Jim was very concerned with our project because of how dead our trees were. He came to our property a few times to assess the situation. We only trust Jim to do our tree work though and knew that he would be the one to figure it out. The day of the work they were there when they said they were going to be. Jim is ALWAYS on site during the job and is doing work. He is there person who comes for the estimate, does the work, climbs the trees, etc. That says a lot about a business! They had to bring in a bucket truck to our backyard due to how dead our oaks were. They were careful and put down plywood on our yard. The job was completed when they said it would be. We have referred him to many people. The neighbors all around us have used him now and are very pleased. He will be back in the spring to do more work for us once we removed a swing set.

Central Minnesota Tree Service exceeded our expectations. Jim is very easy to work with. All work was done professionally and efficiently by Jim and his crew. We were mentally preparing ourselves for work afterwards like filling holes where trees were removed, restoring landscaping rock, etc. Not necessary!! We can continue with our regular fall cleanup like nothing happened. Very fair price for excellent work!

They did the work exactly as I had asked and cleaned up nicely. They gave a good price. This is the second time I have used them and I will definitely use them again.

Arrived at 8:15 am with 4 trucks, a chipper and stump guide, a bob cat and a crew of 5. After looking at the trees (in back yard) they laid 4x8 plywood from the street to the back for the Bob Cat to run on. They used a bucket crane to take the Maple tree down and top off the oak. With the guy in the bucket using ropes and chain saws, they were down to the stump by 11:30. The Cat removed logs and debris to the street to be hauled away or chipped. By noon all wood gone and guys raked yard and hauled away plywood. The Oak was huge! The crew worked very hard and Obviously knew what they were doing.The crew, the equipment, and the timing were A++++!!! This is an excellent company and we would highly recommend them to everyone. (They also were 1/2 the price of our other quotes.)

While I wish they had gone through my neighbor's empty lot like they'd originally planned, I'm happy they were able to fit me in their schedule with fairly short notice and on what ended up being a fairly rainy morning. Everything was done and cleaned up long before I got home. The mound of woodchips and dirt remaining after the stumps were ground out was larger than I'd anticipated. The cleanup could have been a bit more thorough, but overall great service for the price.

They did a great job and are very reasonably priced. If you did not know that huge tree had been there, you would never know it. They did a very thorough job of cleaning up the area. The tree that was trimmed looks like a new tree. They were great to work with and very good about coming in and getting the job done in a short period of time. No hassles or fuss.

If there were an A+ rating, that's what they would get from me. One of my huge silver maple trees was showing signs of rotting at the main branches. I was worried it would fall in a storm. I got three estimates, and Central Minnesota Tree Service came in as the middle-priced bid. I decided to go with them because of their reviews, they responded to a phone call quickly, they're close geographically (so they're not figuring in a lot of travel time) and the fact that they use their own employees and don't use subs. They showed up at the time and day they said they would, with so much equipment I could hardly believe it. They put down plywood for the cherry-picker truck to roll onto so that the soil would not get overly compacted. I went out a few times to see the progress. I was impressed by the work and by the safety precautions Jim used so his workers (and my house) would be safe. The stump was completely ground down, and every scrap raked up and carted away. Wow! I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Central Tree Service cut down 2 balsam trees and a big maple tree, plus stump removal for 5 trees. With our wet spring, they delayed our service for awhile but kept us informed. They said they would be at our house at 8:30, and they were on time. They avoided our power lines & our garden by cutting the maple tree branch by branch, carefully lowering the limbs when necessary. Our maple tree had extensive roots above the ground, and they ground them away. Spent 1.5 ? 2 hours cleaning up and removing all of the trees limbs and chips. My husband cut down a small tree the day before ? they removal that stump for free and hauled the tree away. We highly recommend Central Tree Service for their professional service.

Jim was out to quote the project when he said he would, we booked the project several months into the future to allow the ground to freeze ( to minimize damage from the large branches and trunks falling) The project was performed as quoted and expected. Everything with Central MN Tree went like clockwork. Highly recommend.

Jim was fantastic to work with. I started looking into tree trimming a bit late into the year for Oak Trees, but Jim was able to move his schedule around to help me out on short notice. He provided a quote for the service within a day of the initial call and laid out exactly what it was going to cost to trim the trees. Central Minnesota Tree Service arrived on the day Jim stated and started work immediately. The work was done quickly, only a couple of hours from start to finish. We have a sandbox under both of the trees being trimmed and one of the branches that came off the tree did crack the top board of the sandbox. Jim and his crew repaired the sandbox the same day and followed up two days later to stain the repair. Overall, I was extremely pleased with his work and responsiveness and I would highly recommend him and his company for future work. I have several other trees on the property that will need trimming in the next couple of years and I will be using Central Minnesota Tree Service again.

It went well. They came out a week before to give mean an estimate. They did a good job. I have used Central Tree Service several times in the past and have been very happy with their service. This is a good looking tree. They have trimmed it for me in the past, and it's got a good shape to it now. They do a good job including clean-up. Plus I like it that they are very knowledgeable about trees.

