Description of Work: We have used Bloomington Carpet One two times - for carpeting in our finished basement and to do a carpet runner on our main stairs/landing. We were very happy with both the quality of the carpet as well as the installation in both cases. The sales people were friendly, knowledgable and easy to work with.

Description of Work: Very helpful, straightforward and honest. All assurances turned out to be accurate. Carpet installation was done by kind people that did the job well and efficiently.

Description of Work: The installation was done in a superior way. There was a lot of speial trim work needed, and it looks fabulous.

Description of Work: Shelly helped me decide on carpet for a bedroom in the basement. I loved her expertise! I will be contacting her to help me do the whole basement real soon. Love it when people enjoy their jobs and want to help you make wise decisions. And, Shelly is very easy to work with!

Description of Work: Eric came and measured for stairway carpeting and said he would email me the quote the next morning if he couldn't get it to me yet that evening. There was no quote the next day at all so I called Eric and he said he wasn't in that day to send me a quote, as he had said he would do, but he'd do it the next day, which he did. | |I scheduled for installation at 9 am Dec. 9. My front door painter was coming at 1 pm and the carpet was supposed to be installed by then. At 9:15 Bloomington Carpet One called and said they'd be there by 1 pm. I told them I was scheduled for 9 am because my painter was scheduled for 1 pm and would be painting the door right by where they would be doing the carpeting, so 1 pm wouldn't work for carpet installation. They said Eric was out of the office that day and things got mixed up but that they could come the next morning at 9 am instead. | | Two workers that did not speak English arrived at 9 am then on the 12th and one asked if part of the old carpeting on the other side of the stair rails was supposed to be replaced too, in broken English but I thought I could understand what he was asking. So I showed him on the paperwork where that area was clearly drawn in the diagram to be replaced and that the paperwork explained what was measured and was to be replaced, but realized he couldn't read English either so just prayed for the best. | |It did take them a long time but the carpet appears to be installed satisfactorly. I was disappointed with Bloomington Carpet One for their communication mix ups and seeming disorganization in communicating with the team that finally showed up to install the carpet, not communicating with them exactly what they were to replace. Also the color when all carpeted is a much more garish color than the other sample I had and I wish I had gone with the other. Eric thought either one would be fine.

Description of Work: I have hired the company to install amber floors and custom made rugs. I have used the company 2 times so far.

Description of Work: I hired the company to make and bind an area rug. The service went great. At first I thought the pricing was high, but then realized the quality was very good. I stopped into their shop for the service. The staff did a fine job and was helpful. I pretty much knew what I was looking for. They had a nice show room. It did take a little while to get the rug from them.

Description of Work: We wanted to add carpet to our stairs. The customer service at Carpet One was top notch. They worked within our budget. In order save money, we bought a remnant. It was a great savings and a better quality of carpet than we thought we could afford. The installation went well and without any problems. After the installation, we received a follow up call to make sure we were happy with how it looked. I would highly recommend Carpet One!

Description of Work: They were excellent. The workers did a very nice job and they did a nice cleanup. I will definitely use them again when I need carpet replaced.

Description of Work: I had two small bedrooms to be recarpted and the kitchen to add new flooring. Other companies came and looked but were not interested. As my schedule allows me little time to do it myself, I needed an outside company. I was met at the door with greetings and a hand shake. Our discussion was quick to the point and friendly. All was settled in a weeks time.

Description of Work: Helped me select the right carpet for my space. Lyn was very knowledgeable and thorough including following up with me right away on a supply issue and offering an alternative to meet my time frame. The installers were very professional, did an excellent job, and cleaned up thoroughly. I'll be going back when I need flooring in the future.

Description of Work: I loved working with Carpet One. Lyn Redding was so honest and upfront about cost, length of time for installation. He responded right away if I called. Work started early 9ish and it took till afternoon. The man that installed it was like an artist I have never seen anything like it! He was amazing and my floor looks beautiful I would use Carpet One again. I think the product is expensive. We did not, go other places because if I was gonna buy an expensive product I wanted it installed right!
