We decided to use Chando for repairs on storm damage to our house. After we did the contract we paid the deposit. Months go by with no communication, finally heard from a guy with Chando that says he’s going to take over as the contractor with Chando. For a few weeks I get the runaround from him and now 2+ months later and I can’t get a phone call back from this guy or the owner Christopher Chandonnet. They took our deposit, did no work and now won’t return any phone calls. It’s feels like I was lied to and they stole my money!

I was really impressed with the Sales guys that came out initially. They were responsive and worked with my insurance company to give me a quote. I opted to move forward with Chando and that's went things started to go south. The two sales guys were brought up by Chris from North Carolina to assist with the demand after our August storms. They made all sorts of promises that Chando couldn't deliver on and then left town. The install started later than quoted (understanding weather was a factor), the crew did a horrible job communicating what they were doing and when they were coming. I had to confirm things multiple times over with, the office only to find things hadn't been communicated to the crew. They disconnected my dish which resulted in me not having TV service for over a week and having to pay a service charge to get it reconnected. They also did a poor job of clean up with me finding nails, shingle pieces and plastic in my yard for quite a while time after completion. The job was finalized 2 MONTHS ago and I am trying to get the bill finalized so the insurance company can close this out. I am also owed some financial reimbursements. I have e-mailed Chris and left a number of messages. I received an initial response after which Chris was out of touch due to a family emergency. Now I can't even get a returned phone call. I understand if Chris is not available-but then someone else needs to step in to resolve this. This is totally unprofessional. According to some of the reviews, other users have been pleased with their service and quality of work but based on my experience, I could not recommend them.

Chando Construction replaced our roof and siding that was damaged from the storm last year. We didn't really know what to do or how to start with our insurance company. Chris was recommended to us by a friend that had their roof replaced. He guided us through process and made the whole process very smooth. Our siding was discontinued and we had issues with our insurance company not approving for full replacement. It was a long process and wait but today we have a brand new roof and full siding replacement. Our house looks amazing and it motivates me to do some extra renovations to my home. I would definitely recommend Chando Construction and his team! They are professional and truly cares what customer service should be like!

We hired Chando Construction in July 2017. It was a horrible mistake! We’ve been lied to, our home was damaged by them and not repaired, the work is incomplete, and they assaulted my wife. We were told that all of the work would be completed by the end of summer. Then by Labor Day. Then by the end of September. When they did our roof in August 2017, they damaged the front overhang and did not fix it. They told us that the delays were because they were negotiating with our insurance company. I’ve called the insurance company multiple times now and was told each time that they have not heard from Chando since July 10, 2017. Majority of the time if we called or texted, we never received a response. When we would receive calls from Chando saying that someone would be out the next day or in a few days, most of those times they never showed up or would cancel and reschedule and not show up again. My wife brought this up to them in September 2017 when they actually showed up. She was shoved twice and told the work would be done in two weeks. She didn’t bring this up to me right away, because she was afraid that Chando wouldn’t finish the work or wouldn’t do it correctly. It’s now April 2018. Two weeks ago we sent them a written complaint so there was no misunderstanding of how upset we are and how poor their service is. Still no response. Just one more reminder that they just don’t care.

We have been out to your property this fall, started home improvements and now the weather is cooperating we can get back to working on homes. We at no time shoved anyone, and to say we wouldn't do the work correctly is just surreal. Many homeowners understand how long this process has taken as thousands and thousands of homeowners are in your position. Making false allegations of this nature will not be taken lightly and we will not put you ahead of other customers because your making things up just so you can get ahead of other customers. That is not fair to our other customers who have been waiting just as long as you and understand the process. The quality of the work we already did, upgrading you from your 25 year old 3 tab worn out roof to a lifetime Atlas select architectural shingle against streaking labor and materials, and you give us a D rating just goes to show who you truly are and people who read this review will see right through the nonsense. The price is a D and we didn't even charge you for an upgrade like most other contractors do. Everyone at chando construction conducts themselves with the up most respect for our customers. I am truly sorry your patience has ran out but to blame us or act like we can speed up the insurance company is absolutely unfair. The work in question is painting. WE can not paint in the winter."

I contacted Chando Construction right after our house was damaged in a hail storm. Chris was very quick to come and look over the house. He was very easy to work with and walked us through each step. Everything was done in a timely, professional manner and everyone who worked on the house/represented the company was very courteous. We have had several neighbors compliment the work. We would definitely use Chando Construction again.

It went wonderful!! I would hire Chris and his crew anytime again. The job was done very good timing and very nice job. The warranty has paid off also. Chris did an overall look at the roof and siding to make sure all was done right and the clean up was done right. I was very impressed on how fast they got everything DONE in a proper timing. Was so very happy we didn't have to repair it all ourselves. Our house is a very tall two story and none of our family wanted to shingle it so Chris took care of that. Chris also took care of getting me the proper paper work to get to the insurance company. VERY VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!! Thanks, Chris and your crew.
