BUMBLE BEE LANDSCAPING

We enjoyed working with Paul to make our backyard usable. He installed a new retaining wall, removed a large raised patio, and graded the entire backyard. He is kind, communicative, and meticulous in his work. We highly recommend him!

After seeking a number of bids for our landscape project, we selected Paul because he was timely with his bid, his design showed that he listened to us when we described our goals, he was not reluctant to make adjustments to his plan after we had a chance to review it, his price was very competitive, and he seemed like a nice guy that we could work with and trust. He started the project exactly when he said he would and completed it within the timeframe that he said it would require. When we asked if he could delay transplanting a tree until it went dormant, he was totally fine with this even though I am sure it was much less convenient for him. The results exceeded our expectations, and we’ve gotten many compliments from friends and neighbors. We would not hesitate to hire him again for another project.

Amazing!! Paul does a great job. He is extremely responsive, punctual, easy to work with. He is a very hard worker and gets everything done to perfection - or he will do it again. I cannot recommend Paul / Bumblebee enough. He easily adjusted plans to what we envisioned. He diagnosed our Japanese Beetle problem (yuck). What an amazing experience! Fairly priced as well, and he was very good at breaking down pricing so it was transparent. I would not hesitate on using Paul! Best. Landscaper. Ever.

Paul did a fabulous job. He is the best contractor we hired out of several in our remodeling project. His design of the space is wonderful. He was punctual, respectful of our privacy, and always quick to respond to minor problems. He came highly recommended from our neighbors and they were right on the money. I ask several landscapers (highly recommended in Angies List) to give estimates. Half of them did not show up. The other half were all over the map with no particular interesting ideas. If you are looking for a landscaper, do yourself a favor and hire Paul.

. Paul ( the owner ), did an excellent job designing and landscaping our backyard, my wife and I are thrilled with the design and the completed work. . Our backyard is so beautiful, Paul is an artist and he created a masterpiece in our yard. Paul was so helpful and patient with all of our questions. What we asked Paul to do was to design a large corner of our backyard that would remind us of back home, which for us is Virginia Beach, VA. Paul nailed it!! Paul's design brought tears to my wife and my eyes once it was completed. We will be forever grateful for the excellent work that Paul and his nephew did. Paul also planted some beautiful plants and flowers for the south and north side of our home, he also cut back some bushes for us too! Paul is the real life definition of the word "Gentlemen" and his nephew Joe is a hardworking and outstanding young man. It was and is, been our pleasure to have met and done business with them. My wife and I highly recommend Bumble Bee Landscaping and yes we will use Bumble Bee Landscaping again in the future and we would recommend them to all of our friends, family, co-workers and anyone who would inquire about landscaping or a landscaper who reside here in the beautiful state of Minnesota. It was good. We didn't go with them because we chose another provider that we thought was more creative. He's done good work in the neighborhood but we just chose to go with someone who is a little more creative.

Paul came out and gave us the initial free estimate. We had spoken with a couple of other landscape contractors but Paul seemed to best understand what we wanted and was able to make suggestions on how to design the patio based on our budget. He was very professional and was obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. When we contacted Paul to let him know we would like to have him do the work for us, he gave us an approximate start date and he was able to start within that timeline. We selected a stone upgrade and Paul was very responsive in letting us know how that would impact our budget. We also had a last minute project change (adding the walkway/path), and Paul was able to suggest how we could tweak the patio design to allow for enough stone in the pathway. Paul was able to get our patio in from start to finish in a week and he did an AMAZING job. The curves of the patio and the work he did cutting and assembling the stone is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I are so pleased with the result. Paul was wonderful to work with and we would definitely use him again for any landscaping we might have. He is very skilled, he is reasonably priced, and the quality of his work is fantastic. We hadn't asked our neighbors for any landscape referrals prior to hiring Paul for the job, but two different neighbors had noticed the BumbleBee Landscaping truck and said he had done wonderful work for them too.

. He gave us a bid that was slightly higher than the other contractor, but it was clear that the extra expense and effort would be worthwhile. He did the job on time and on budget, used a very quiet little bobcat and cleaned up every day. We have recommended him to others.

He was professional and very hard-working. He did a great job and we are very happy with the results. We have used his services twice.

The person who came out from Bumble Bee Landscaping Company did an excellent job with the quote. He was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions. He was good.

He was great. He came out in a timely manner. We ended up not doing the project.

Paul gave an extimate and the final bill was the same. He started and completed the project as outlined in the estimate. No delays. He is very experienced and capable. I am not an expert in paver installations but have seen a few and prepatation of the base prior to laying the pavers was exceptional and better done than others I have seen. I expect the pavers will remain in place for a very long time. Our pattern and colors plan was to be random and Paul did an excellent job of that. He is a combination of skill and artistry. I would use this company again and highly recommend him.

Bumble Bee's bid was the lowest of all the bids we received and arrived quickly. We gave it serious consideration, but in the end we chose to go with a different bid that was more expensive but larger in scope.

Went well but no work completed yet.

It went very well - Paul's solution was the most cost effective provided and it looks very attractive, blending well with the adjacent hardscape. Most importantly, it has resolved the water issue with the garage.

Paul Tennant was prompt in giving an estimate for a retaining wall replacement. He had good information and his price was reasonable. He was willing to arrange the work in conjunction with my neighbor moving a hedge along the wall. I did not hire him, instead using a contractor who had poured sidewalks for me two years ago. But I would definitely call him again in the future.

He was absolutely outstanding, exceptionally professional. He was very knowledgeable and has amazing work ethic. He worked very hard and did all the work himself. He worked in the high heat of July and never complained he just kept at it everyday.

He was very good, he had a plan drawn up for us. I really like that he was very nice and very professional. The plants were very nice, the only thing was that, we were not very experienced with the process, and the plants that we had installed were a lot smaller than we thought they would be. Also that they put in a Dogwood plants instead of Dogwood trees.
