BUCK BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION

Description of Work: Buck Brother remodeled our entire kitchen. The house was built in 1914 and it has limited options. We ended up taking down a wall between a pantry and a coat room. They also removed a window to allow for more wall space for cabinets and more counter tops. We essentially doubled up our kitchen space. We have custom made cabinets which used all available space. For example we have a cabinet right next to the entry door that is only 8 inches deep, but 37 inches wide and 8 feet tall. It is ideal to keep all dry food and small kitchen items. | |We also wanted a seated area in addition to a center island. There wasn't a lot of room for either and Buck Brothers helped us finding the right solution. We now have a peninsula with a small seated area right next to the windows and a counter top area right attached to it. We have wonderful lighting everywhere in the kitchen. The whole area had to be gutted and it was a good opportunity to update electric and plumbing. Buck Brothers paid close attention to details. Some of the original woodwork had to be removed and they did a great job matching the woodwork with the original. | |Buck Brother and their contractors were wonderful to work with. They were very flexible and open to make changes along the way. Tracy, who coordinated the project was also great to work with. She kept us informed of any unforeseen schedule changes and she had made sure that everybody did their jobs to our satisfaction. The project took slightly longer than anticipated, but mostly due to us changing our minds and adding more work to it. | |I would definitely hire Buck Brothers for other projects.

Description of Work: I had Buck Brothers out to give me an estimate on remodeling my kitchen and bath. They were prompt and professional. Joe returned with a base drawing and some good ideas. I realized at the time that I would have to do a little more planning myself and save a little more money to get the kitchen I want. This is a 1909 house so it will be a complete tear out. |I am familiar with work that they have done for friends of mine and know that the quality and care is there. | |I went with a lower bid for the bathroom and that was a mistake. | |I will definitely go back to them for the kitchen remodel - soon.

Description of Work: Replaced a partial foundation under an addition w. a full foundation and insulation of new crawl space. Very happy w. the job that they did.
