Very well. They were on time, considerate, clear, professional, efficient, and clean.

They are very knowledgeable. They were able to come out in a timely fashion. They were successful with the repair. They were very professional. I would use them again.

I called the previous week to book an electrician to come out and install a 220V outlet for a new electric stove. The female who answered checked what kind of stove I was getting (electric), double confirmed it was electric and not gas, then advised I only needed a 110V outlet. I was pretty sure this wasn't the case so I queried her, and she responded she was absolutely sure that I didn't need a 220V outlet. On the weekend my new stove was delivered, and needed the 220V outlet after all. Today (Monday) I called Brothers Electric again....despite the incorrect information, they had received good Angie's List reviews so I wanted to give them another chance, and a man answered the phone. We couldn't get an appointment for the time I was off work, and they are not very available to people who work normal office hours (8-4). I tried to find out how long it would take so I could find a morning appointment where I had no meetings scheduled, and he would just say "It depends...." and wouldn't give a clear answer. Talking to him was like pulling teeth. I asked him to work with me, give me a general idea...and he kept saying "Oh, it's different every time." He finally mentioned some factors that might affect it (i.e. is the basement finished, etc., etc.) and I was able to give more information, and finally he said 1-3 hours. He wouldn't give an estimate on funds either (though I'm not sure quite how they expect somebody to know if they can afford to pay them if they won't tell them how much it's going to cost) and when I asked if somebody could at least come out, take a look at it and give me either a quote or a time estimate, he told me the job was too small. I have never met a service company less interested in doing business, and as a result, I will take my small job elsewhere.

BE arrived as arranged, did exactly the work requested in a diligent manner and we both went our separate ways. Perfect!

Everything has gone very well. Their prices are shockingly reasonable, and the quality of their work is exceptional.

I called Brothers Electric on a Monday and asked about repairs for light switches and a gas stove starter damaged during an electrical storm power surge. The person I spoke with listened to my requests and said they could not do that. I had to ask what they could not do and he explained they could not fix the stove. I still had to ask if they could fix the light switch and he said that yes they could. He didn't seem interested in my repair request based on this conversation but I went ahead and scheduled the light switch repair anyway for Thursday morning at 8:30. On Thursday, Brian called me at 8AM to see if he could start the job earlier than scheduled. He arrived about five minutes later and I explained the problem. He spent some time troubleshooting the switches and determined that the dimmer switch needed replacement. He did not have the right color switch on hand so he went to a local store to pick one up. He came back a while later and finished the job at around 10AM. Everything works great. There was a little bit of a mess around the replaced light switch that I noticed later in the day.

Not great. When I called to set up the appointment and requested an afternoon, due to the fact that I have small children who nap in the afternoon, I was met with resistance and informed that they are finished with their day at 4:30 pm. On the day that they were to come at noon, I received a call at 8:30 am to tell me that they were stuck in traffic but would be here soon. I was floored, I specifically requested that they come after noon. When they did show up, one of the electricians did not seem to know what he was doing. The other had to leave and get a wall plate. He was gone for an hour while the other worked on the electrical outlet. I was then told that my motion light could not be installed where I wanted it. All of this for $350.00. Then, they did not put things back were they went. When I went to plug a light into the outlet that was installed, the outlet did not work. I had to call and have someone else come to fix it, from their company. I found out that it was a faulty outlet. I also asked about the motion light, could it in fact be installed where I wanted. The gentleman checked things out and said that it would be a little work but nothing significant. I told him why I asked and he was very embarrassed for the "team" that had been to our home previously.

Their estimates are not written as professionally as their competitors. They have a typewriter instead of a computer. They are a bit sloppy and not totally thorough. I had to call and clarify the scope. It ended up being complete and I hired them because Denny was so knowledgeable and seems to think nothing I was asking for would be a problem. Thanks Denny and your electricians!

He said he would do it if I dug the trench. I'm NOT digging a trench.

They are fantastic! They definitely know what they are doing. They completely understood what we wanted done and had the technical knowledge to do a difficult job.

The experience was good with those services overall. They were courteous and punctual and they did a high quality job. I would use them again in the future.

They were very professional, friendly guys. They tried to work with me as I was trying to figure things out. They were patient with me. They were o.k. guys to have in the home. I felt the price was reasonable.

Excellent job. The only issue was timing; they originally expected to be there from 11-1, but due to issues on earlier calls, ended up coming around 3. But they handled it so well, I did not mind. First, they kept me informed. They agreed to call me before they came over, this allowed me to make productive use of my time instead of waiting. And when it became clear the folks originally scheduled would not make it in time, they dispatched another team. The team who arrived, Al and Bob, worked together and got the job done extremely quickly and professionally. So while I can't say they were completely on time, they handled it as well as anyone could. I would definitely use them again.

I used this company before and was satisfied with their work then so called them to do this work. They are knowledgeable in their work. They are nice to work with and I was pleased with the work. They swept up afterwards and left the place in good shape.

Just OK. Had asked for 4 outdoor sockets. They did 2 that were very easy and didn't spend much time investigating how to run the other 2 which would involve some thought and work. Chandelier moving was fast and good. Irrigation system plugged in 2 each of 2 outdoor plugs and didn't work. Had to call to fix problem. They had connected outlet to a line that was easiest to get to but was a ceiling fixture and if ceiling light not "on" outdoor supply was dead. Came and changed wiring. They don't seem to have a lot of intelligence nor a wish to puzzle over problems that are difficult.

This company is very responsive and work can be scheduled quickly. Bob is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He did the work in a timely manner making sure to understand exactly what I wanted. I would not hesitate to hire this company, and particularly Bob, again for any electrical work I need done.

Excellent! They found out how the existing wires ran by knocking on the ceiling and wall. They did minimal damage to my ceiling and wall to install the wiring and fixtures: just 4 inch cut out circles, which were easy to drywall back into place. Whole project was complete in 3 hours.

I got an appt 2 days after my call, they arrived within the 2 hour window and were done in just over an hour. Used a tarp to control the mess.

Excellent. He was very helpful and willing to talk to us about everything and answer all of our questions. He was right about the air conditioner. We bought a new one and haven't blown any fuses since.

The electrician came over to give me the estimate. It turned out that the box on the house was no longer code and would need to be replaced along with repairing and grounding the wiring. The electrician was very apologetic about the added expense. I asked when the work could get done. because when the tree branch came down it also took out my phone line and the phone company would not fix the line until the electrician had finished the needed repairs. He got on his walkie-talkie and asked if the work could be done that day. He was told by the company that it could be. An hour later two young men came out and did the work. They were very friendly and polite and worked well together to finish the job.

Called on Wednesday and they were able to schedule me within three days. Arrived exactly on time and did a great job. Having two weeks to get my dad s house in shape for sale I went down my list with Jeff and Joe and they went to work. They found and fixed a live electrical wire that had been cut in the side yard; explained why the outside outlet wasn t working, capped and removed it; covered an unused electrical outlet in the laundry room; found the source of a mystery cord in the basement; and capped 3 lines plus took out 2 of the 3 outside metal poles that needed to be removed. They also pointed out a few upgrades as options. They were thorough and polite answered my questions and I m very pleased with the work. What a huge and pleasant surprise that the invoice was only $125.00.
