Right from the beginning, I had the pleasure of working with Shelly who helped me choose the carpet that would best meet my needs. No pressure. No over-selling. She was wonderful to talk with. Even found out another friend of mine had used her twice as well and loved her equally for all that was done. After she came to my house, she helped me decide further, from the samples, what could be the best choice for me. She left me with my sample choices, I moved them everywhere finding different kinds of lighting and finally chose one, went back to the office and put down a little under 1/2 the payment. Took two weeks and then a brother team came and provided me with great looking carpet! They too were extremely pleasant to work with. Very nice guys! Am so glad I went with this carpet place. Excellent experience indeed. :) Amount paid was after $200 coupon from Carpet One.

We were very impressed with the selection of flooring options at Carpet One and so happy with the help that Jennifer gave us. She knew the products and gave us good advice as we made the decision for which flooring product to use for our home. And beyond that, Jennifer turned out to be a huge help as we struggled with choosing colors for our walls and stairway carpet. Her suggestions turned out to be gorgeous - and honestly were wall colors we may never have considered without her help. I recommend Carpet One in Bloomington.

Bloomington Carpet One did a fantastic job for us. When we were at the beginning of the process, Shelly came to the house twice with samples, had some mailed to us, talked with us several times on the phone, and was helpful, informative, professional, and thorough. She gave honest answers to our questions and helped us decide on the best color, quality, and price that was best for us. She also helped with the unique issue we had concerning a theater sofa that could only be moved from one part of the installation area to another, not moved out of the area altogether. The installers Nacho and Israel were completely professional, conscientious, and skilled. They arrived on time, kept us informed of their status on both days of the project, and were very careful with moving the theater sofa and bed frame. Their installation of the carpet is especially nice around our slate fireplace hearth - very firm and clean with no stray fibers as our builder left. They also advised us on the condition of the flooring once the old carpet and pad were removed, and were diligent to resolve one squeaky area outside a door in the entryway. We are very happy with our carpet and all aspects of the project with Bloomington Carpet One.

Read the online reviews of Carpet One and decided to go there and price carpet as we had already priced it at the big box stores. When an outside installer from one of the big box stores did not return our call, we thought we would prefer dealing with one place for removal, disposal of old carpet and install of new carpet. Worked with Jennifer and Erik, and they educated us on carpet as we were concerned about stains with two aging pets. Then the install was done within the week once we decided on which carpet. Two brothers came out and installed during a two day period. They were very nice and polite and I don't think they even stopped for lunch! They cleaned up totally after themselves, and even helped my husband move back some of the furniture. Have already had our first "stain" and it came out easily and completely and I utilized the information on their website for stain removal. We highly recommend Carpet One for their price, selection, service and total removal to install ability.

First of all, the in-store help was terrific. Choices were discussed and explained well. Sales person Lyn was very patient and provided as many take home samples as we needed until we made up our minds. Installation was done soon after and the work was excellent. Installers were efficient and neat...did a great job.

Prices are reasonable, comparable to the big box stores. Jennifer the designer knows her carpeting. There are no upcharges or extra fees for install. Installers were very polite, professional and assisted with moving furniture. They worked very fast. From ordering to install, it took a week.

We stopped at Carpet One based on Angie's reviews and there was Jennifer, the same lady we had purchased carpet from a dozen years earlier at a different company. She is delightful to work with and very knowledgeable, making good suggestions on where to spend and where to save money. She ordered samples which showed up a few days later. After we made color decisions, the guy showed up to measure and was very prompt. When we got the estimate we were surprised that it was several thousand $$ cheaper than a competitor who was quoting the exact same carpet. One of the apparent differences was the computer program used by Carpet One to lay out and make efficient use of the carpet when cutting, splicing, matching patterns, etc. The biggest piece went from a family room, down the hall, into a bedroom, around the corner into a closet, and down the stairs off the hallway to a landing at the bottom. There was lots of cutting and seaming to make it look like one big continuous piece, and I challenge you to find where the seams are. Seams were required where the rooms were wider than the 12' carpet roll width and in the doorway from the hall to the bedroom. When they were done, the largest remaining piece from that was about 18" by 36" long. Wow. The other company was going to order about 350 more square feet of carpet to do the same job. They were supposed to start at 10:30 and when it was past noon, we called Jennifer. She assumed they were already there. She followed up and said they would be there mid-afternoon. They finally showed up about 3pm due to delays at another job. Understandable, but a phone call would have been appreciated. They worked until 8pm that evening. They arrived after 10 the next morning and worked until about 7:30pm that evening to finish the job. The installer's english was difficult to understand, but they worked hard, never stopped for breaks or to eat, were very attentive to every little detail, asked a few questions as to how we wanted a couple of things done, and very polite. They did a beautiful job and I am a perfectionist. I love walking barefoot on my new carpet. Very happy with the process and the result.

