Eric stated in November of 2007 that it was not too late in the season to pour the driveway. As long as we kept it covered with blankets, and parked on the street for awhile, it would be fine. We notified Eric approximately 4 months later, telling him that our driveway is pocked all over, crumbling, and floods with every rainfall. A couple months went by without hearing from him. When we finally did meet with him he stated that he never should have poured the driveway that late in the season, and that he was doing a favor for our contractor. Everybody who comes to our home asks us why our driveway looks like that. It's an embarrassment to have a new, remodeled home with a driveway that is in a sorry condition. Eric said that he would fix it, that he has a reputation, and that he wants our general contractor to help him fix it. But this was 6 weeks ago and we haven't heard from him since. At one point, 6 weeks ago he asked us if we had any other work for him to do, as long as he would be at our home with his equipment, he thought he would earn some money doing another job. We just wanted the first job done right. But unfortunately it wasn't. So we're left with a brand new driveway, less than one year old, and it needs to be replaced.
Description of Work: Eric Nelson with his company Classic Concrete Services was hired as a sub contractor by our general contractor to pour a new driveway for our newly remodeled home. We paid our contractor, and our contractor paid Eric. He was also hired by our contractor to pour a front porch, and front steps. He was hired in November, 2007. The driveway was poured, along with the front porch, and two front steps.
