My experience with Brothers Electric was great from start to finish. A couple of weeks ago I emailed them for an estimate and described the services I needed. They quickly responded and had me call to set up an appointment for Denny to come out and give me an accurate estimate for the work done. It was spot on. After not hearing from any of the other two electricians that were highly touted on Angie's List, I called to set up a time to have the work done. I sure am glad I went with Brothers Electric. Jeff and Joe showed up exactly when they were designated to. They asked to see where the work areas were and got right to it. All of their work looked and worked great. They finished what I thought would be a long day of work in a couple of hours. They were very respectful of my home and cleaned up where they were working. Before receiving payment they had me check out everything that was done to see if I was satisfied and explained things about the motion light and ceiling fan. I was very satisfied! I will definitely be scheduling Jeff and Joe for any of my future electrical needs.

Made an appointment for the problem. Zack arrived on time, checked everything out, determined the problem and corrected it.Very friendly and helpfull.

They were very good. They were easy to deal with. When I called and told them what I needed, they scheduled an appointment and showed up on time. They did exactly everything I asked them to do.

There was some miscommunication on how many lights we were having installed, but it wasn't a problem. Two electricians arrived on time, got to work , and got the job done. It took a little longer than estimated and one seemed to have more experience than the other, but they did a nice job. They even installed electrical boxes for the lights on the garage where they were missing. We were pleased with the work and we just called them for a second job.

I called and they were able to come out the same day. The bathroom fixture was more difficult because of the mirror placement and a too large hole from a previous fixture. Zachary did a nice job placing it and centering it.. I would definitely call them again.

He said he hadn't seen these light switches before and didn't know what to do with them.

They were great. They were prompt, on time, and were flexible with my schedule. They came in and did a good job very quickly and efficiently.

They called before the scheduled time to let me know that the electrician was running a little late and that they were sending someone else out. A nice back up to have when using a larger company. He arrived on time, was extremely professional and efficient. He came up with a few options for where to tap into for the new outlet and found the one that would be quickest and easiest and wouldn't require punching through the wall in a visible spot. He finished quickly, was very clean and explained everything he did. He also helped me understand what I should think about in planning to finish the basement in the future as well. Great overall experience.

When I made the appointment, the receptionist said that the electrician would be at my home between noon and 1:00. After this experience, I'm no longer using service providers who can only give me a window of time in which they'll appear at my home. I don't think it's too much to ask to set a time in which to meet me. I have to leave work to be home for him, the least he can do is tell me exactly when he'll arrive. Second, I gave the electrician until 1:10, and then I went back to work. In retrospect, I should have left at 1:01. If given an hour window to make an appointment, you can't be late. If something comes up and you can't make it, call me. The receptionist was apologetic when I called to cancel but I still won't be using Brother's Electric again.

See above -- the electrician was very professional and helpful -- fixing a lot of things for a reasonable price. I just wish I didn't need to call them again now to have them come and fix what wasn't done the first time.

We had two separate service visits. The first was very disappointing. The first electrician said we could not have a ceiling fan in our kitchen, when asked why he stated it would involve "too much work" and be "too expensive". Normally, a service person would give a quote, and the customer decides if it is within their budget. He also said he couldn't do the work b/c he was having his home painted and had to leave. We called the company and requested a different electrician, and because the first man charged us $85.00, we decided to use the same company for the job (the fee would be applied to our future work). The second team that came out, Joe and Jeff were amazing! They were courteous, fast, and did a very nice job with our fan. One worked within our attic while the other worked from the ceiling. They were professional and we would absolutely use them again. We would give this company an F if it was based on our first experience but Joe and Jeff really changed our opinion. Overall, we would recommend this company.

Fabulous service! I figured the bathroom light switch was bad, but after trying to tighten the wires myself, the light went from flickering to completely dark. Because my handicapped mom uses that bathroom, I needed it fixed asap. My usual electric-repair company didn't have anyone available same day, so I checked Angie's List and called Brothers Electric. Amy was incredibly nice and helpful. She wasn't sure if one of the guys would have time for a same-day appt, but she promised to check into it. I was very grateful that Jeff could make it later in the afternoon. He arrived, diagnosed the bad switch, installed new ones, and was on his was in less than 15 minutes. (Heck, I've had electricians and plumbers take longer than that to go get something from their truck...) Paying for a pro on a simple job like this might not always be worth it. But I know it would have taken me A LOT longer to go buy switches and install them on my own, so I'm glad I hired Brothers Electric. And thanks to their friendly, helpful staff, I'll definitely use them again if the need arises.

I cannot believe I waited so long to call in a professional. Brother's sent out Zach who not only fixed my electrical issues, but educated me on how I could have identified the root cause. I appreciated the professionalism and friendly nature. Brother's will definitely get my work in the future, and in the mean time they should pay Zach more. Great guy.

We needed two guy because the oven was so heavy to remove from the wall. While one fixed the wires, the other fixed a light switch at no extra charge. I will definitely use them again. They were prompt, courteous, efficient, professional and fair.

They are punctual, neat, considerate and fair. I will always call them back and give them A's in all categories. I will use them again in the future.

We have ancient wiring in our house so not a trivial. They arrived punctually and did the work promptly and efficiently, cleaning up afterwards.

Everything went very well from the initial call to schedule service to the service that was performed. The electrician arrived on time and was helpful and efficient.

I was dealing with a very short time frame to get the repairs done so I appreciated that they were able to squeeze me with only a day's notice. While the serviceman was running late due to an earlier appointment, he called to let me know and then apologized for the inconvenience. They garage door sensors really didn't need an electrician to do but since the relo company needed to see that it had been done he was more than willing to do it for me and even mounted new bracket them to be installed. Overall, good service and would use them again.

Awesome. Bob is great. The experience from start to finish was just what I'd want. I think the cost ($85 for the first hour) is a great deal. Bob explained things the entire way, pointing out potential future problems without being pushy. I'm handy and have done some electrical work around the house, and he gave me some great tips. Once we had the initial work done with the flakey circuit breaker, I was just going to get an estimate on adding an outlet to an upstairs bedroom. As we were still "on the clock" for the first hour, we wound up going ahead with it and I just had to pay about $30 in parts. Again, Bob was very informative about the process, and I learned a lot. Before leaving I got his estimate on some more work we're considering down the road. The ONLY negative I have is that he was an hour early. That turned out not to be a problem, as it turned out I had an earlier appointment finish early. Really It worked out perfectly as I was just sitting around waiting for his arrival. A phone call, however, would have been appropriate because I would not have been home had my day gone as planned. I'm sure he would have just come back, but still... Because "punctuality" means being on time (unless cleared with customer), I reduced that grade to B. Otherwise, A++
