They were very creative with the challenges of our older house, and were able to do everything we asked. The estimate was spot on, and the other work we asked for outside of the estimate, which was billed on time and materials, was reasonably priced. They could have done a better job on clean-up, but overall, we would hire again!

Brian was on time, even a bit early, phoned before arriving. He did a great job on pesky old wiring in my 100 yr old house. Some of the fixtures had been put in improperly and he fixed, installed boxes where needed, and explained and answered all my questions. One fixture was so bad it will require attic crawl space work, which I will have Brothers do. Excellent!

I was impressed by their willingess to show up on time for a free estimate and to make the repair without charging for a service call.

Dave was very intense and very skilled. If there was a problem he would figure it out. He brought an apprentice with him who was very nice. Dave was very patient with him. It was nice to have two guys for the price of one visit. They were great.

They were on time and did a good job. I had to run to the store to buy an extra piece and switch one of the fixtures, but the guys were very patient and just moved on to the next room. My only complaint is that they weren't very neat. As the old light fixture came out they let any loose pieces just fall to the floor leaving small rings, screws and debris throughout the house. It was easy for us to clean up, but with an infant in the house it would have been nice if they'd been a little more conscientious about the small pieces.

Two men came to fix the two problems. They were quick, polite and the price was reasonable.

I was disappointed after reading all the good comments about Brothers. The estimator was 40 minutes late and did not call to let us know he was running late. While he was here, he was not very helpful in suggesting potential positioning of the lights and did not answer questions directly. He did not spend more than 5-7 minutes looking at our space to give us an estimate. (We wanted approximately 23 lights.) I also felt he was not really listening to what we wanted and felt as though writing our estimate was an inconvenience to him.

I called Amy at their office and she was very helpful in scheduling the work to accommodate my schedule. She sent 2 electricians that were very professional and did an excellent job. They charged me for 1 hour of work and gave me the $15.00 Angie's List discount. The previous owner of my home had cut the wiring for the security flood light on the outside of the garage and they rewired and added an light switch box and installed a new security flood light. Amy had recommended that I purchase the security flood light at Home Depot to save on costs. A few days after they did the work I called Amy to get an electrician to reset the sensitivity on the security flood light since it was turning on because of squirrels in my backyard. 2 electricians came back and reset the security flood light without charging me. Brothers electric does excellent work and are very reasonably priced. I am planning to use them again to replace the 2 outdoor lights on my house.

Very, very positive experience. At first we thought their estimate seemed high, but by the time they were done we realized that it was a real bargain. These guys did a lot of work, and did it well and on time. They were punctual, polite and professional. Highly recommended by friends in the area and now I understand why. We'll definitely be using them again the next time we need work done.

The two electricians were at my house a little early and were very polite and efficient. One of them even asked for a broom to, I assumed, clean up some of the drilling they had to do to install the outlets. However, I discovered that while he had cleaned up around the drilling site in the basement for the upstairs outlet, they had not cleaned up any of the wood splinters from the drilling to install the basement outlet. And, even worse, they had placed a water hose directly on top of a model airplane that my boyfriend had spent hours building. Luckily, they did not damage it, but it is not as if there was not an entire empty basement floor that the hose could have been moved to. While I do not expect them to clean up, I do expect them to respect my property. Otherwise, the electrical work is working fine.

My mom begged Brothers Electric to come out so she could see the chandelier she bought me hung up before she left town. Brothers Electric seemed busy, but came in less than an hour with less an hours notice. I really appreciated it! Thanks Brothers!

The crews from Brothers were very efficient and professional. Easy to work with, and willing to answer any questions we had, even after the job was done. At the time of the work, the electricians noticed that the original estimate did not include an additional outlet that was needed to code. They added that outlet free of charge.

We were very pleased with the work performed. After fixing the problem they stayed for at least 20 minutes to monitor our electrical system to ensure that the system was performing correctly.

Bob, the electrician that did the work was great! He took extra care to assure that the new location would work, which was a challenge since we are in mid-remodel. He also had great insight on how to address some challenges on the parts of the work that I am doing. Thank you!! I have to add a subpanel in the future and will definitely use these folks.

I had a second estimate done on various electrical jobs. Maybe I learned something from the first estimate so that I asked better questions of the electrician. In any case, I had an estimate for a replacement of fuse panel and four sidecar panels with 100-amp, 30 space circuit breaker panel in the same location. Our microwave would periodically cause a fuse to blow and I thought it was dangerous. The second electrician (from Brothers) told me that we already had 100-amp, that having the combination fuse/circuit-breaker wasn't dangerous. He did some calculations & told me that our 1350 watt microwave was "hogging" the circuit. He said put the microwave on its own circuit or buy a lower watt microwave. I had also asked about other small jobs and he gave me common sense, honest answers. I was so impressed. We ended up not having any work done, but if I need some in the future, I would call them.

He was right on time, extremely friendly and courteous and worked efficiently. I was surprised at how reasonable his rates were too.

Bob, the electrician arrived earlier than scheduled time, which was no problem at all. He was very thorough with checking all power outlets, main panel, indoor and outdoors until he found the problematic GFI. Apparently the electrical wiring in the house was not the most intuitive. Bob gave helpful recommendations along the way and did not overcharge. He also honored the company discount as had been offered at the time of scheduling. Great service. Would definitely use them again.

There were no problems. Both men were very professional and went right to work. I would certainly hire them again.
