Everything I asked about I was told they didn't do. He kept mentioning that they were too busy with "all of the elm trees."

The arborist came out that night and missed his son's soccer game to look at the tree. The price was good - and there was not a speck or a leaf left. The clean up was amazing. The entire experience was great.

James returned my call promptly and was able to come out within a short time, to give an estimate. He listened to what I wanted and offered good advice. The work was scheduled, within two weeks. He and his crew arrived when expected and completed the work, within a few hours. All the work was done, as discussed. As the job neared the end, I noticed that James spent quite some time looking at the trees, removing even the smallest of branches, that I might not even have noticed. The trees look better than ever!

Called for an estimate, got one within couple days. Once I decided to go with them, they actually did the job the next day as they would be in the neighborhood already.

I called for a quote on a Tuesday. James called back within two hours to set up an estimate for the following day. James was right on time for the estimate and was very knowledgeable. We had originally wanted to trim a crabapple tree at the same time but he said that we should wait for fall to trim fruit trees. He didn't give a specific date for when the work would be done, but said that they would be out the following week and he would call me a day or so before they came out. They came out on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week and took care of both ash trees beautifully. All of the dead stuff was gone and the trees look better than ever. I don't think we lost any shade, either. James was with the crew. Their cleanup was excellent.

James came out on my requested date to give us an estimate. He gave us a written estimate right on site. We called back the next day and we were able to schedule the work for the next week. James was wonderful to work with, friendly, and answered all of our questions. The work was done extremely well and efficiently!

The owner came out the same afternoon I called to look at the tree and provide an estimate. The team was out approximately a week later with an incredible array of equipment. Bucket trucks, huge mulching machines, log-grabbing tractors, etc. They took the tree down piece-by-piece, working their way down to the main trunk, using ropes every step of the way to swing things just the way they wanted them. Despite all the heavy machinery and falling a rather large tree, there is practically no damage to the surrounding area. Except for the bare patch of ground, you would never know that the tree or the tree service had ever been there. One neighbor watched throughout the process and commented on how careful they were, and another has already contacted them to do some trimming for her. I would highly recommend this company.

Getting a quote was quick and easy but not very detailed. When we decided to go with Jim, he got us scheduled much sooner than I expected. He started one afternoon and finished the following morning. He did what I wanted, quickly and neatly. He took off more than I was expecting but the end result was very nice.

The tree removal was excellent. The large spruce tree was very close to the house and was removed without mishap. The crab apple tree was trimmed and shaped nicely. The maple was trimmed much more drastically than I expected, but I think they were trying to keep any future growth from getting near the house. Clean-up was OK, but I expected more perfection in that area. Their wood chipper was set up in the street in front of my house, and I had to sweep up the street and my driveway after they left. Many twigs, bits of evergreen, and wood chips were left around the yard. James Savre, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. He provided a detailed work proposal. The work was completed ahead of schedule.

3 tree services submitted bids for the removal of the tree (including grinding the stump). Jim Savre of Minnesota Tree Service offered the lowest bid. Jim and his crew arrived at the agreed-upon date and time. They worked quickly and were very courteous. They were careful to avoid damaging the lawn and a nearby fence. They cleaned up the lawn when finished. I was very pleased with the work and would recommend them for similar jobs.

They did an excellent job; nice work and very professional. They were half the price of some other tree services and he didn't try to sell me on other services that I did not need.

The owner came out promptly and did the estimate quickly (it was very cold then). He was very low keyed; no hard sell! It had the major components, but was not as well detailed as another one (e.g., thickness of branches to be removed; process), so I called for more detail. Their bid was less than half the other bid. Four men arrived in the morning and worked until about 2:00 until 2:30. The owner was present and working throughout, spoke to my neighbor about using the adjoining driveway before starting (I appreciated that)! They used a top-notch bucket truck for high trimming. The owner recalled our conversation and included those items. They trimmed a lot of dead wood and some overlapping branches, and raised the canopy substantially on the Elm and Maple. I added the Balsam to the job, and price was very fair. I was consulted, he gave good advice when asked, and was easy to work with. My trees are mostly old and large. They did a lot of work, efficiently, for a very reasonable price!

These guys are great. They were punctual, professional, and price competitive. We live in Minneapolis and their price was substantially lower then some of the local arborist. In addition to removing the tree, these guys removed a couple old clothes posts at no additional cost. Great to work with.

I has used this company before. I called for an estimate. They remembered me. The estimate was prompt and in the range I expected. I hired them again without obtaining second estimate. They did the job, cleaned up, and left. I'll use them again if the need arises.

Jim and crew were very careful not to damage a nearby screen porch and other trees - lowered almost all pieces by rope. They completed the job in an hour and a half, and cleaned up everything very nicely - with rakes, then blower.

James, the owner, was on site the whole time. The team of four worked well together and all was accomplished in about four hours. I am so pleased. It is the first time I really have been happy with workers at my home. They cleaned up perfectly. Anyone needing this service will have no worries with James and his team.

The group was fast and courteous. They came out to take the tree down with a large crew, as they had other work in my area. They made quick work of most of the tree, then a storm came through and they had to stop. Thankfully they were out again the next day to finish the work. The tree was dropped without incident, and without any real damage to the lawn. I was very impressed with their work, and would hire them again any time.

I would recommend Central Tree Service highly. When I first contacted them, I was told they would come take a look and leave an estimate. When they were unable to fulfill that appointment, they called immediately to reschedule. When they were on site, they made a very reasonable quote, which I accepted on the spot. The work was done on the agreed upon day and looked great when I came home that night! I had no trouble at all the the work was great. Made my life and my lawn so much nicer. If you need stump grinding, give these guys a call!

CENTRAL MINNESOTA TREE SERVICE did an excellent job. They called before they came, worked quickly and efficiently, and left absolutely no trace of the tree. We were very pleased with the service and the value.

Since I knew that Central Minnesota Tree Care had good ratings in Angie's List, I assumed they would provide great service at a good price. My high expectations were exceeded once I saw their cleanup. The yard was a jumble of limbs and branches when they were working. When they were complete, it looked as if they were never here. The lawn was immaculate! Great work.

Provided excellent information in a written estimate. They came out to evaluate the tree the day after I called. They left me a phone message to tell me that the tree was unsafe, which I appreciated knowing as soon as possible. I chose a different company based on price.

Jim's bid was lowest of three. Work was done promptly the next week, just as he had proposed. Yard was neatly raked after work was completed.

Jim was WONDERFUL. He called me back right away and was able to come out the next day to give me a quote. We were going to put our house on the market in one week, so we needed to get the work done quickly and as cleanly as possible. Jim's quote was at least 250 dollars less than the other quotes I had gotten. They were right on time and got the work done quickly and efficiently WITHOUT HURTING THE LAWN or any of the sprinkler heads. The were very careful of the septic system too...taking care not to drive any heavy equipment over it. They did an amazing job... they even cleaned up all of the wood chips from the grass. I would hire them again in a second, and recommend them to anyone I know.

Quick response to my voice message. They came out and wrote up an estimate the same day without me even needing to be there (this was a simple job). Once I called and said I wanted it done they gave me a date to do it, came out and did exactly what they said and when they said they would do it. Again, I didn't even need to be there. They simply mailed me the bill. Prompt, pleasant and professional, would definitely use again.
