+ -1 moreTHE TOTAL WAS BEYOND OUR MEANS AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER, EACH TIME I SPOKE TO BRIAN HE WAS VERY CORDIAL AND POLITE.
Description of Work: A VERY PROFESSIONAL, DETAILED PROPOSAL WAS SUBMITTED REGARDING THE DEMOLITION AND BUILDING OF A NEW GARAGE.

+ -1 moreTHE ONLY CONCERN I HAD WAS THAT THEY GOT DISTRACTED WITH OTHER JOBS OVER THE COURSE OF THE SUMMER AND WERE SO INVESTED IN THE PRODUCT THAT TOWARD THE END OF THE PROCESS THEY SEEMED TO NEGLECT INFORMING ME OF DECISIONS. IT WAS OCTOBER BEFORE THE JOB FINISHED AFTER A MAY START TIME. IT TOOK QUITE A WHILE FOR THEM TO REMOVE BUILDING SUPPLIES AND A SECTION OF THE YARD DIED. BECAUSE OF THE DELAY THEY DECIDED TO PAINT THE STUCCO AND I DIDN'T WANT THAT. THE STUCCO WAS TINTED GRAY BECAUSE THAT WAS THE BEST OPTION AND IT LOOKED GOOD. DIDN'T NEED PAINTING AND I WAS SURPRISED TO FIND PAINTERS AT WORK ONE DAY WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK.
Description of Work: I WANTED TO BUILD A 1 1/2 CAR GARAGE ON A NARROW CITY LOT. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE ATTENTION GIVEN TO DETAILS, WITH NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS ABOUT MATERIALS AND SIDING. I HAD AN IMAGE OF WHAT I WANTED, BUT BRIAN DIRECTED ME TO GO TO VARIOUS BUILDING SUPPLY COMPANIES AND OTHER HOMES TO CHECK OUT VARIOUS PRODUCTS. HE OFFERED REAL STUCCO AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO HARDIEPANELS WITHOUT RAISING THE BID. HE FANNED OUT THE DRIVEWAY ON BOTH SIDES TO ALLOW FOR TURNING. WHEN THE BASIC STRUCTURE WAS COMPLETED AND THEY CUT THE TRUSS ENDS OFF (BECAUSE THE BID INCLUDED SOFFITS) I POINTED OUT THAT ON A RAINY MORNING IT WOULDN'T BE PLEASANT TO UNLOCK THE SIDE DOOR WITH RUNOFF SHEETING DOWN. ONCE AGAIN HE CONSIDERED THE ISSUE AND INSTALLED A DORMER FRAME INTO THE FRAME TO TO PROVIDE SHELTER AGAINST THE WEATHER. NEGATIVE IS THAT THE JOB TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED. BUT THEY BUILT WELL AND WERE RESPONSIVE TO CONCERNS.
