to meet and match up with the interior wall - what?! We weren't informed about it by our remodeler - so not a good surprise that our walls were going to be a different dimension than planned (off by 10 inches). We were so glad that Janice had taken the time to measure up the existing inside closet dimensions, and then compared them to the newly framed space and its measurements. Now with the true measurements in hand and working with a bump-out in the wall, she re-configured (down to the 118th of an inch) her closet design for us. She didn't leave until we were all satisfied with the adjustments in the design of our closet. Everything worked out well, and we love our new closet! We would highly recommend Janice / Closet Factory in Plymouth to anyone without hesitation.

The master closet project was fantastic from start to finish. I'd wanted to do it for a very long time, but was overwhelmed by the prospect of having to tell a designer what I wanted (how many shelves, how much hanging space, etc) and put it off for a very long time. I am so happy I called The Closet Factory because Janice is an expert and she made this process so easy and actually fun! She came over and had great examples of ideas in her many books. However, the best part was she asked questions, listened to what was not working for us today and what we wanted, and then she took action. She measured the space and measured our clothes so that we ended up with the right amount of hanging space vs. shelving as well as ensured that we maximized the space to its fullest - not an inch was wasted! She also measured how wide we fold our clothes so that our clothes fit perfectly. This was not something I ever would have thought of in advance, but I am so glad she did that because nothing would be more annoying than having a beautiful closet that was not functional with how we naturally fold clothes! She drew up the blueprint design within 30 minutes and we agreed on everything before she left out home that night. The scheduling of the job was just a couple weeks out and the crew arrived on time and completed everything in just a half a day! I stopped by to check on the progress and while I was there Janice stopped by also. It made me glad to know that she cared about the project as much as I did. The crew left everything clean and the closet looked amazing. It still does and I still enjoy walking into it every day and putting all the clothes away nicely. Everything has it's place and it has helped us stay so much more organized and neat. Janice was a pleasure to work with and I'd recommend her company to anyone. Her attention to detail ensured we got the best closet possible and her true enjoyment of what she does made the process fun vs. a chore (as most home improvements are).

I will not be using them in the future.

Excellent. Our designer, Sharon, was very professional and experienced. She was able to do an in home consultation in the evening. It took her about 2 hours to develop a custom design in our home. She was very knowledgeable about finishes, hardware, and accessories such as clothes baskets, belt and tie hangers, and general design to accomplish our goal. On the day of installation, the two gentlemen who installed our custom closet were very efficient and knowledgeable. They were prompt and on time, and had the installation completed in a little more than 4 hours.

Overall it went very well and the closet is perfect. They consulted with me on the plan and executed perfectly! Very punctual and professional.

We have a master bedroom closet that is bigger than standard, smaller than a walk-in and had angles. The company president herself came to do the estimate. She spent nearly two hours working through a number of ideas and concentrating on maximum use of space. What really impressed me was her concern about how the design would feel to my husband -- that he got a fair portion of the closet and it met his needs. She kept working until she got something that worked for both of us. And, not only on paper -- we're very pleased with the results. The installation was very smooth and we are very happy with the results.
