CHW Landscape/Design.LLC

Project went well! Met with Cathy last fall for her to understand our vision, goals, etc. She delivered a draft plan with hardscape and landscape ideas. She sourced contractors for several options and got us prices. When we selected hardscape option, she worked with contractor to ensure project was on track. Contractor started last week of May and plants in mid-June. We made multiple design changes a long the way; it was an evolution right up to the day they planted. We were thankful for Cathy’s flexibility and changing perspective as project progressed. We love the outcome!

It was fine. She contacted the company who performed the work based on her design.

Working with Cathy was great. She listened and creating a plan the really fit our wishes. She was very organized and took full responsibility for arranging the work for clearing and planting. She followed up regularly to make sure we were taking proper care of our new plants. She was really a delight to work with!

I was surprised at how knowledgeable she was about everything in my yard, and how it worked together, and what you could or couldn't change. She was extremely knowledgeable. I was totally impressed. I really appreciated her coming onto my property and just giving me a consultation without me having to buy anything.

The work is progressing wonderfully. I now have a deck with attached octagon gazebo overlooking a water feature (4 ft. stone waterfall) with new arborvite and lilacs planted. Next season we'll add gravel paths, flower beds, a fountain, and pergola. Within the next two summer seasons I'll have a little bit of Britain in Minneapolis thanks to CHW Landscape/Design.

Cathy came and looked at our back yard. She interviewed us with our likes and dislikes for our garden needs. For instance what types of plants do we like and don't like, how much time do you want to spend in the garden and what is our purpose? She came up with a plan for our space that had a variety of plan selections to choose from for each location along wtih photos of the plants so we could make our best selection. More importantly she was working with in our budget. What I liked is she gave us a growing plan. We wanted to work in one area with others to follow later on and the design plan included all of that. We made our plant selections and they were delivered at an appropriate time for planting along with great instructions and everything we needed to make our plants work in our space. It was simple and easy.

Cathy came to see what we have now and helped up design a shade garden that would have better street appeal along with teaching what plants would do better in other locations throughout existing landscape. She then designed our new fruit garden, gave us the plan, had the trees delivered with complete instructions on how to plant and take care of them for years to come. Then she came out yesterday to walk our space to see how we did, answer any questions and check on the plants and trees she sold us. What a bonus!!! you don't get that when you buy plants and flowers from let say Home Depot. We are very impressed with her knowledge and customer service!
