+ -1 moreThis is the second time I've had Brennan paint the interior of our home. Brennan painted our kitchen to the exact specifications given via email. The kitchen turned out so beautiful I spent the majority of the evening sitting in it and enjoying the new color. My younger son wanted a baseball theme bedroom. Brennan painted the top half of the room in white, the chair rail in red and the bottom half in blue. The colors were to vibrant and was my vision put on canvas. The bathroom turned out great, brighing it up and adding color to a dead space. I intend to use Brennan again this year to paint the common areas of my home. He's the only painter I use and the only one I trust to get the work exactly the way I want, without me having to be at home.

+ -1 moreThe original paint job of the previous owners wasn't the best as there were streaky patches and a lot of rough spots. Brennan and his team did an excellent job correcting the issues, puttying and smoothing out wall blemishes, and applying necessary coats of paint for a beautiful finish. Brennan also fixed the ceiling edges of the master bedroom and cleaned up where the old paint color bled and went rogue onto the white ceiling. The number one thing I asked for was clean lines on corners and ceilings so that edges looked clean and neat: Brennan and his team did a GREAT job on that! When I first reached out to Brennan for a quote, I told him I wanted work done ASAP and he was upfront about being booked out a few wks with other jobs. However, he was able to take a look at our house within days to offer a prompt estimate. And even better, due to weather restricting his jobs outside, he was able to complete work for us much earlier than expected! I had a few colors in mind, and when Brennan asked me what brands and color codes they were, I realized he was very focused on giving the customer what we wanted. I was more concerned about using the best brand/type of paints than specific colors so ended up picking colors from the BEHR line per Brennan's suggestion when I asked what brands were good. The results are awesome: the 3 rooms Brennan and his team worked on look completely new and beautiful. We will certainly be calling on him to do some more work in the house once we are ready to tackle those projects. Another thing I liked about working with Brennan is that he takes a lot of ownership in the work of his company, coming out to assess and then email clients directly with clear quotes. It's another great bonus that he himself comes out to get the job completed vs 'outsourcing' to all hired folks.

+ -1 moreWe obtained estimates from three Angie's List painting contractors in March, 2013. Brennan provided the middle estimate. We selected Brennan because we were impressed with the thoroughness of his written estimate and the professionalism of his feedback. Brennan said he was almost fully booked for the summer, but thought he'd be able to start August 12, 2013. Despite the miserable spring weather, which no doubt delayed some of his early-season jobs, Brennan kept the August 12 start date. Brennan and his crew did a thorough, high-quality job. They power-washed, scraped, and caulked, and even repaired damaged pieces of siding. Instead of merely painting around the seven downspouts, they removed and painted behind them. They removed shutters, painted both sides, and rehung them. The pergola was an addition to the job, and Brennan agreed to do it on one day's notice. Brennan and his team finished the job in four days, and cleaned up immaculately each day. We have received compliments from numerous people in the neighborhood, and have passed Brennan's name on to several. We heartily recommend Brennan.
Description of Work: Brennan and his crew painted the exterior of our two-story, wood-sided house, and wood-treated our backyard cedar pergola.

Based on the the other reviews of his work I'm sure he does a great job. He missed the first appointment we scheduled, called a week later to set up another time. I was not available that week but suggested he just come by the house to determine what was needed for exterior painting. It was okay with me that I would not be there. I never received an estimate.

They were punctual and neat - I have lots of plants around my house and while I can't say they all survived untouched, I was impressed with the care he took to keep the plants as safe as possible. The quality of his work is excellent - I will use his company again.

We decided to use 2 different colors because of the character style of the home from the 1920's. Both my husband and Brennan was skeptical on how the outcome would look. + 0 moreBrennan's crew of 6 guys worked 6 days and did a terrific job of power washing and prepping the house and then gave it two coats of paint. The trim painting is exceptional, the house sparkles in the sun. They clean up all of their work. The price was worth every cent.

It was a lot of work and after they left I didn't find one thing to complain about. They came in, got to work, took care with my furniture, and got it done. Brennan said it would be done to my satisfaction and it was. I would definitely use them again as we couldn't be happier with the outcome. No need to look any further folks,
Description of Work: Painted bedroom, family room, skylights and kitchen - cabinets and beadboard. He chaulked the beadboard and where ever else it was needed. The work was done beautifully.

