Description of Work: I had high hopes seeing all the great reviews for Clean and Clear. However, my experience did not live up to my expectations. First, from the reviews, I was given the impression that Keegan, the owner, would be coming to clean my windows. Instead, he sent a teenager, who was very polite and sincere, but not very experienced. I have some windows that have a screen on the outside of the window panes and have to be removed from the inside of the house before the windows can be cleaned on the outside. I directed him to come in and remove 3 of these screens, but had forgot about the 4th one. The teenager did not mention it, nor ask if I wanted that window to be cleaned, so that one window was left uncleaned. Also, after he had left, I realized the back sliding doors to the patio were also not cleaned. For this, I called and asked for them to come back and finish the work. As for the uncleaned window, I didn't see it till a few days later, and I just decided not to pursue it. I also registered my disappointment on the phone with the receptionist that Keegan didn't show up, but didn't get much in way of apology or reassurance. I felt as if my business was not that important to them. Still very disappointed.

I believe that this review needs a bit of clarification: ----- "First, from the reviews, I was given the impression that Keegan, the owner, would be coming to clean my windows." While I often do still work on homes, due to the growing size of our business, I am not able to work on every property that we have scheduled. We currently have 5 employees and multiple crews that work on any given day. ----- "He sent a teenager, who was very polite and sincere, but not very experienced. I have some windows that have a screen on the outside of the window panes and have to be removed from the inside of the house before the windows can be cleaned on the outside. I directed him to come in and remove 3 of these screens, but had forgot about the 4th one. The teenager did not mention it, nor ask if I wanted that window to be cleaned, so that one window was left uncleaned." We actually don't have any teenagers on our staff currently and all of my workers are experienced. The windows in reference are storm windows and were not included in the deal that you had purchased (clearly listed in the deal description). Even though it was not included in what you had purchased we had offered to go "above and beyond" in offering to clean a few of your storm windows for you. The issue that he was running into was that, your window was installed in such a way that it would make it extremely difficult to remove. Because the window was a very outdated storm window and was installed in a manner that made it very time consuming to remove, we were not able to continue with this additional work without charging an additional fee. He had mentioned this to you while out on the jobsite and you had told him that you were happy with what we were able to do within the price of what you had paid for the deal. Because, of this, we did not continue further with this work. ----- "Also, after he had left, I realized the back sliding doors to the patio were also not cleaned. For this, I called and asked for them to come back and finish the work." We did forget to clean the patio doors on the back of your home and I apologize for any inconvenience we caused because of this. I do want to mention however that, we did return just a few hours later (same day) to clean these doors. You were not home at the time but, they were cleaned. ----- "I didn't get much in way of apology or reassurance. I felt as if my business was not that important to them." I communicated with my employee (while he was still at your home) that he should make sure that you were completely satisfied with the work before leaving your home. He had mentioned to me that you had told him that you were happy with the work and had even asked if we could come back out to clean your gutters and do other work. To further make sure that you were happy with the work that day, I followed up myself the same day and even on the day following by phone and by email although I never received a response from you.

Goodmorning, when we showed up to your home on the day of service we saw that you had [Member Information Removed] windows. We notified you of what it would cost to clean these before going ahead with the work as, the deal you had purchased did not cover the cleaning of these types of windows as clearly listed on your purchase - "[Member Information Removed] windows and French windows can be done at an additional charge; quoted by service provider during job." We did notify you of what it would cost to have your windows cleaned before going ahead and doing the work. We do this so that our customers are able to give approval as to how much they would like to pay for their home. While we did offer you a promotional price for all of your windows (about 20 [Member Information Removed] windows), [Member Information Removed] windows have 4 panes each in them = about 80 panes total. The deal you had purchased covered only up to 20 window panes. We would not be able to offer you 4x the amount of work for the same pricing you had paid. We did still offer you a great deal for your remaining windows and had offered to clean just the amount of panes that you had paid for if you had wanted to go that route but, you had refused it. Angie's List should be able to assist you in requesting a refund (they process all payment transactions). We wish you the best.
