Brennan Heikes Professional Painting

Brennan and his crew are very responsive, punctual, and they do great work. My garage exterior, my living room ceiling, and living room walls are all very clean and sharp, no splotches, drips, or streaks. They have great attention to detail in the quality of their work and even the clean up well afterwards.

Very, very well. I could not have been happier with how things turned out. All of the windows look brand new. I thought this was a bargain for all of the work that was done.

Mr. Heikes and his crew painted the whole interior house (walls & ceilings)--@ 3,000 square feet, including a two story entryway. Both Brennan and his crew were extremely professional. They started on Monday 12/8/14 and finished Saturday 12/13/14. Heikes & his crew noted & resolved paint issues that I may well not have noticed.We have a surplus of animals residing in the house. Heikes and his crew worked very well with this issue and scheduled work around animal relocation. Further, his crew insured at the end of each day, that we would be able to use critical spaces (master bedroom/bath; kitchen; family room)when they were not present and working.I cannot say enough positives about this experience.Not only would I use Mr. Heikes again, I would highly recommend his services.

From the beginning it was very easy to communicate with Brennan. He was prompt about returning calls/ emails, he was able to get me on the schedule exactly where I wanted to be, and always showed up on time. He really seems to care about customer satisfaction. Brennan and his team did a fantastic job from the beginning prep work, through the painting and with the final clean-up. I had some walls that were in rough shape and they were able to make them look great. I have a lot of wood trim, closet doors and shelves that needed to be painted and that looks great also. I will definitely be using them again.

We were very happy with Brennan and his team. He was very easy to get ahold of and responded to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner. When I called to set up an estimate he came the very same day and I felt his price was very fair. They worked with us to match our existing paint and we are very happy with how it came out. We have some painting projects in our future and we will use them again.

Brennan arrived to give an estimate the same day I requested one, and walked through each room explaining how everything would be prepped. He sent an estimate that same day or the very next. Painting began within a week, on the day I requested, and Brennan and his team were always professional and polite. Brennan was very patient when I needed more time to decide on 2 colors and quickly got me back on the schedule when I was ready. Brennan was great at keeping communication open throughout the whole process. Although they used the wrong color on one of the ceilings initially (understandable with 3 different trim colors for this job), I caught the mistake and they immediately did it over with the correct color that same day, no problem, no hassle, whatsoever. They touched up the newly painted trim that the carpet installer banged up. Brennan did a final walk-through to check everything over and still gave me the option of letting him know later if I found something that needed correcting. Their skilled work really shined when they painted dark-colored paint right up against the light-colored crown molding and our wood trim that we didn't want to change. Everything they painted looks fantastic.

The team of painters did a great job. We are very pleased with the work and have had several neighbors comment on how wonderful the house looks. There was quite a bit of repair work on wood trim and stucco that was completed. Brennan and the team were flexible when we made some changes or needed some additional work through the course of the project. They had to work around some weather, and were careful not to rush the work so that each coat of paint had sufficient time to dry. The team did a good job cleaning up as well. We received several estimates, all from Angie's list service providers, for the cost of the work that varied widely. We were amazed that one service provider gave us an estimate that was over double that of Brennan's. Brennan and his team delivered high quality work at a reasonable cost.

Brennan was very professional and prompt. We were to get the job within 1 week of contacting him for a bid/service. I would highly recommend.

Our experience with Brennan and his team was excellent. Brennan completed a thorough walk through, followed by a detailed written estimate of the work to be performed. The final cost of the project was exactly as he estimated. His team was punctual, polite, and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. The outdoor work was a bit delayed due to rainy weather, but Brennan kept in close contact with us. He worked hard to finish as quickly as possible, while ensuring the quality of the paint job was top notch. Brennan was flexible and accommodating when we asked for additional paint work to be completed in a short time frame. We have received many compliments on the new paint and look forward to using Brennan and his team again.

Brennan and his crew did an excellent job. This is the second time I have used Brennan Heikes painting and they did another fine job. The work was done quickly and professionally. They were very tidy.

The project could not have gone more smoothly. Even when we were requesting an estimate, Brennan was careful to walk us through each step in the planned painting process and worked with us in selecting a color combination that would work and stand up. Despite a busy schedule (due to the prolonged wet and cold spring), Brennan's crew showed up when promised. After power washing the entire exterior and allowing it to dry thoroughly, the crew worked in sequenced shifts. A lead team scraped down and filled the wood trim, the next team primed our well-preserved but old chalky stucco with a special primer to clean and improve adhesion of the surface, then Brennan sprayed a special Sherwin Williams formula for stucco using a power sprayer. They finished by priming and putting two coats on the trim. The work was very carefully done with attention to detail. Even though we were switching some surfaces from a dark brown to a light cream paint, the paint was evenly applied and shows no signs of the old paint. There was no overspraying, and the trim pieces were painted cleanly and evenly. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day. Finally, after we had old storm windows replaced this year, they came back and completely repainted the exposed trim (not just the bare spots) for a very reasonable amount. Our project has received rave reviews from all our neighbors (and several passers-by) and left us with the feeling that we have made the house "ours." I would definitely recommend them (and in fact have done so).

