Description of Work: Spoke with owner 2x regarding repairing a crack in my kitchen ceiling. |Both times he told me he'd call me back to schedule and never did. He said it sounded like a small job so he apparently didn't feel it was worth the effort. It would have been nice if he had just said so since I had received a personal reference for him as well as getting the information from Angie's list

Description of Work: Replaced the celing, insulated and applyed a Top Skim Coat finish. They also had to remove the celing wallpaper boarder paper. Moved a celing light fixture box to improve weight support for a light. Clean up was excellent. |We are very satisfied.

Description of Work: Patch the ceiling and walls we had torn down, ceiling scrape, knock down applied over 20x20 area. Patched a 4x2 hole in wall I pulled electrical wire through. They were fair minded, good to work with and good family folks

Description of Work: Garth repaired a water-damaged part of the ceiling and a water-damaged part of the wall under the window. The end result is perfect! He came on two separate days to allow time to dry. He was very personable and professional. The area was just as clean after he left as it was before he arrived. He helped move furniture out of the area. He was very busy, and it was hard to get him to return calls; but when I did get in touch with him, he was very easy to work with. He even suggested a way to reduce the cost, after his bid was accepted and he had begun the work.

Gave us an estimate including Angie's List discount. Planning on using them to finish the project as soon as I finish stripping/painting the radiator. Description of Work: Garth plastered and textured our ceiling that had been water damaged._x000D_|It was a bit difficult to get the initial estimate as Garth lost our paperwork. But he eventually was responsive and did a good job. His clean-up could have been much better but the actual work was well priced and done correctly.

Description of Work: Garth Peel did not have the low bid but he was responsive to my request for a bid and was very thorough in his evaluation of the the repair job. I would recommend him to others.

Description of Work: We have a 1939 Cape Cod that has plaster walls in the old part of the house. Past patches of cracks were not appropriately completed, resulting in smooth looking fixes that did not match the marbled texture of the old plaster. In addition, many of the old cracks had reopened into long cracks, including running across the ceiling. Best Plaster did a great job digging out the cracks and making proper fixes. They also were great about cleaning up and keeping the dust down to the greatest extend possible. A couple of weeks later, Best Plaster returned to put a texture coat over the repair areas and to re-spray the ceilings so that everything matched. A really great job!
