Bernie was courteous, helpful, efficient and skillful. A real find!

Bernie was just great to work with. He replaced a rotting wood post which supports the gate into our yard. He also made some fine tuning adjustments on the gate itself. He cut down a large amount of tree branches that were leaning against our fence and bundled them for us for the city to pick up. I contacted Bernie on a Friday; Got a quote the following Monday and the work was completed Tuesday. I highly recommend Bernie's General Construction.

Bernie is fantastic to work with. He was prompt, reasonably priced, and communicated with me at every step of the process. He did some fence repair for me and installed a new hand railing. It all looks beautiful now and will last for many many years. Will certainly use again and recommend to anyone.

Bernie was great! Returned my call promptly and did the work with his crew the next day! They replaced a rotted post on my privacy fence gate in addition to replacing other damaged boards. I did not expect so much labor would be involved—they dug up and removed a lot of old buried concrete and set the new post very securely—so Bernie’s fee was even more reasonable than I initially thought. Great work ethic, a top-notch job, and almost instant gratification on a project I’d put off for too long!

We hired Bernie to fix our ailing backyard privacy fence. He did top notch work fixing two gates, one of which was almost completely destroyed, and repairing several problem areas along the fence line. He was fast, kind, and easy to work with. We plan to hire him again for a bigger project, but we started with a smaller one just to see how things went.

Bernie was very courteous and knowledgeable. He was always on time. He was actually 10 minutes early the day of the job. He and his administrative assistant Elizabeth always provided me with answers to my questions and necessary information accurately and in a timely manner. Bernie made repairs to the wooden fence in my back yard which had started leaning very badly. Bernie did the work by himself and his workmanship was top notch. The fence is now perfectly straight and strong. I would definitely use Bernie again for any future projects.

After reviewing the possible fence repair, we made a decision to replace the existing fence. Bernie was excellent, accommodating and the new fence is absolute beautiful. I highly recommend them. Thank you and your team!!
