Brothers Electric Co

Had Brothers Electric out yesterday to install two bathroom fixtures, two dimmers, a new wi-fi thermostat and troubleshoot a couple of issues. They were on time, on task, and completed everything quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

The job went very smooth, exactly as described. To my surprise, they were able to install the lights in a ceiling for which does not have access and left almost no holes for fishing the wires!

Went well. They were able to come out the same day. Quickly figured out that it was due to old wiring running through conduit on the outside of the house (that was no longer insulating the wire well). Replaced it pretty quickly from the upstairs. They said it'd probably take them and hour and a half or so, ended up being under an hour. Explained what had happened. Would use again.

They did an excellent job. Two technicians came out and completed the work in about an hour and a half. I told them what I needed and they came prepared with the correct parts. The light was not made for a sloping roof that I have but they were able to make it work. I was very pleased they were able to do so. They were punctual and professional. They even offered to dispose of the old chandelier which I really appreciated. It was very easy to schedule the service. They were pretty booked but my schedule was flexible. I told them to let me know when something came available and they made sure to do just that. I did have to call twice to get the service scheduled, however.

Their price was good. They were messy and then when we called and complained, they came back and they did not really address it very well. When they were trying to figure out where to drop a line, they drilled a hole in the wrong place. So, it made a hole in this newly installed carpet. We told them and they never had come back to fix it. They also did not put down a drop cloth. So, when they went in and out the attic, they made a huge mess. When they did some work with our fireplace insert, they did not get it situated right. So now, it makes this noise all the time. We would not use them again in the future.

I couldn't be happier. They were real professionals. Showed up when they said they would, worked hard and were flexible on revisions. I'm not the gushing type; but, out of all of the different subcontractors I hired for my project... they were the best. I will not use anyone else moving forward and have nothing but confidence in recommending them to friends and family.

I have used Brothers in the past for various projects and they are allways excellent. On this particular occaision they replaced a light fixture in a closet that had a broken pull chain. I also had them replace an outlet in the garage. I had been having some problems with an under cabinet light that would not allways come on and they were able to trouble shoot the problem. They did not have the necessary part to fix it, but told me what I needed and where I could order it if I wanted to have them fix it at a later date.

It was very good. They were excellent. They understood the scope of the project. It was very easy to explain what we wanted. We had demolished everything inside so they could put the wires to our system. It could be tricky to fix wires to the walls but they did a good job with that. They showed up on time and they were very predictable. They did a good job with adjusting to the details. It was great.

The guys were on-time, professional and neat. They kept the renter informed of what they were doing and asked her permission if they had to relocate an item. The job was finished in 1 day, as estimated. I highly recommend Brothers Electric! .

Brothers did a great job on this archaic system. We had a hard time finding an electrician who could work on a low-voltage system, but we got the contact info for Brothers from the manufacturer and they did a great job. The techs were punctual, they communicated exactly what needed to be done, they completed the work as efficiently as possible, and cleaned up after themselves.

II asked one of the electricians to install the wireless door bells in the front and he put it right on my brand new facia and in the middle. Not only was in not to the side like every one has their door bell he didn't even center it on there. I should have done it myself!!! It just looks horrible. I don't see how anyone could put it there. Then, he didn't even ask! I guess I can't assume that everyone knows where doorbells go on doors.

Brother's Electric did an excellent job updating our electrical. There were no unexpected costs, and the work performed was completed in the amount of time quoted. I've used them in the past, and would use them again.

Electricians arrived on time, completed the work quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. They also managed to put the wire in the wall with minimal damage.

The electrician was professional and responsive. The bid came back and was higher than we anticipated so at this time we are not going to do all the work. We have asked for an itemized bid to pick select tasks.

Awesome work! I've used several other electrical companies recently and Brothers was the best experience I've had, I'll be using them for all future projects. They were super respectful, they offered alternatives, they were efficient, and they explained the actions that they needed to take to complete work. A great experience!

They were very prompt, timely and helpful. Easily diagnosed the hall lighting issue, installed a new ceiling fixture. Replaced an old and problomatic Bathroom GFCI outlet. It was loose and secured it again. Tested an outside GFCI that had tripped, but was hard to reset. These were all small things, but ones I had put off for far too long. I will definitely use them again

They did a good job. Two people showed up, I showed them the outlets they were to replace and they took care of the job. Any issues they ran into they let me know about. They cleaned up and everything was done as expected. My only complaint would be is that I was told they would show up between 8 and 9 am and they got here about 9:05 - 9:10. That isn't too big of a deal and I would use them again.

I contacted the company about getting two light fixtures replaced. I initially left a message, and received a call back very quickly. I explained what I wanted done, and had a special request as well. The appointment was the following week, the electrician showed up early, got right to work, was very easy to work with. He got both fixtures up and working right away. One fixture I wanted changed was on a wall that had been wallpapered, and the electrician took that fixture down so I could clean off the wallpaper and glue while he put the other fixture up, and I was able to have all the glue off by the time he was finished with the first and put up the second.

Our 30-year-old gas range had been limping along for several years, and finally stopped working. We wanted to replace it with an electric smooth top, so we needed to have a 240 volt receptacle installed in the kitchen. I called Brothers Electric on a Monday, and Kevin came out to give us an estimate several days later. He arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment, and seemed very knowledgeable. He told me that, though our new range requires 40 amp, code requires 50 amp. His estimate for the job sent by email later that afternoon was the lowest of two estimates we received. Brothers Electric was able to schedule our job for the following week. Zach and Jordan arrived 5 minutes early and were finished in less than an hour. They worked fast but did a good job (I have done some electrical work in the past myself), and offered to clean up afterwards. And we love our new range!

They fixes a couple of wiring issues we needed to fix for selling our house and installed a fan. We accidentally missed one fix we needed to make and they came back a couple of days later and fixed it free of charge. Great service, on time and friendly. I will for sure use them again.

They showed up during the designated time and did a fabulous job in a timely manner. In addition, they found a wire in the fuse box that was "burning" and replaced that as well. I also appreciated that they took the time to explain the steps they took to complete the work. I will definetly be adding Brothers Electric to my list of Angie's List Favorites and using for future electrical needs.

It went very well. Zach and Adam did a very good job, which involved quite a bit of problem-solving and hard work because of the age of our nice old house.

It was a simple, straight-forward job. The breaker box and the water heater are in the same room. I had already removed the old water heater and left the circuit breaker switched off, with the wire and conduit hanging from the ceiling. The new tankless heater was mounted on the same wall as the breaker box and I had already connected all of the plumbing to it. The Brothers electrician had a look and went out see if he had a 60A breaker in the van. He did, so he put it in and connected the wires from the heater in through the side of the breaker box. He left the old conduit on the floor where I told him he could. That was it. In all it took about 30 minutes and it was a nice tidy job.
