Very professional, knowledgeable and fairly priced company.

Bathroom fan was "buzzing" but not running. I suspected that the fan motor was burned out and would need to be replaced. The electrician called before coming. He said that it would be 20 min, but it turned out to be about an hour. I didn't question the delay, chalk it up to traffic I guess. When the electrician arrived he disasembled the fan and discovered that it was so caked with dust that it would not rotate. He (and I) cleaned the fan, the fan motor, and the bezel on the fixture. He also lubricated the fan motor. He then reassembled the fan in the housing. It works fine now and the electrician saved the time and money I would have spent putting in a new fan that likely would not have fit into the same hole in the ceiling. Although it was cheaper than an new fan (at lease half the price excluding the cost of a new fan), and I was pleased at that, it was still an $85 electrician's service charge. Seems kind of steep for a service call, but then again it's been years since I called an electrician.

Considering what could have been wrong, I was very happy with the amount of the bill and the service. They weren't pushy, they didn't try to over sell/correct and talk about quick service! We would definitely recommend and use again!

The Brothers Electricians arrived on time and introduced theirselves. They reviewed the project and discussed how they would process with the installation (wall boards etc., ). They double checked the measurements, they were courteous and professional. The worked in a team and it was obvious they knew what they were doing. The estimate was accurate in fact the amount paid was slightly under the amount estimated. I used the coupon provided in the Angie's list book. After the work was completed they reviewed the work with me prior to my signing the paperwork. I would recommend this company and use them again for electrical needs.

Went okay. Took a long time as he had to work in areas of basement that are partially finished. Also had to drill into side of house to hook up the wiring to outlet.

The experience was wonderful! I called and spoke to Mike and he said he could have someone do the job the very next day. Two guys did come out the next day, did an excellent job, were very friendly and professional, and charged us the price quoted. We will definitely recommend them and use them in the future!

They came on time and did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the results. We have aluminum wiring and they knew what to do and educated me on what to look for with the wiring. They were pleasant and professional and cleaned up after themselves.

From the initial phone call to finish these guys were exceptional. They were very kind, came out same day, were very professional and very fast. They new how to fix the problem immediately. Thank God I found them on Angie's List and the price was so reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I originally called to have them install a new exhaust fan as the one that broke was very old and I could not find a suitable replacement for the size of the ceiling opening. The suggested I bring the old one in to see if they could give it a new motor. In the end, the problem turned out to be a bent fan blade that was causing it to jam. They straightened the blade, cleaned it up, and it now works like new. They only charged me $5,

For the ceiling fan he told me I had to buy a down rod. He was working on the ceiling fan and he said this is not going to work but he was trying to put it next to the ceiling because I did not have a down rod. He had already cut the wires before a decision was made on the down rod length and I had to buy a shorter one than I would have liked due to the wiring. He was a nice person and did a good job but I wish it was a little lower from the ceiling. They are a good company however.

We had a row of outlets go out in the kitchen, connected to a GFCI box. Turns out we just had a bad GFCI box, and he quickly replaced it with a new one.

A team of 2 technicians arrived on time. I explained the specific jobs needing completion. Both technicians were polite. Brian, the senior technician, discussed alternative approaches to installing the exterior electrical plug. The easiest was to drill a hole in the wall and run exterior conduit. The more difficult, but cleaner and more attractive approach was to fish a line up through the interior of the wall and come out at the exterior electrical box location. Brian recommended the second approach with the first approach as a fall-back in the event the preferred approach could not be accomplished. The team proceeded to perform the exterior electrical plug box and in the process they decided to run a second parallel physical unconnected line up through the wall at the same time just in case I wanted to add a second exterior electrical plug box in the future. Once the exterior electrical plug project was complete and everything tested to ensure it worked, the team split the other two projects, with Brian repairing the basement utility light and Zack installing the front hall ceiling fixture. When each project was completed they cleaned up any debris. When they left, the work sites for each project were cleaner than when the team arrived. Both technicians were polite at all times, offered suggestions for me to consider when appropriate, explained what they were doing and any issues they were facing. In other words, they kept me informed along the way and conveyed a sense of confidence in me that they knew exactly what they were doing. They were also helpful giving me ballpark estimeates of a couple of potential future projects completely unrelated to the work they performed. Overall, I was extrremely pleased with the experience and the result. After the team left I called the company to complement the team on their work. I would consider only Brothers Electric Co. for any future electrical work.

