Description of Work: Tony did a great job acting as a general contractor for our basement bathroom project. We got a couple of estimates and while his wasn't the cheapest, the fact that he was willing to coordinate the electrician, the tile guy and the carpenter (not to mention city permits in minneapolis) made him the winner. We had low hanging pipes that others told us couldn't be moved but Tony took care of them, all within his initial quoted price. We even had some totally unrelated plumbing issues come up in a rental property we own and he came over to take a look (without charge.). While the project took somewhat longer than anticipated (mostly due to Home Depot shipping issues), we were very happy with the end result. We still have a hole to be covered and a shower door to be installed, but I expect that the project will get done shortly (I'll keep Angie's List posted) but we were generally very pleased with how well the project came together and the final product. TONY AND PETE AND THEIR CREW ARE EXCELLENT! THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A REMODELER WORKING ON MY HOUSE. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THEY EVEN HELPED US FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAXIMIZE OUR BASEMENT SPACE IN THE BATH AND THE ADJOINING LAUNDRY AREA. WE COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE OR WITH THE PRODUCT. HIRE THIS COMPANY! THE PRICE WAS THOUSANDS LESS THAN OTHER ESTIMATES AND THEIR WORK IS SOLID. THEY AND THEIR SUB-CONTRACTORS WERE ON TIME ALL THREE DAYS, WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, WERE POLITE AND RESPECTFUL, AND HAD FUN WITH THEIR WORK. THE HOUSE WAS REPLUMBED IN DAY ONE (8:30-5:00) AND THE SEWER LINE FOR THE SYSTEM WAS CONNECTED TO THE MAIN SEWER LINE. INSPECTORS CAME TO CHECK THE ROUGH-IN ON DAY TWO, THEN THE SHOWER STALL, SINK, TOILET AND EXHAUST FAN WERE PLACED. ON DAY THREE THE PLUMBING/ELECTRICAL WAS CONNECTED TO THE SYSTEM AND THE INSPECTORS WERE BACK OUT. BOTH KNEW OF TONY AND PETE'S WORK AND WERE IN AND OUT IN NO TIME. I WAS ABLE TO USE THE ROOM THAT EVENING. I'D DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
Description of Work: PRESTO INSTALLED A BASEMENT BATHROOM WHICH INCLUDED; SHOWER, TOILET, SINK, HEATER, EXHAUST FAN, MEDICINE CABINET, OVERHEAD LIGHTS, AND OUTLET. THEY ALSO REPLUMBED THE HOUSE IN MY UNFINISHED BASEMENT, CHANGING OLD IRON PIPES TO COPPER, HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL LINES TO THE MAIN FLOOR KITCHEN AND BATH, AS WELL AS INSTALLING A WATER SOFTENER LOOP, AND THEY REPLACED THE FLOOR DRAIN! THESE MAJOR PROJECTS WERE FINISHED IN 3 DAYS, TWO WEEKS AFTER OUR INITIAL MEETING/ESTIMATE.

QUICKLY RETURNED CALLS AND MET ALL PROMISES. IT REALLY ONLY TOOK 2 DAYS. (I THOUGHT THERE WAS A SEWER SMELL IN THE BASEMENT A FEW MONTHS LATER COMING FROM THE BATHROOM. TONY AND PETER WERE TOP NOTCH. THEY WERE UP FRONT AN HONEST, DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID, WERE VERY CLEAN, AND PERFORMED THEIR WORK LIKE PERFECTIONISTS. EVERYTHING WENT EXACTLY AS THE SAID IT WOULD. THEY COMPLETED A RATHER COMPLEX PROJECT IN TWO AND A HALF DAYS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. THE PRESTO BATH IS A FANTASTIC PRODUCT. IT ONLY TOOK A DAY AND A HALF TO COMPLETE. THE INSTALLERS WERE EXCELLENT WITH ELDERLY MOTHER WHO WAS HOME ALONE WHILE THE WORKED. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE PRESTO UNIT IS TWO INCHES AWAY FROM THE WALL WHICH NOW BLOCKS A WINDOW. THEY CAME OUT AND TRIMMED THE WINDOW SO IT CAN OPEN AGAIN.