I got an estimate from Brennan Heikes in spring 2014 for summer painting of our south Minneapolis house exterior. His estimate was the middle of the three I received and I chose him because his explanation of the project and cost was the most realistic/straightforward/understandable. He showed up with a professional crew in late July and proceeded to meet all my expectations. They did a proper prep on the house that took several days of work and then did a very professional paint job. He had a crew of about 6 working on our home and all were professional, timely, clean, good about cleaning up in evening. They did a great job on our wood siding, which was peeling a lot, and they were also good with our old windows, which were divided light and required a lot of detail work and painting. Brennan checked in on the job every day and was around to perform the painting work and was there all day on the final day for final detail work, pick-up, clean-up, payment, etc. He stayed true to his estimate and the resulting work was very good. Very professional in all respects.

All painters (3 + Brennan) were courteous and cleaned up their work daily. Painting was done with precision. Brennan is very personable yet professional. We're pleased and have hired them to do interior work later on.

They completed the job in one day. They patched nail holes and touched up wood work. Brennan was very responsive to my emails and delivered everything as promised. They finished a 1/2 day earlier than promised. We were very pleased and would definitely use them again. Brennan was a pleasure to work with.

There are plenty of contractors who do not return calls. I would expect and hope a company with 50+ reviews on Angie's List would stand above the rest, but it fell into the same category as the rest of the contractors who are unreliable, undependable and unprofessional. We found several great companies that are willing to come out and give us bids. Eventually one was chosen to paint our home in a couple of months.

All work was performed carefully and thoroughly. Brennan and his team were very conscientious in their work at all times. They were neat-- no spills or messes. They were very careful not to damage vegetation next to the house. Brennan and all of his workers were very pleasant and easy to work with. We were very pleased with the quality of their painting; it was a first-rate job. We would be happy to hire Brennan again.

I think he was very thoughtful, easy to get along with, extremely punctual. Great job in helping me match painting. Did a great job! Covered all thing, cleaned up after themselves wonderfully. Very particular about their job. I can't say enough good about him! I will definitely rehire him! It was a very big job.

Did the estimate the day I called. Estimate was very clear. Price was very competitive. He works with a crew of 3-4, but was onsite himself for the day they painted. The first day they had the wallpaper off and one coat of paint in the living room. Did a good jog of cleaning up. Second day finished the job. For the radiator paint, he took one of the covers to get a match. There was some touch-up work which he came back to do himself. Three things were especially good: the speed of the job; his communication before, during and after the work, the price.

Everything went awesome. Color matching was painless, the crew was professional and accommodating for the business schedule. The crew was also presentable to represent their business and to fit well in a professional office. Brennan and his crew is at the top of our list to call back for future jobs. Pricing was honest and very competitive. You can't go wrong.

The work was done on time and well. Brennan sprayed all cabinets, doors and trim. The area was well protected and clean when he finished. We would recommend Brennan.

Brennan Heikes did an outstanding job for us. Takes great pride in his workmanship and it shows. He treated our house as if it were his. His honesty and integrity in providing us the best results possible for our needs was incredible. He was able to save us several thousand dollars by coming up with a plan for our kitchen remodel that provided us with a quality job bar none at an extremely reasonable price. I know this for a fact, because I had gotten bids from others and they included in their bids work that was not necessary. Brennan was honest enough to explain to us what he could do to cut costs yet maintain the quality of the job. He was punctual and cleaned up after he left each day. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Brennan to anyone who asks. If you use Brennan you won't regret it. I feel very lucky that I was able to find Brennan out of all the names on Angie's list. By the way, before I hired Brennan I didn't know him.

They did a really great job. Overall it was a wonderful experience. They worked very quickly and the quality of work was even greater than I expected. I will definitely be hiring these guys in the future.

Brennan was very responsive, friendly, professional and tidy throughout the entire project. He showed up on time as promised for both the estimate and each day of the project. Brennan finished a head of schedule and the job looks outstanding. Although he was not the lowest bidder, he was very close to the cheapest out of 4 bids. His professionalism and promptness and overall positive attitude was the main selling point in picking him over the low bidder. His actions lived up to his words. I have never paid someone to paint anything-but Brennan made it so easy, I will never paint again. I would not hesitate in using Brennan Heikes again!!!

It went exceptionally well. Brennan was professional, prompt and warm - he promptly arrived to provide an estimate, he was ready to roll on the agreed upon start date (even though I needed some flexibility on determining that date at the start), and completed the work on the timeline we discussed. Brennan and his crew were also on time each day on the job and took care to ensure they worked quietly and cleaned up each night - we hardly knew they were there! We will absolutely work with Brenan again on future projects.
