Bonfes Plumbing Heating & Air Service Inc

I discovered my water heater was leaking on a Sunday night. Bonfe replaced it on a Sunday night for $3800 (4 people 2 bathrooms). I felt I had no choice and had to get it fixed to save my house from being damaged. When I expressed despair at the high cost the Bonfe plumber made no alternative suggestions. He was only willing to do the job then and there for that price and I felt I had no other options at the time. My husband was, and still is deployed, I work full-time and two very busy middle age kids. I am beyond tired and at my limit every minute of every day. Subsequently, the next two times (on my own again b/c my husband is still deployed) I needed a plumber/air conditioning service, I did not call Bonfe. I found out that Bonfe plumbers work on commission. UGH! I feel so stupid and taken. Also, I have come to realize I could have drained my water heater and gotten it fixed during the week. I can deal without a shower and hot water to save a couple thousand any day. I called Bonfe and inquired as to why the job was so expensive (I get it was a Sunday night, but still) and I was told they are expensive because they back up their work and provide great service. I am one of those who cannot afford their great service :(

Very rarely do we have any issues. They're right in line with everybody else. They just delivered what they promised and what we asked for.
