Contacted thru their website, requested an estimate. They promptly stopped by when I was out and left an estimate for services. We ultimately chose to go with a different service based on reviewing options and who we thought would be the best fit for us, but Bratt was a very close second choice, based on their prompt service and excellent Angies List reviews

They were extremely prompt (same day) responding to my request for estimate. I asked some questions and they were helpful and work was done on the day they said it would be done. It was all done in an hour and all debris was removed. They took a few dead branches off my lilac and my large shrub and put them in the chipper at no charge. My neighbor also used them with the same results.

We needed a large tree removed on very short notice. Bratt Tree Company was really accommodating, working around another contractor to complete the job in the required time frame. In one afternoon, they removed the tree, ground the stump, and cleaned up the yard. They were great to work with.

They hauled away everything after the work was done. They had honored a quote that was given to us last year. What we liked about them was that they did it all in one day. They brought their shredder trucks and bucket trucks. There were also people with chainsaws. They came in the morning and were finished by noon. It's nice to use a company that can do the job right the first time.

Submitted request online to have overall health of trees evaluated and an estimate for trimming of two gigantic trees in my yard. Received estimate within 1-2 days of online submission request and price beat the 4-5 other estimates received. I returned the purchase order provided with the estimate and was scheduled for service within a week. I was not able to be there during the work, but was very pleased with the job done when I got home. Trees look great, fence was removed and replaced for access to the yard, and all debris was removed from my yard and my neighbors. Except for the trees looking fantastic, it was hard to tell that they were there.

I requested an estimate online at their website and Jon was out within a couple days. I had a verbal estimate right away and a confirmation bid in the mail a few days later. I called with some questions which were answered politely and professionally. I called their insurance company, which checked out, so I sent in their work order. They scheduled the work, came out right when they said they would and were done in a day. Everything was very professional and they are very skilled and pleasant to work with. They gave me a substantial winter discount--I would highly recommend planning tree work for March.

The Bratt Tree service team removed 6 very large and difficult to get to trees on our property. They were very organized and efficient both before and during the removal as Xcel energy and a crane service were required to be involved. They handled ALL of the details. The entire removal went off with out a hitch. It was incredible to watch. They are excellent. I have used them in the past and am again convinced that they are an outstanding service provider.

They didn't damage any of the vegetables that were right underneath it. They did a nice job. They were very professional. They got us the quote quickly and as well the invoice when it was done.

I can't think of a home service that was better executed and more reasonably priced. Great company.

This is the third time I have hired Bratt tree company to do tree work. I had a family emergency on the day they were to complete the work and could not be home. Since I have had excellent service with Bratt tree in the past, I was not concerned that the work needed to be supervised. when I came home, the work was completed as stated in the estimate. They did an excellent job, and cleaned away all debris. I highly recomend Bratt tree. They are very professional in their workmanship.

A big tree branch fell in our back yard, ripping off a big chunk of the trunk; Bratt sent out an estimator and noted it was unlikely the tree would survive that. We agreed, so they quoted us a price to remove the tree. We got a discount for waiting till winter, which was great. Today they came out to do the work -- it's 2 degrees F out! I thought they might reschedule but they came out when they said they would. It didn't take them long. The first worker to arrive shoveled a path to the back yard, climbed pretty far up the tree and, as he was held on via harness, sawed chunks off till he had it down to a stump. A couple other workers arrived with a wood chipper that they parked at the front curb-- they dragged all the pieces to the chipper, chipped it all up, cleaned up the back yard and even raked the snow back over the path the first guy had shoveled when he arrived. Very professional, very clean work, done quickly. I can't find my initial quote so the price I noted above is an approximation-- but they are worth the price. We will definitely be contacting this company again, next time we need this sort of job done. They are AMAZING.

My experience with them was very good. They were very good to work with, and they provided good, timely service. I have had no problems with them. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

They were very professional. He came out almost immediately after I called him in the morning. When we decided to use him the next day, they came over immediately from another job to take the branch off. Everything was done within a half hour, cleaned up and everything.

