Brown Hauling

I found Brown Hauling on Angies List on Friday; called about noon. Terry said he could come give an estimate that evening. He came when he said he would, gave an estimate and said he could haul the stuff away the next day. He and another guy came the next day, on time, and took everything -- even though it was raining and muddy and the back yard was swarming with mosquitoes. Then they raked and cleaned up. I will call them again!

Terry was professional from start to finish. He came out to estimate the job the same day I called and then came the next morning to complete the job. He was courteous, punctual, thorough and efficient. I will definitely use him again for future hauling needs.

Mr. Brown answered my call directly on the 2nd ring. He came out within 90 minutes to bid the job. We agreed to a price and he completed the job the same day. He not only hauled the wood, but (without my asking him to) he cleared the debris away that had accumulated under the pile. He was responsive, punctual, friendly, gave me a reasonable rate, and did a very good job.

Called Brown in the afternoon of a Saturday, he came out before end of day and provided a bid. Then came at noon on Sunday and promptly removed the debris. Swept up and left the space in better condition than when he came.

I had cut down some small trees and bushes as well a 7 years of vine growth from the sides of my house. It was quit a large pile and I didn't have the will to chop it all up (would have taken at least 10 hours and 30 lawn bags). We can't burn in the city and I don't have access to a truck so I looked into renting a chipper. The chipper was going to cost me $90 to rent plus I would have to haul all the debris from the back yard to to the front through a not so easy path and then chipped it for a few hours. Long story short Terry saved the day.

Brown Hauling arrived at time designated and removed a large pile of tree limbs and cuttings from the driveway. The estimate was very good and I immediately approved. Not only was the pile totally removed, but the driveway was swept clean of dead leaves, all during a downpour!

I called Brown Hauling and they offered to do the work the same day. I asked that he wait until the next morning which he did. He was here early in the morning and did the work in a timely manner. Very pleasant to work with.

I called for an estimate and Terry came out the same day. It was a lot of work hauling the old wood but he honored his original estimate. His crew did an excellent job!

Brown Hauling provided a prompt response to my inquiry; he came to my home after normal business hours since that was most convenient for me. He arrived the next day as promised and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. Very courteous and friendly. I would certainly use his services again.

The crew of 3 men arrived in the afternoon as arranged with Mr. Brown. They loaded the brush and compost into a large truck. This took about 4 hours. It was a hot, humid day and they were working near a pond with lots of mosquitoes. There was 8 year's worth of compost and it was heavy. I was amazed that they were able to get so much into one truck. They did a great job of compacting the stuff so they wouldn't have to make another trip. The men were polite and worked steadily. They checked with me a couple of times to see how much they should leave since I wanted to keep a bit of the compost for future projects. Mr. Brown (the owner) was very pleasant and easy to work with. Altogether a good experience!

I called Brown Hauling from Angie's List because they seemed to be reasonably priced compared to others on the list. They stopped by, gave me a quote and hauled the junk away that night. They forgot the garbage dumpsters but agreed to pick them up after I called to remind them. Painless.

Excellent. He returned my call almost immediately and was very professional. He arrived when he said he would and gave me a fair estimate. I am use to having to negotiate with some companies when their bids come in way too high. His was fair and honest and I took it immediately. Very nice man to deal with.

They did a good job. They were prompt and we would use them again.

They showed up and removed everything for a reasonable price and hauled it away.

They were very accommodating working around my schedule. There were only a couple things that were a little disappointing, they broke down all the items with a sledge hammer and they drove a very dilapidated truck that dripped oil. Other than that they did a fine job and their price was extremely good in comparison to another company.

I originally contacted Mr. Brown to remove several fallen trees. He returned my call within an hour and came the next day (a Sunday!) to give me an estimate on the work. Although I have decided to postpone that particular project until next spring, I also had two large piles of yard waste, mostly buckthorn, that needed to be disposed of. I called Mr. Brown the following week to arrange a time for him to pick up the brush- it was gone two days later. A very good experience.

Mr. Brown was punctual, maybe a little early, pleasant, extremely professional, and very nice. I would recommend him highly!

Mr. Brown called me promptly after I'd left my message and setup a time to come over for an estimate. He arrived 15 minutes early. He provided a quote immediately which I found a little high, but was pleased to find out they could do the work immediately so I didn't mind paying a bit extra to have the work completed. They finished within about 30 minutes and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't even tell there had been a large pile of brush there for a few weeks. I am very pleased with their service and follow-up.

Called based on Craigslist ad. Mr. Brown was late for the estimate appointment and seemed laid back and slightly unprofessional. In addition, I felt his bid of $300 was too high for the work.

This company never returned our calls requesting a bid.

Very accommodating, and very reasonably priced. Came promptly and did an excellent job.

ELIGE BROWN RUNS AN EFFICIENT HAULING SERVICE. HIS EMPLOYEES ARE POLITE AND PLEASANTLY DO ANYTHING ASKED. AFTER INITIALLY CALLING HIM, I MET WITH HIM THAT DAY AND HE GAVE ME A QUOTE ON THE SPOT. HE WAS WILLING TO GET RID OF THE TRACTOR TIRE, WHICH MOST COMPANIES WOULD NOT TOUCH OR CHARGED A HUGE AMOUNT FOR. HIS PRICE WAS THE BEST OF THE SEVERAL COMPANIES CONTACTED. THE WORK WAS DONE AT THE AGREED UPON TIME AND HE HAD ME WALK AROUND WITH HIM TO SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS TO MY SATISFACTION. HE WAS WILLING TO TAKE ADDITIONAL ITEMS, I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT. HIS EMPLOYEES WERE VERY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING APPLIANCES, NOT TO DAMAGE ANYTHING AND ANYTHING MOVED OUT OF PLACE WAS PUT BACK. HE SHOWED ME HIS INDIVIDUAL PRICES ON THE VARIOUS ITEMS AND HIS WORD IS GOOD. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THEY ARE GREAT TO WORK WITH.

RESPONDED PROMPTLY, CAME ON TIME, PERFORMED GOOD SERVICE AND CLEANED UP WELL. PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE.

RETURNED PHONE CALL PROMPTLY, BUT DID NOT SHOW UP AT OUR HOUSE ON TIME. HAULED AWAY ALL THE WOOD THAT WE REQUESTED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND EVEN CLEANED UP THE AREA AFTERWARDS. WE WOULD USE HIS SERVICE AGAIN.

MR BROWN IS PERSONABLE AND HIS WORKERS DID AN EFFICIENT JOB. I DID NOT SHOP AROUND, SO I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW IF HIS PRICES ARE SIMILAR TO OTHERS, BUT IT WAS CERTAINLY WORTHWHILE TO ME TO HAVE THIS DONE QUICKLY.