We needed a quick removal and installation, and Lyn was great helping us find an in-stock carpet and getting our installation set up in less than a week. Installers were on time and professional and did a terrific job. They took care not to scuff up newly painted walls and cleaned up after they were finished. Family room looks wonderful! Eric at Carpet One came to my home, measured, and partnered with me on the carpet and tile choices and layout both in my home and in the showroom. I felt comfortable with him right away. There was no pressure, and he took time with me over several days to be sure I was aware of all my options and costs before I ever signed a single piece of paper. He helped me stay within my target budget while getting the best value for my money. He patiently answered every question I had and even some I didn't. The carpet is awesome, and the tile we picked harmonizes perfectly with it. Did I mention no pressure? :) Work began on the promised day and time, but we soon found out that a new subfloor needed to be installed. Carpet One got someone out the same afternoon to install and complete the task, not an easy one since they had to work and around my hall closet. Tile installers began the next day, Friday. They couldn't quite finish the work that day so returned Monday along with the carpet installers. I didn't mind the extra time taken because they did a wonderful job and put a lot of care and attention into the work. They went out of their way to get trim work for the floor edges so the final results were perfect! Everyone cleaned up after themselves and they were very careful to keep everything clean and safe while they worked. All the guys who worked here during those 3-4 days were friendly, competent, professional and amazing! Every time I walk into my new tiled foyer, I fall in love with my home all over again. Not only am I 1000% satisfied with the work done, I am also beyond the moon satisfied with the experience. I feel as if I was treated like family - not a feeling you get often in the retail/sales business. I have two more rooms to do, and without question I will be returning to Carpet One and highly recommend their services.

The service turned out fine. The staff did a great job. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about 4-5 hours. They covered about 600-700 sq. ft. They were professional and efficient workers. The only issue I had was with their promptness. I had no problem scheduling the service and they were flexible. ?It did take about 3-4 weeks for them to get the carpet in.

My husband primarily dealt with the technicians. Their service at the store was excellent. They let us take home samples to match the carpet the way we wanted. An inspector came out to look at the carpet and also said they did an excellent job.They even gave us some great ideas and recommendations for the type of carpet we were looking for. They were wonderful to work with and flexible with our schedules.

The installers were wonderful. They were clean, fast, professional and they did a very good job. They were very notch, no doodling, no messing around on the job and they were just very focused on getting it done and they did a very good thorough job with no problem. They were very eager for me to walk through and look at everything and bring anything up that I was concerned job and they cleaned up after themselves which is huge in of themselves because there are a lot of vendors that don't. The finished work is prettier than I thought it would be. I liked the carpet I picked out but it looked even better than I had imagined it would look in the house. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and very experienced. I ended up with a green product which is one thing that I really wanted. It looks like it's just going to hold up extremely and it has a 25 year warranty on it. The price is a little expensive but for the overall quality it was worth it.

After two previous horrendous carpet experiences with other carpet businesses, I was quite concerned on the outcome....but hands down, this is the best carpet experience I've had! From carpet selection in the showroom....where they were informative and helpful but gave you room to make decisions....to the carpet measurement ...which occurred promptly and efficiently...to the carpet layers...who were precise, professional and did a beautiful job...I arrived home to a beautifully laid carpet, freshly vacuumed and they even "left a light on" for me ( i had to leave for work and they locked up for me) .....I am extremely pleased'

When my wife and I were in the store shopping around everything looked and sounded great so we took some samples home to review. That same night we had made our decision. I called the store back and set everything up. The estimator was set to arrive in a couple of days. Unfortunately, on the day of, I had to call and remind the estimator that we had an appointment. This was after waiting an hour past the appt time. However, that was the only down side of things. After the appt miss, the estimator made it right by honoring a great price on a nice carpet and pad. The really great side of the story is that the installers truly kicked butt. Every time I checked in; each one of the 3 installers, were sweating from constantly working so hard. Time will tell, but for right now I must say that they did a great job installing.

It went great from concept to complete installation. The salesperson was very helpful, and the installer was very precise and accurate.

From the word go, everything was wonderful. From selecting the carpet types to setting up an installation date and the install itself, everything went without a hitch. The install work was by far the best part. We are so happy with the finished product. The install team was extremely considerate and very professional.