Received a quote in the mail within a week. Called and had the work scheduled within a week. Team came out and ground 2 additional stumps for no charge. They raked and removed all evidence of the trees and stumps. They filled in the holes with black dirt. They were very friendly and professional.

Bratt Tree did an EXCEPTIONAL job from start to finish. The tree we were having removed was huge, and hung over 2 houses. John Bratt was terrific to work with, his crew was on time and efficient. I was amazed at how quickly and carefully they were able to get my tree down. We live on a busy street, adding an additiona layer of complication, but they took care of everything. They cleaned up everything. They even chipped some trimmings we were planning to get rid of from another tree. There is no other company I would ever use, and I recommend them to all my friends. From start to finish, an terrific experience.

Bratt Tree Company has very reasonable prices. I did not interact with the crew personally, but the work always seemed to go well. They would clean up after themselves and the trees would look good when they were finished.

The work was done professionally, in less time than expected. All the debris was cleaned up and they left us logs to use as firewood (at our request). Also ground another stump in the yard for free. John warned us about damage to the grass from the huge pieces of branches and trunk, and there was some but it wasn't bad (and it was expected).

Very professional, very quickly done, quick to respond to request for quote, showed up on time! Gave good advice on keeping the 'good' trees healthy. Took down the phone and cable lines and put back up when done (and better than they found them!). Second time with these guys, really feel they're pros.

Exceeded our expectations. The price was much better than any of the other bids we received. And a mulberry bush was removed for no extra charge. Communication was good throughout the process. The person was easy to deal with, very professional, did what he promised, and left the yard clean and in everything on site in good condition. We would highly recommend to others and use Bratt Tree Company again ourselves.

I sent an email request for an estimate and Jon Bratt was over to the house in just a few days. His estimate was at least $100 less than others I had received. He mailed me a copy of the estimate and the work was done about a week later. The dead tree was not in a very good position as it was directly over a neighbor's chicken coop, near a wire, on a fence line and close to two homes. The guys did a great job and a good clean up afterward. Also, they offer a cold weather discount during the months of December thru March, I believe. I saved $500 having this work done in March rather than in the summer.

I wanted certain large tree branches cut from the tree. Bratt tree company wanted to make certain which branches I wanted cut, they were on time and did an excellent job. They were very professional in their work and it shows. I highly recommend Bratt Tree Company.

Everything was smooth and easy. The bid was prompt and clear. The work was done perfectly. Everyone was professional and courteous. No surprises at all. They were also very very very good communicators. They even let my three sons and their friends watch them work and waved at them and were very kind to them.

Initially, we were very pleased with Jon Bratt and his company. We emailed a request for an estimate in August 07 that was responded to within the week. The price was in the ballpark with the other estimates. We arranged to take advantage of the cold weather discount, and have the work done between December and April. He came with his heavy equipment and trimmed three 30 ft oak trees in our back yard (dead wood only), and did a complete trim on the 12 ft oak in our front yard. This work was done in April, 2008. He arrived on time, protected the landscaping and cleaned up fairly well. I was pleased - initially. The week of June 10th, after the trees had leafed out, I noticed that he had completely missed two large branches on the Ash tree. They are dead and very noticeable. I called his company and left a voice mail with the secretary who apologized and said Jon would get back to me shortly. I never heard from him. I left another voicemail on his cellphone explaining my concern, and again, never heard from him. On October 9th, I sent a letter via US Mail to Jon requesting that he arrange to come and remove the two dead branches he had missed. No response. Then I emailed him on the company website on October 21st. When I initially requested the first estimate a year ago by this email, I got a fast estimate, so I tried this approach again. No response. It is now November 4th, so I'd say it's fair to say he will not be coming to complete the work to my satisfaction. I did not want to give him a negative report, and that is why I gave him four chances to make it right, but he has chosen to ignore the job. Bratt Tree Care is one of the companies the City of Minneapolis contracts with to remove the diseased trees they red-ring. I guess he gets enough business from them.

They did a great job, prompt and careful. And they carefully cleaned the yard. We would definitely use them again.

It was fine. They did the job when they were supposed to and within the time frame. The price was reasonable opposed to the others. I was very happy with the results.
