I incurred electrical damage during a major storm. All the contractors were very busy but Amy and brothers provided me a general estimate and placed me on a waiting list for service. She was very professional and responsive to my emails I would have gone with them, but I was able to contact another electrician who was able to squeeze me in.

Brother's Electric were super professional, friendly and quick to clean things up. They did a good job and consulted with us about everything they were doing. What I really liked was the fact that they sent a follow up thank you card and did a follow up inspection to make sure everything was good.

Very well. Two electricians came, Brian and Al, on the date and at the time scheduled. They checked our existing smoke detectors, provided new ones as needed, advised us as to the best choices of equipment and the best placement of it, and repaired an outdoor street lamp. They were friendly and efficient and clearly new what they were doing. They also told us when more expensive equipment was unnecessary. This is the first time we used them (we interviewed three providers listed on Angie's List, and Brothers felt like the best option), and we will use them again for any electrical problems we may have. Their prices are reasonable.

Wonderful experience! Very professional, prompt and always cognizant of my major concerns, including cost-effectiveness. They took less than an hour, they were wonderful. He gave a quick diagnosis. They didn't gouge us on price. We'll certainly use them again.

Brothers Electric responded promptly to my request for a estimate. The electrician providing the estimate was easy to communicate with and explained what they could do most easily (and hence least expensively). The electrician who performed the work was similarly easy to work with. He worked efficiently and communicated regarding small decisions needing to be made as the work progressed. The work involved running new wiring through the attic space in both my home and garage. Both aspects were done well and without disrupting or damaging anything.

Fantastic electrician. Had to take the fixture down & took it with him to rewire the fixture. Brought it back within a few days, rehung & the fixture works great.

They showed up on time and went right to work. We used a 2 man team, and they worked well together. Efficient and hard working. Very polite and helpful.

They cleaned up after their work, ensured that everything was in good working order as we expected and our town home has a new updated look from the install of the ceiling fans and repair of out kitchen lighting. Could not provide service needed

One of my circuit breakers wouldn't reset and I feared the worst. Further, I'm not eager to go digging around in my breaker box. I called Brothers to inquire whether this was a fix I could do myself and presuming it wasn't, how much it would cost to have them come out. The woman I spoke with was able to answer my questions by giving me some things to do before having someone come out. I checked the GFIs and replaced the breaker with no troubles and that fixed the problem! I may not have needed them this time, but next time I do need an electrician, I'm definitely calling Brothers.

They did a very good job. Their quote was reasonable and their work was well done. Their communication was also very good.

I called brothers as I had another bid from them on a previous job. They came in at a fair price and Kevin was helpful when he came out to price my bid. I was not here when they arrived to do the work but I talked to them on the phone. They were not familiar with the panasonic whisper fan I wanted to install so they had to call the manufacturer in order to figure out how to wire it. They were polite and did work through the issues. In my conversation on the phone with the installer, I was clear which direction I wanted the fan installed telling him to face it away from the window and to the East. Instead he faced the fan to the West making it difficult to vent the fan properly. As a result the fan is not as efficient as it should be because there is not enough room to run three feet of venting before the elbow. I was disappointed to find out that he had installed the fan in the wrong direction and we had no time to correct it before other work was scheduled. Another disappointment is they did not bother or attempt to clean up after themselves. I don't know if I would hire them again. All the actual work was good other than the incorrect direction of the fan vent, but that was kind of a big one for me. They also bought too many trip outlets and installed one where it was not necessary yet still charged me for it. They took money for filing for a permit, but never actually filled it. Overall good price and they were friendly but incorrect direction of fan installation and the fact they did not clean up kind of killed it for me.

Great people from office to on-site. Easy to work with. They came when they said they would for both estimate and actual work. FAST turnaround of the work estimate. Two men working together completed all the work in a single day - four new light fixtures installed (two purchased directly from Brothers upon their recommendation), multiple outlets repaired or added, and additional power sources in two rooms for air conditioners. It was a lot of work, sometimes challenging with outdoor / indoor requirements. Afterwards the electrical inspector approved all work with quick walk through.

I was very impressed by the service Brother's provided through the estimate to the actual job. The estimate was very thorough and since I wanted to provide the parts they even helped me select them online. The estimator even came back once he realized that he should double check a panel to make sure he told me the right thing. On the day of the job we actually had a snow storm and I thought they might cancel, but they made it out and even replaced the spotlight light bulbs on top of a very tall flagpole. Throughout the process they answered all my emails and it turned out to be a good experience. I would use them again and would recommend Brother's to my friends.

Brothers Electric were very prompt in responding to our inquiry from Angie's List. The other contractors we contacted either did not respond or took several days before replying. As the inspection was required for closing on our home timeliness was of the essence. They were prompt for our scheduled appointment and provided a thorough review of the home's electrical. We were very happy with the service.

We called Brothers Electric because we had a hood fan that went our in our kitchen. They came the next day after I had called late in the afternoon about 36+ hours after I had called. They said that was as soon as they could get some one out there. I explained the problem and the guy started looking around the outlet where the hood fan switch is located on the wall. After checking all the outlets on that wall to see if any of them were connected and needed to simply be reset, he then went on to check connections in the ceiling, then checked the fan that the motor went out on, then checked the fuse box, then went back to checking up in the ceiling. After taking about 2.5 hours and not figuring it out he then went back up on the roof and checked our two roof top units for about another .5 hour. Which had nothing to do with the problem at all. All this time he was on and off the phone with someone at his office trying to get some advice on what to do next. He then tells me that he can't figure it out and is going to have one of the owners come out the next day. So at that point needing our hood fanto be working I went to the wall that he started at and said are you sure that you've checked everything? I saw an outlet that had a red light lit up and asked "is that the reset light that's on?" He went over and look saw it right away and said he check there right when he got there and couldn't see it because it was blocked by something. I then noted that he had no trouble seeing it right away when he looked the second time. I then hit the reset button and it all was fixed. He wrote out the bill for us and proceeded to charge us for about 4 hours of labor. Now, I realized I needed to pay for a truck charge and some labor for him coming out, but he tried to charge me about $400, when I was the one who saved his butt from looking like an idiot when his boss came the next day and pressed the reset button to fix it all. I would never have them out for any service again.

Service person was prompt, courteous, dressed neatly and helpful. We would hire them again.

Very pleased with the work. Came a day or two after I called. Worked very efficiently. Did all the work within the minimum hourly charge. This included installing the battery operated door bell that I thought I would have to install myself. There was a $15 coupon and no travel charge for Angie's List members.

I called Brothers Electric mid-afternoon to explain what I needed. They understood that it was a simple job of just tying off electrical cords from an an electric range that had just been removed. One of their workers had enough time at the end of his day so that same day he stopped by (about two hours after I called) to do the work. It only took a few minutes, and he was very pleasant and professional.