The crew arrived just before 9, scoped out the site and started work. They climbed the damaged tree, which was decaying, and cut it down one piece at a time. Being skilled professionals, they were able to make sure that all of the pieces -- some of which were large and heavy enough that when they hit the ground, I could feel the impact from inside the house -- fell on open ground, away from cable TV lines and far from the ornamental hedge we had planted below the tree. The crew worked quickly and safely, getting the tree debris out of the yard with a bobcat, and cleaning up very professionally. The next task was to trim the neighboring box elder tree, which was in a complicated location, leaning over a carefully landscaped slope with small ornamental trees and plantings. Again, the crew climbed up, cut branches, and arranged for the branches to fall at a distance on open ground. Even the snow under the tree was not disturbed. Last, the crew brought a ladder to make precision cuts to the ornamental crabapple, which is a highly visible tree right next to the house. The branches had to be trimmed away from the house roof, the neighbor's property, and the power lines over the patio. The crew worked quickly, quietly, and safely to take out branches. When I came out to inspect and make a couple of special requests, Jim did not hesitate to accommodate the requests immediately. All told, the crew was with us for about 4-5 hours. The highest praise I can give for tree work is that when it's done, the trees are healthy and they don't look different in any memorable way, just better. Central Minnesota Tree Service did a terrific job. We have used them before and I would not hesitate to use them again.

It went GREAT! Arrived on time, finished on time, left everything clean, very professional.

I saw them on Angie's List. They're pretty hard to get to. We had to dig out the backyard because he couldn't get his truck back there. They work year-round when they're called. I had a couple of quotes for this job and they just came in out of the right price. I have used them before in Angie's List to do some work for me. He is very professional and he is a certified arborist. He has a great team. It seemed like they worked pretty hard. He has the best equipment which helps. They can do difficult jobs. There was a big storm last year and he just told me what I needed to get done. He didn't push anything which I appreciated.

Very good experience. Arrived on time for both the estimate and the performance of the work. All work done as promised and for the price quoted. Very polite staff. They did a nice job cleaning up, with no damage to the yard.

Great-they were done in 1-2 hours. I scheduled the trimming a few weeks ago and Jim,the owner, said it is best to do the trimming in the fall. After a reminder that we are approaching the end of October, and that I want to be home when they are doing the work, they took care of the problem. We've used this tree service for many years and have been pleased with their results-they take care to cover the lawn with plywood (when working in my large back yard) and do a good clean-up job. These guys are professional and work safely. The owner, Jim, is always on the job with his crew.

Although they were very busy, they were responsive and were on the job when they said they would be. Jim is a real pro and provides clear explanations and practical solutions. They did a great job for a very competitive price. I would use them again.

The June storms caused some damage to 2 ash trees in our yard. We called 2 companies for quotes to trim the trees and Central Minnesota was significantly less than the other company. Jim explained in detail the work they would do, but he advised us that as a result of the storms they were backed up at least 5 to 6 weeks. It was about 8 weeks when he called to schedule the work, but we had a conflict and needed to reschedule. He called again a week later and they came out the following day. We walked through the project one more time and they got to work. We are very pleased with the work they did. The trees look better than they ever have. They did an excellent job cleaning up and even disposed of some branches that I had picked up and trimmed earlier. We couldn't be happier with their work. Jim was very professional and it is clear that he takes great pride in his work.

Had 3 LG trees that needed to be trim/thinned. Jim responded very quickly and wanedt to come out that same evening to do an estimate. We had plans for the evening and when we returned unfortunately/fortunately for us, someone else was in the neighborhood doing our neighbors trees and came over and did an estimate for us and we went with them. Jim seemed very professional and responsive to our needs. We just went with what seemed to work for us.

Jim and has crew have provided outstanding service on all three occasions that we have used them and their pricing has been reasonable. They have performed in a professional manner each time. We explained what we needed done and also sought out Jim's advice. All of the services that we requested were carried out promptly and skillfully. They cleaned up all debris. With the recent storms, a tree had fallen from our yard partially on a neighbor's property. We called Jim late Tuesday. Although he and his crew were extremely busy, Jim said he would send a crew within the next few days. We were thrilled when his crew arrived the very next day. With all of the work that they have had to do as a result of the storms, that was excellent service, above and beyond what anyone might expect. We highly recommend Jim and his crews for any tree trimming and removal. We already have some additional projects for them when the initial emergency storm damages are cleared. Thanks Jim!

We received a phone call promptly after placing a request for an estimate and within a few days received the estimate. We were given a time frame of 7-10 days but the next day received a phone call that they could come within 2 days to complete the job. They were in and out within a few hours and did a great job. Would highly recommend them to anyone!

They were great. We received our estimate right on the spot. He did not try to sell us services we did not need. The pricing was better than our other estimate.

Sentral MN Tree Service did an outstanding job. Very proffessional work. Brought cherry picker truck, chipper truck, a smaller lawn friendly Bobcat, large crew and all the typical tools.All work was done very well. They spent several hours trimming everything. The cleaned up my entire yard when work was done. The even raked the minor tracks the Bobcat left, so well that we couldn't see them. We felt the price was very fair. Other estimates were higher with us doing some of the work. Central MN Tree Service did it all for a very fair price. I would not hesitate to use them again.
