Aspen Garage Doors

We recently purchased a new home with two garage stalls and were looking to get an opener installed on the stall that didn't yet have one. I requested a quote through Angie's List messaging and they responded promptly. They sent a technician out and upon his inspection determined he may not be able to install an opener due to the height of the garage and garage door. I asked him what options we had, considering one of the garage stalls (same height, etc) is functioning with an opener. He told me he was going to reach out to colleagues and get back to me later that afternoon or the following day. He never got back to me. I sent another message through Angie's List a week later and never received a response. I found the lack of response to be very unprofessional. I did reach out to another garage door company who came out and had a solution for us right away. I won't be contacting Aspen Garage Doors for any jobs again.

The work was just completed yesterday so I'm giving it a few days to make sure the noise is gone. Based on the experience of the technician, I'm assuming that all will be just fine. They were right on time and performed the work very quickly. We just had a minor problem, but that was resolved quickly.

I liked that the door is made in Minnesota and Aspen is a local company. Mike was easy to work with and kept in touch. I wanted a little unusual door and it was no problem. He fixed the electronic eye also.

Great. I called at 10 a.m. They came out the same day at 3 p.m. There was one guy, but he was done by 3:20. The garage door goes up and down and we have a five-year warranty -- all for $199. Great work.

I provided a review of this service previously. I can not see how to amend that review, so I am submitting this response. My first review of Aspen garage was less than stellar. After leaving the review, I was contacted by company in response to my negative review. We spoke about my situation and the owner, made things right. By reaching out to me and working to fix the problem, the owner provided to me the proper direction and response to have me amend my first review. Thank you Mindy for reaching out and correcting the situation. For a company to stand behind their business and to make my experience better... I applaud you. My review still reads for the job done. But, I change my review to A, or #9, for reaching out to me to rectify the work done. Kudos to Aspen Garage doors for standing up and doing the right thing.

Bart arrived on time and inspected the system; he then recommended replacing the wheels and bearings after he adjusted the operator and the connecting arms. Did a good cleanup, and promised to get back to us re a door that may function better in the winter; ours freezes to the apron due to the fact we heat the garage.

I booked appointment for a morning that I needed to be at a meeting by 10 AM. I stressed this when I paid the down payment. The day arrived and installers didn't show up on time as promised. Eventually they arrives over an hour late without the new door. I was told that they had planed to do the work that day, completely ignoring our previous agreement. After garage oor was installed I asked if they were going to install the other door that day and I was told they don't do that kind of work and referred my to a third party saying they would contacted them. A month later, after repeat calls asking to complete the work, I am still without the porch door being replaced and my calls aren't being replaced.

The whole process was super efficient. One of the torsion springs broke late on Sunday. I contacted Aspen Garage Doors via Angie's list. They replied within an hour (keep in mind it was Sunday evening). Next morning Mike called and let me know he could come at specific time frame that day which he did. He completed the job in no time and then provided some useful information.

Bart called to give his estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, I described the issues, and he went over the work to be done. He replaced the rollers and lubricated all the necessary points. Very nice and professional.

Aspen was great. Our garage door would not shut properly in low temperatures, and after they came out, we have had no problems.

Great. Works perfectly as promised.

I used an Angies list deal for the springs, so that saved a little bit of money. My adult daughter was home for the visit and they communicated to me through her that something else needed replacing. It was reasonable and not unexpected due to the amount of time having passes since the door was originally installed. They left a sticker with their info, the date they visited and what was done. I find this very useful, as this is not something I keep track of.

they answered their phone promptly, arrived on the time the next day, quickly diagnosed the problem. they were able to obtain the correct part and it was promptly repaired. I highly recommend this company!

Service was done quickly. Nice guy, Happy with the results. Assisted with recommendation for connecting to my Comcast security system.

Dale, our serviceman, came on time, first thing in the morning, and was able to complete the job quickly so that we could leave the house without significant delay that morning.

Young guy comes and sprays Silicon on the rollers. Said that was it! The tune up! No inspection. Nothing. Pointed out it was an older Door/opener. As if I wasn’t aware! Guy was very nice but did nothing.
