He did a very good job. I am in my 80s and felt very comfortable with him in my home. He was very trustworthy and knew what he was doing. I would highly recommend him and would use him again if I needed him. His name is Tom Larson.

I had it done because I was moving. It went very well. He was very polite, clean and on time. I would recommend him. I was very pleased with him. He was pretty casual but he was good.

As can be expected from Cady, consistently high-quality work on multiple types of repairs. I called at 7 a.m. with concern of a leaking kitchen drainpipe (and tacked on two smaller, lower-priority problems) and got a return call from the owner (Paul) within an hour, assuring I could get service that day and a return call from the technician (Tom L) soon. That I did, and Tom arrived by 1:45, 15 minutes sooner than his earlier estimate. We discussed the problems and he examined the three areas (under-sink kitchen plumbing, bathroom wall tile, and bathroom sink). He removed the source of the kitchen leak (bad seal and cracked pipe elbow), fixed the slow-draining bathroom sink straightaway, and asked whether I wanted a quicker, cheaper glue fix or a more permanent grout repair for the ceramic tile. I opted for the latter, and Tom left for plumbing parts and grout. He got everything done within 2.5 hr, including the trip to the local hardware store. The repairs went as they should, and the tile repair is clean and professional-looking. I like Cady Handyman for their versatility, good work, and ability to respond within 36 hours to most problems. The only minor complaint I have is the tech failed to include the trip charge on the invoice, which prompted a call from him and our having to write a second check. However, he was very apologetic and volunteered to get the payment at a time and place convenient to us.

I called and was able to get an electrician out within a couple of days and he arrived on-time. Ben replace two non-working sockets and one other one that had become hot to the touch. Ben explained why this had happen and suggested ways to prevent it from happening in the future. Plus I asked him additional questions about adding outlets and electric heat to my upstairs. He was very helpful and also gave me an estimate on the cost of the additional service. I am very pleased with all the services I received from Cady Handyman Services. Thank you.

Because of the size of the window, 2 workers were required. The first worker arrived on time and began removing the siding. The second worker arrived later. After the window was removed, we found some leaking into the building that required repair. I felt the workers were more interested in getting done as fast possible than doing a correct job. I spent a lot time there after watching. I had to constantly "debate" the workers as to what I wanted done. They didn't want to remove as much vinyl siding to wrap the area before the window was installed. They also insisted on flashing the window the way they thought was correct. Having visited many new construction sites, I knew they weren't following best practices (using sill flashing instead of just folding over building wrap, insisting on using sealing tape over bottom of window fin etc). I felt the workers were not up to date on industry best practices. Cady is expensive. $90/hour. You'd get much better value getting a professional window installer. I will not use Cady again.

I liked them because they were on time and they were respectful. They were neat. They are up front about their cost, so you know what you are going to be paying. Each person that we have dealt with has been really pleasant. They are professional and reliable.

They did a good job. They came right away and they were quick. They were professional over the phone. They seemed to understand what I needed. They followed up to make sure that I was satisfied. They were on time.

He did a beautiful job. He was on time to the minute. He was fast. I would use him many more times. They got back with me the same day I called. They made an appointment that day. It was a good experience also.

We had to call a few times to get a real response, and there seemed to be communication issues internally (primary contact forgot that she'd talked to us, then later was confused that no one had followed up to schedule). They were very punctual once a time was set, and the handyman was quite nice as a person and knowledgeable. The toilet snake operation itself cost $80, and there was a $42 "trip charge", which seemed excessive. We live on the other side of Minneapolis from the company's location - not the other side of the metro.

Contacted company to come out and do an estimate. They said someone would come out near the end of the week to give me an estimate however they never showed up. They didn't contact me either. When I called to inquire why they didn't come to do the estimate I had to leave a message. No one ever got back to me.

The experience with them turned out to be awful. They were just terrible. My husband was in the hospital. They charged me $500 for the work and I provided them with everything else. They were really awful. They kept coming and going. I calmed down and talked to them eventually. It was ridiculous what they did and the price that they charged for putting a door on. I?ll not use them again, not even if they were the last people in the world.

Both the in-office person scheduling my appointment and the handyman were very professional and personable. They were very responsive to my rush request and I'm happy to have found a one stop service for a variety of things around the house. Now that I've seen the good work they do, I plan to contact them for electrical work and indoor painting projects I have coming up in the near future.

I called and left a message and I expected to be called that day but I got called the next week. The guy arrived on time. He was prompt and professional.

