BOB'S SEWER SERVICE

My tenants next door reported that the kitchen sink was backing up so I made an attempt to deal with it myself. It was unsuccessful and I was advised to just pay the money and get a sewer service to totally clean out the pipes. Though it took a day or so to get in touch with him (he works with an answering service) when I finally talked to Bob he said he could come right over! He's a jolly older guy and assured me that it looked like I had a very routine problem. He joked a little with my tenants and half an hour later reported that everything was fixed. He diagnosed the problem with the kitchen sink as too much pasta down the drain and the utility sink had paint in it, likely from the previous homeowner. I was very relieved to have such a painless and relatively inexpensive solution to the problem.

Bob had great communication. I was late and he waited at the house for a bit of time for me to get home. He was in an out in no time and was very courteous. He left us to clear out some extra debris in the line because he had to make it to the next appointment. This was fine because I was late in the first place, so lost that time for myself. I will definitely call Bob again for any drain/sewer line cleaning we may have. And the price is right.

I caught Bob's Plumbing at 3pm on a beautiful Friday afternoon. The guy (can't remember the name) was there within the hour. It wasn't easy, but with their big electric snake he got the drain cleared. The guy also put together the drain and trap back together again (I had given up on that task; another reason I called Bob's). He also cleaned up all the grime under sink and on the floor (mostly from my earlier efforts). Their service was worth every penny. The shower later felt mighty fine. I went with this guy after researching on Angie's List. Bob's had a great rating. Yes, I got grime on my keyboard, too. Thanks to Bob's and Angie's List; it made for a nice weekend.

Our line usually backs up on the weekend and this time was no exception, with it happening on Sunday around noon. Having used Bob for several years, I knew that he has regular hours 7 days a week and actually doesn't charge overtime fees. I left a message for him around noon and it actually took him a little longer than usual to get back to us. He called back about 4pm and said he would be out shortly. As I mentioned, we've used him many times and I had expected that it might be a few hours before he might get back to us. He is a one person operation, so sometimes it takes him a little longer. But I've ALWAYS been happy with his service and pricing.

We've used Bob in the past at our last house and found him very honest, professional, hard-working and trustworthy. The fact that he came same-day and then even replaced the pipes, on top of clearing the blockage, was much appreciated. He stayed past 5 pm to finish the job, and kept the bathroom tidy. Charging only $76 for parts and labor is (in my opinion) a wonderful deal. At looking at other plumbing companies, his rates can't be beat.

Bob called back right away and was able to come out within the day. He was courteous and did not leave a mess in the basement.

Their price seemed very reasonable so we were pleased about that. The work was done quickly and efficiently which only gave us a great feeling of the company overall. We will be using this company again because they are dependable and trustworthy.

I was very concerned that I had a major plumbing issue on my hands when I tried everything at home to un-clog these drains - products, plunger, and hand held snake. It was starting to look like a big basement plumbing job. I called Bob's service, he got back to me right away, arrived promptly, wheeled in a giant motorized snake, and un-clogged the drain. All of this took less than fifteen minutes. He was very pleasant and efficient and I was so happy with the results.

Bob has cleaned my drain many times for a reasonable price. This time for some reason he wanted to tear up carpeting and remove concrete that sealed the main access point (which had been permanently sealed before I purchased the house). I asked him to go through the vertical pipe as he always had before, but he grumbled about doing so. When I asked why, he said he would have a longer distance to clean and that the problem was by the street (as it turned out, it wasn't). The bottom line is that he used a snake with a diameter too small for the job, opened the drain temporarily, left sewage leaking around the access point, and was disrespectful when I called him a week later when the drain clogged again. Roto Rooter completed the job using the same access point and much larger equipment with no problem.

Originally, my husband and I thought that our main sewer line to the street needed clearing out, but Bob figured out that wasn't necessary and it was just a clog near the main drain opening. We appreciated his honesty and he knew both of us worked during the week, so he offered to come out on the weekend and it didn't cost anything extra. He even called on the way over, to let us know that he was going to be late and he was only about 10 minutes late because, he had taken a wrong turn. And last but not least, Bob is just a nice guy. His prices are also about half of what I had paid previously for Roto Rooter.

BOB WAS PLEASANT, EFFICIENT AND METICULOUS ABOUT THE CLEAN-UP. HIS EXPERIENCE CLEARLY SHOWED IN HIS QUICK ANALYSIS AND RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM. HIS QUICK RESPONSE TIME WAS MOST APPRECIATED.

FANTASTIC! THIS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED BY OUR TRUSTED PLUMBER, AND WE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. HE CAME OUT THE SAME DAY, AND HIS PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. WHEN A COMPLICATION AROSE A FEW DAYS LATER, HE CAME BACK TO THE HOUSE AND FIXED IT WITHOUT ANY CHARGE. RETURNED CALLS PROMPTLY AND WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND EASY TO WORK WITH. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

WE CALLED HIM SATURDAY NIGHT AND HE CAME OUT ON SUNDAY MORNING TO FIX OUR PROBLEM AND DID NOT CHARGE US A THING. VERY SERVICE ORIENTED!!!!

BOB HAS CLEANED OUT MY MAIN SEWER LINE FOUR TIMES OVER THE YEARS WHEN TREE ROOTS HAVE CLOGGED IT UP. HE IS VERY RESPONSIVE, ALWAYS RETURNING CALLS PROMPTLY AND IS USUALLY ABLE TO DO THE JOB WITHIN A FEW HOURS. HE IS FRIENDLY AND THOROUGH.