+ -1 moreBrennan and his team were exceptionally professional, pleasant and did great work on our home. Brennan turned over an destimate quickly, and was able to schedule the work fairly immediately (even though we took our time deciding on final colors). He offered input on the radiator color when we requested it, gave us his opinion on paint sheen, and quickly amended the estimate when we asked to add a few things. The job came in a bit below the estimate because Brennan was able to use some paint we already had. The results in our home are meticulous. He and his team worked quickly, moved all furniture for the painting and then back into place and covered all surfaces. Their clean-up was also meticulous (we did have some dust from the wall/ceiling repair, but it was dust - I don't know how that can be avoided). They did a great job with ventilation when working - we thought for sure we'd have to sleep somewhere else for a night, because we had so many rooms done, but fumes were no problem. One outlet cover cracked when they were replacing it and Brennan notified us right away and offered to reimburse the cost. These are small things - but it's the right way to do a job. Best of all, Brennan was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. I felt assured that if anything had come up during or after the job, he would have addressed it to make sure we were satisfied. THing is, they did a great job and we really didn't have any concerns that needed to be addressed. We would definitely hire Brennan again if we needed more painting done. He and his team were a pleasure to work with.

+ -1 moreBrennan and his team were FABULOUS! He came out to quote on a Saturday, which was convenient, and worked around my work schedule to get a date to do the painting. Because he had such a great team of four guys, they were able to paint my condo, including ceiling, in just one day. The end result is what I've been wanting for years - clean, fresh, airy, and just great to come home to. You can get lower quotes but you can't get the quality you'll achieve with Brennan and his pros.
Description of Work: These great guys did my condo interior, which has high ceilings, soffits, and lots of cabinetry to paint around.

Description of Work: Brennan and his team have worked with us throughout the renovation of our 1930s farmhouse. He and his team did an excellent job and are fun to have hanging around the house and I trust them to be here when I am not here. Brennan and his team painted every inch of our 4660 sq. ft house and when it came time to put in on the market they made time to come in and do touch ups for me! They worked well with the rest of the contractors and organized days and times to be here with our project manager!

Description of Work: Removed wall paper from several rooms. One of the rooms, the laundry had cabinets upper and lower and the work in removing the wallpaper was shoddy. I can still see pieecs of hte wallpaper right at the edges of the cabinets. Overall the paiting was ok nothing to write home about but there were notable exceptions. The powder room was substandard. I had to go back and forth with Brenan several times. The first time I told him it looked like someone else did that room and he answered yeah must have been so and so. He said he would come back to fix which he did although he could never seem to come when I would be there. I told him tell me a time that works for you and I will be there. Even with that he failed to show up and only came when he knew I was not going to be around. Always using an excuse about his kid, had to pick up or whatever. After fixing ?? the powder room, I was doing a good cleaning of it only to notice that they did not paint behind the toliet. The toliet is a Kohler and has a rounded tank that does not abut the wall. It was a glaring error. When I called him to say I had some issues with the powder room he acted surprised (I don't thik he even did anything to correct the first time). If he had in fact come out to look at it the first time he would have seen it. They also got paint on the light fixture, overall sloppy. The other thing with them is that they did nto even mention things that in their professional opinion should have been brought to my attention. For example, I had the kitchen and family room remodeled and the ceiling was painted by the person doing the remodeling. I told them thta and t hought it thus did not nneed to be done. Well it was clear after Brennan's team was done thta the ceiling should have been done as well because in the corners ther were areas unpainted. They did not even bring it to my attention as something I might want to address. My impression is thta they have overextended themselves and can not propoerly do the job, are not looking to add to a particular job where it is necessary.

Project took a little longer than he thought but they finished after one long day. Very friendly and professional. Clean up suffered a little do the late hour of finishing up the job but overall they did a great job and were a great value. Would definitely use them again.

The painters worked quickly but were very careful with the detailed trim work so the finished painting job looks fresh and sharp. The front porch roof was damaged by placement of ladders that were used to paint the areas above the porch, but Mr. Heikes took care of the repairs in a timely way and at his own expense. Also, he was very accommodating in scheduling the house painting job to coordinate with an insulation job that I was having done at the same time.
Description of Work: Scraped and painted trim on 2nd and 3rd floors of the front of the house. Pressure-washed and painted all of the siding on the house and the garage.

+ -1 moreMy experience was AMAZING! Brennan was super prompt responding to my message requesting a meeting for an estimate. He showed up right on time, and was personable and professional. We live in an older home, and he knew exactly what he'd do for the cracks in the textured plaster we were experiencing. His bid came in that night, and it was really reasonable for everything we needed done. Brennan was able to do my job right when I wanted it scheduled (although he is busy enough I think it's important to be flexible when seeking his work). Once here, the project went splendidly. I have never seen a crew work together so well.They knew who would do what and got right down to business. The surfaces were prepped perfectly. My home and its contents were treated so respectfully. I picked a couple of crazy bright colors which took some work to get right on the wall, and the only thing I heard was concern about getting it right. My whole house was transformed, and I was entirely comfortable during the process. The work is so beautiful, I keep inviting people to come over and see it. I look forward to having Brennan paint my top floor next.

He said that he could schedule the work soon because I had a short time frame to get this done. He said that he does the work himself along with a crew. I liked that. The next day he emailed me a bid. I received three bids and his was in the middle. I would not hesitate to have him do work for us in the future. He was very knowledgeable and professional.
