One of the estimates sent by email was missing and I selected another company to do the work when I didn't receive the revised invoice. Jim called to follow up and explained it had gotten tangled up in the email. If I had not hired another company I would have been comfortable hiring Central.

Joe worked around our schedules to provide estimate and do work, They arrived when promised and finished the job when promised. They did exactly what we agreed on, plus more for the agreed on amount. They cleaned up every scrap from the location of the chipper and even the smallest twigs from the area they piled the material to be chipped. Pleasant and professional, I would not think of using anyone else for any service this company could provide.

Jim came out the same day with an estimate. The work was scheduled out about two weeks. They called the night before and were at the site at the agreed upon time. They worked for about four hours, did what they said they were going to do, and cleaned up the site. Very good to work with. Understands his business very well and communicates effectively with the customer.

Jim came out in August to give me an estimate. He is a very nice and trustworthy guy. When the work was done the crew was here on time and very nice. We have had a lot of tree work done in the past and this was by far the best service/work we have received. They actually got all the dead wood out, unlike our previous experience. The clean up was great. We will never use any other company and have already referred them to neighbors.

I have an old and very tall Ash tree just inside my backyard which shades my house, garage, and patio. It needed to be trimming up away from roof tops and wires, and there was a lot of deadwood high up in the tree that needed to be removed. Jim and is coworker did a great job. They arrived on time, were very professional, and did the job in about 2.5-3 hours. They had the equipment to get up into the tree and were very careful in handling the branches coming down. I was very pleased with the work they did. They also did an excellent job of cleaning everything up afterwards. You could hardly tell they had been here.

Jim was on time for the estimate and the day of the actual work. The date the work was performed was moved back twice due to rain making the grond too soft - Jim did not want his equipment to damage our yard. Our 3 trees were trimmed - they climed the trees and cut the branches so no need to bring heavy equimpment into the yard. They cleaned up the branches and leaves before they left. They did a very good cleanup job. Our garden had become overgrown over many years. They cut down all the growth and ground the stumps and roots. They left the garden looking like a plowed field. The power equipment they used did not do any damage to our yard. This company is on time, is pleasant to deal with, did a good job and cleaned up well before they left. I recommend them to others.

They were very good. They knew what they were talking about. They were fast and cleaned everything up. So there wasn?t any mess. I would use them again in future.

Great. Jim was prompt returning calls, coming by for the estimate, and his crew did great work with a difficult removal of an extremely large elm tree. Every thing went perfectly well. We had used this company for tree work several years ago and wanted to use them again. In the end the decision was especially easy since the estimated cost was also the lowest bid out of 4 tree companies. We especially appreciated his empathy with our unhappiness about having to remove this beautiful large old elm tree.

The company answered my call promptly, and I was able to schedule an appointment for an proposal a couple of days later. I accepted the proposal on the next Friday, and they were able to get a crew out by Monday morning. They were at my house by 8 a.m. and done by 10:30 a.m. No muss, no fuss, and I will definitely use Central Minnesota Tree Service again.

An appointment was set for tonight. No one came and there was no call for a cancellation.

This is our second use of Jim's great handiwork. Jim came to our house 2 weeks prior and gave us a free estimate. Jim and his partner have commercial grade equipment and approach their work with safety foremost in mind. They cleaned up to the point that no one would have noticed they were even on the premises. Jim is your guy -- call him today.

I was at home when I called him to get an estimate and he came over to my house within half an hour of my calling him. He made it happen quickly and that was convenient to me. He provided me a quote immediately that was within the range I had thought it was going to be and we decided to sign the contract that day itself. He took care of the job within a week and a half. The quality of work was good. He was responsive and professional. I would recommend him to someone else who could use him.

Part of a large 30 foot tree blew down in the wind last week. The rest of the tree was diseased and weak. Jim came, on time, to provide a quote for his services. It was much less than I expected. He also offered to remove the stump of another tree that was remaining from a previous removal. His crew came a few days later, as promised, and removed the down tree, removed the other tree stump, trimmed some dead branches off a third tree on the property and also cleared out a small bush that had died. He included all of these extra services at no additional cost. The cleanup was superb, with no sign of any debris remaining. He even provided a stamped return envelope for the payment. In my book, this was the finest example of exceeding customer expectations that I have seen in the last three years. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them as a high quality, customer and service oriented operation.

Went well. They delivered what they promised.

Prompt response to request for estimate. Best price with fewest conditions. Needed to wait for state of MN to lift ban on moving heavy equipment but received a call from supplier before I expected advising that ban had been lifted and they responded immediately to provide the service I had requested. Great job with clean-up. They even repositioned a section of fence that they had initially said I would need to take care of myself.

Jim was able to come out and give me an estimate the day after I called. He was very informative about the work he was going to do, explaining how his crew would need to remove a panel of fencing to get their machinery into the yard and explained that they would replace the panel when finished. He gave me an estimate for cutting down the tree and explained that I could cut about $50 off the cost if they left the stump, but he recommended removing it. I had another estimate the next day which was for $225 more! I called Jim back and he said he'd call me in a couple of weeks once the ground dried out a little bit. A few days later he called again and said he had a crew working in my neighborhood so they could come out the same day if it was convenient and then get the heavy equipment out to grind out the stump and remove the bigger logs a few days later. I agreed that would be fantastic, and the crew came to cut down the tree that afternoon. They did an excellent job of clearing away all the brush and smaller logs. They came out a few days later and removed the stump and large logs. Apart from a little sawdust, it looks as if I'd never had a tree there. These guys do excellent work for a fair price.

Excellent service. Jim arrived promptly for estimate. Work was delayed several days because of inclement weather. Trimming and bush removal with clean-up took aproximately 1-1/2 hours. Clean-up was superb! They took away branches which were already laying on the yard before there arrival.

They were on time and their quality of service was good.

I called them to prune my flowering crab tree, which was getting too big for me to prune myself. While there, he recommended the lilacs, river birch and hackberry could use some trimming too. All services were included in the one price.

They had an arborist. He was very professional, we had called about getting all of our trees trimmed and he advised us to wait until a certain time of the year for our fruit tree. Price wise they were very competive with other companies. They did great work and cleaned up very well. You couldn't tell they were here other than our trees were trimmed.

It all went very well. I called the company on October 23. The boss came out on October 24th and gave me the estimate. I had not gotten other estimates, but from information from friends I felt that his estimate was reasonable. I asked him to do the work. He said he could probably do it the next week. He called October 28th to confirm that the 29th was OK for me. It was. I was not present for the removal, but when I got home from work the job was done.

I had hired this company in the spring to trim 2 large Marshall Ash trees and they did an excellent job. Neighbors commented on how good the tress looked after trimming. At that time they could not trim the Oak trees because of the possibility of them getting Oak Wilt. Called them in October to do the Oak trees and received an estimate. Several days of rain required the job to be rescheduled. The owner called me each time to discuss the rain delay and to reschedule the work for another day. Very good communications. They did a great job of trimming the trees, but their clean up of the cut branches was a little lax. A number of small branches were left on the ground and small cut branches kept falling out of the trees for several days.

They are very good to work with. They were knowledgeable with the trees we have. They explained what they were going to do and why they were going to do it. They were prompt did the work, cleaned up after themselves and were gone.

Showed up on time for the estimate. Price was acceptable and appointment was set up for following Monday. Monday came and went nobody showed up and no phone call. We called them on Tuesday and was informed that they would not be able to do the work for at least two weeks. We found another contractor to do the work and canceled the job.