My experience with him went well. His price was very good and fair; I don?t have any complains about that. Everything went fine with him. I even told him that I was really happy that I had hired him for the job. He did the job and there were no leaks; it doesn?t happen with me, usually, when I do the work. He charged me $200 for the installation of the disposal and the faucet. He did a pretty good job. However, I think he could?ve tightened the faucets a little tighter, before he left. I had to move it around to get it where I wanted it to be. Then, I had to remove one of the faucets and reheat it and then tighten it. So, if only he could?ve tightened the faucets correctly, then he would have done a perfect job. Again, I had to go out and get some more supply lines. I thought he would?ve carried the supply lines with him; I think maybe, he couldn?t carry them. He doesn?t charge much, so maybe, he can?t carry a bunch of parts, I think. He certainly knew what to do, though. He was very responsive and punctual. I didn?t have any problems with him and I?d certainly use him in the future.

I needed to have the hardware on my windows removed in order to have them painted and discovered the day before the painters arrived that many of the screws had been stripped and I wasn't able to remove them on my own. I called Cady and they were the only handyman service (after calling at least 5 other places) that could come and do the work on short notice. The handyman that they sent was very nice, and worked for approximately 3 hours removing and then replacing all of the sash locks and security locks on my windows. The windows are very old and many of them do not close as tightly as they should, so the old locks couldn't close properly. The handyman fixed each of the window so that all of the locks now close properly.

It went well. The handyman was prompt, efficient and careful.

Terrible. These people should not be on Angie's list. They did not send an estimate and Mark Cady who started the business does not work here anymore.

John Meyer(project manager) arrived at the house. We discussed the multiple aspects of the Bathroom remodel. He confirmed that this is something the company is capable of. He stated he would contact me via email. After 5 business days I emailed him and he stated he was trying to get information on our spa tub to replace the hardware. I had given him the company name and number. I waited 10 days after that email and he stated he was still not done. I called the number regarding our spa tub to see if the information was difficult to obtain, but the first person I spoke with helped me with every question. So I once again emailed Cady Handyman and after 1 month I still have not heard from anyone.

I called and spoke to Donna. She had Ben call me within a few minutes and he arrived in 45 minutes. Very polite and friendly. There were no issues whatsoever. He was informative and helpful. I will definitely call again. Thanks!!

I called in the morning and they had someone out here within hours. I got a call that they would be a little late (still pretty fast in my book!) so they obviously respect my time. The gentleman they sent was very professional, very capable, and very fast. I'd have had him do more work if the parts had been available.

Another great experience with Cady's. We have been pleased with their multiple skills and services. I had a four-repair list for them to do, and one of them, a leaky bathtub faucet, became a priority when the faucet finally wouldn't turn shut. I called at 7 a.m. and was able to get service by at 10:00. Ben tended to the worst leak first, and when he found out we needed a replacement stem, we worked it so I could fetch the part while he did the other tasks. Great communication when I discovered the first specialty plumbing store didn't have the needed part; he directed me to another store. He fixed leaks in two faucets (one indoor, one out), leveled a "creeping" bedroom door, and caulked woodpecker holes in our cedar shakes in about an hour and a half. He kept me aware of his progress and diagnoses, and we discussed methods for dealing with woodpecker-caused siding damage.

Very responsive from the start and answered all of my questions. Determined that the work we needed done required a master electrician. Were very flexible when I called back and added some more work that needed to be done. Scheduled work within one week. Electrician arrived on time, worked very quickly and was very neat about cleaning up. He was great about giving advice about what we needed to do and what was un-necessary. Very easy to work with. I would use them again without question!

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. The person who took my call was helpful and pleasant, and the estimate provided over the phone was very close to the final cost. Ben, the electrician, arrived on time, assessed the project and was patient with my decisions and questions about the one difficult fan installation. The difficult fan had to be installed in the finished upper story of my 1 1/2 story house... over an open stairwell, and in a pitched roofline. There were a number of issues with that installation, and Ben checked in with me at several decision points. Other than that, he went right to work. The other fans and overhead fixture were pretty standard, and he finished them quickly. I was very pleased with Ben's professionalism and wouldn't hesitate to recommend his work to family and friends. I will definitely call Cady again if I need help with projects around the house. This project would have taken me a whole weekend, and took Ben 3 hours.

He was very friendly. We had no idea what to expect and so he took my husband to the hardware store. The cost does not include the hardware as he went to the store with my husband to pick out the items needed - this was just for the labor in replacing the toilet.
