+ -1 moreKevin was prompt in providing an estimate of the work he would do, seemed to know what materials to use and was easy to work with. He did an excellent and thorough job staining the fence for the first time and made sure I was happy with his work and the product.

+ -1 moreI could not believe that all the work could be completed in time for them to open the bakery on Wednesday at 6:30 am , but it was perfect thanks to the very hard work done by kevin.
Description of Work: My family bought a bakery that was in terrible condition. They expected to be able to paint over 4 days, but learned they could not get in until 2 days later than planned. With the tight timeframe, I hired Blue Ladder Painting to do the painting for them. Kevin did an amazing job from cleaning and preping the walls to keeping the various colors straight as the walls were different colors. Knowing the deadline they were under he worked very long days and even found a few minutes to help my son in law figure out how to install new counters. The amount he charged was very inexpensive given the number of hours he put in in those 2 days.

HE DID NOT TELL ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE THAT LONG, AND AFTER A FEW CALLS, I FIGURED HE WOULD NEVER COME. I HAD A FAIRLY OPEN TIME FRAME WHEN HE COULD WORK, BUT HE JUST COULDN'T GET TO IT. WHY TAKE BIDS IN APRIL WHEN YOU CANNOT DO THAT WORK DURING THAT SUMMER? ANYWAY, I ENDED UP HIRING A DIFFERENT COMPANY THAT COMPLETED THE WORK ABOUT A MONTH AND HALF AFTER THE BID. IRONICALLY, HE CALLED THE DAY BEFORE THE OTHER PAINTERS ARRIVED. BE VERY FLEXIBLE. I CANNOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HIS WORK, BECAUSE I COULDN'T WAIT ANY LONGER.

Description of Work: KEVIN POWER-WASHED, SCRAPED, SANDED AND PAINTED THE TRIM OF MY STUCCO HOME INCLUDING THE INSIDE PART OF ALL THE WINDOWS, AND MY WOOD GARAGE, WHICH WERE ALL IN PRETTY POOR CONDITION. HE ALSO WHITEWASHED THE STUCCO ON ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE, COVERING PATCHES OF REPAIRED STUCCO, AND MATCHED IT PERFECTLY WITH THE REST OF THE HOUSE. KEVIN DEFINITELY WENT THE 'EXTRA MILE' IN RESEARCHING THE STUCCO PART OF THE JOB, MAKING SURE THAT IT WAS DONE CORRECTLY AND LET ME KNOW IF ANY WOOD TRIM NEEDED REPAIR BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PAINT IT. I WAS THOROUGHLY PLEASED WITH THE ATTENTIVENESS HE EXHIBITS TOWARDS THE WORK HE DOES.