A thunderstorm ripped the pipe which holds our electrical and phone wires off of the back end of our house. We still had power but the wires were either on the ground or very nearly touching the ground. Xcel was coming over to cut our power for safety reasons but they told us that since the pipe was attached to our house, we had to get it repaired ourselves. I called Brothers Electric (based on Angies List rating) at 3 pm and Denny, one of the owners, came right over (he was here in about 30 minutes). I expressed my concern to him about being without power for a few days when Xcel arrived (they were due in a few minutes) to cut the power. Denny assured me his company would have everything fixed just fine within a few hours. When Xcel arrived, he spoke to their repair person about the solution, which the Xcel person said was a good fix. Denny then called his son who I was told would be over shortly to take care of the fix. His son took a little longer to get here but once here, he and another worker immediately got to it...and, true to the Mike's word, we were only without power for about 2 or 3 hours max. Denny even did a parts run for his son and stayed until the job was completed. What I appreciated the most about Brothers Electric was their responsiveness, friendliness, courtesy, professionalism and attention to detail. Denny, in particular, was very supportive and his assurance that everything was going to be fixed and fixed SOON was quite comforting since Xcel had told me to expect to be without power for up to 2 days! The work that they did was excellent and the fact that from my first contact with Brothers (about 3:00 pm) to the end of the job (between 7:30 and 8:00 pm) was a time span of only 5 hours is amazing. When their initial estimate of what a part cost was off, they basically performed the last 30 minutes of labor for no charge! Now that's customer service!!! We will not hesitate for an instant to use them again and we highly recommend them.

They arrived earlier than scheduled, but had called ahead to ask if it would be okay to arrive early. They listened to my problem and were able to find all issues immediately. They completed their work and were done in about 30 minutes. It was so easy to have them come in and do the work. Excellent job !! Thanks.

I called on Monday the 11th as the heatwave struck. Unfortunately none of the places I called could do the work that week so I went with Brothers Electric. They could fit me in any time the next week, but I was out of town until Tuesday. We set the appointment up for Tuesday morning at 8:30. On Tuesday I got a call around 8:00 that I missed trying to get details of what we needed done so they could bring appropriate materials. I called back around 8:20 when i got the message and got the voicemail of the person who was coming out. Even though he had missed my message they managed to make it out around 9:00. They were efficient and got the various problems fixed quickly. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. It took slightly longer than I had originally expected, but that was partially because the outlet that they were replacing was actually not connected so the work was a bit more than I had originally thought. Overall i was very pleased and plan on having them out soon to fix all the other wiring problems in this old house.

The overall experience was extremely pleasant and affordable.

They did an excellent job. They were able to remove surface tracking to the outlet (in an old Saint Paul dwelling) with minimal impact to the many layers of paint. Looks great. Good job at a fair price. Will definitely work with them again.

They showed up on time (actually - a little early) ... were friendly, professional, and fast!! When I scheduled the appointment, they told me to expect about an hour to hour and a half .... it only took them 15 minutes!!! But they got the job done, and made sure everything worked and cleaned up after themselves .... I was very happy. Only thing that surprised me is that they still charged for a full hour, even though it only took 15 minutes. But they also had a coupon for Angie's list memebers ... so it's all OK.

They arrived early, sorted out what needed to be done and proposed the least expensive/most efficient way to do it. The work was done speedily and the clean-up was thorough.

I could not be happier with the service I received. Electrician was on time, worked hard, and got a lot accomplished. I got more than my money's worth.

Bob arrived and was one of the nicest professionals I've ever worked with. He was well prepared and on time. He essentially knew what was wrong the minute he walked into my home (apparently these fixtures have a history of poor performance). Bob removed the fixture, explained what had happened and reassured me that my home's wiring was fine and the issue was with the fixtures. He took a few more minutes discussing ways to easily remedy the black marks formed on my ceiling around where the fixtures failed, recommending the types of fixtures that perform better and agreeing to return the next day to install them. I went out and found what I wanted and after giving Brothers a heads up that I was ready the same day, asked if Bob may still be available. He was and he replaced 5 fixtures in just around an hour. Friendly and answered all my questions throughout the both trips.

Perfect! We were so pleased that Brothers responsed so quickly to our situation and took care of it equally quickly. It was basically an ideal experience from the homeowner's perspective. We had used Brothers once before for a smaller, less urgent electrical job, and we're so glad we called them this time for something fairly pressing. We'll certainly be using them for all our electrical work from here on out.
