Aspen Garage Doors

Mike came and gave it a tuneup ($39) and suggested different rollers (nylon ball bearings) for both sides ($100) to run more smoothly and work less hard. I noticed how easily the door glides now. Gave suggestion for rust on the bottom--recommended maintenance that we could do for the rusting on the bottom of the track near the garage floor. Gave an estimate for another maintenance recommendation (cables and bottom fixtures-rusted) for $195 which we will do in the fall. Very thorough. Great client education. Aspen was very responsive and did a great job installing my garage door opener. The garage has a beam across it and the rail needed to be cut down, they did a great job and the communication was great.

Aspen had to leave and come back twice to get the right part due to the age of the old spring and our lack of information about it. They did so happily and each time returned faster than estimated. Good advice was also given to maintain the garage door until replacement.

It took some serious investigating and a couple of visits, but they never charged me again after the first visit. Including when they came out first thing on New Years Day! They are professional, friendly, polite, responsive and just absolutely wonderful to work with. I am delighted that I stumbled into Aspen and wouldn't consider using anyone else. I honestly don't remember what they charged me but I had priced competitors before scheduling them and they were competitive.

Another great company. They had a coupon on Angie's list for a garage door tune-up. They were able to come out in a few days, their schedule was pretty booked. The service check was prompt and reasonably priced. They gave recommendations on what issues could be coming up in the near future and made recommendations on things we can do as far as maintenance to extend the life of the garage door.

Prompt, professional and quick. Would hire Aspen garage doors again for my garage door repairs or replacement.

Perfect what a great job eveything went in and worked smoothly . They were on time and did a few things to adjust the door for quieter operations. They also helped me get my 2nd car with the opener in the electronics package to work I have had 2 bad situations with garage door companies in the last couple of years. Not any more I will only call Aspen for my garage door work in the future.

We are very happy with our new opener and the service provided. We were warned by Aspen last Fall during a tune-up service call that our opener was on it's last legs. The chain driver gear was wearing out and noisy, and sure enough about 3 months later it completely failed. You could hear the motor running, but it wasn't driving the chain. Given that the unit was at least 21 years old, and perhaps as old as 30 years old, it was time for a replacement. Aspen listened to our plans to potentially upgrade the door with a heavier model and recommended a DC belt drive unit rather than the AC chain drive unit that we had. It was about $100 more, but well worth it. In addition to being more powerful and quieter than an AC chain drive unit, it comes with the ability to control it from a smart phone. Nice feature, and more useful than you might think as you can remotely control the door to let someone in, you can check on open/close status remotely, and it can notify you when the door is open and/or closed.

Mike was very professional, courteous and friendly. He came out to give an estimate, and provided samples. His estimate was close to the estimates of others we had called. Mike was willing to find/order the brand of door which worked best for the color match of our siding without compromising quality. Any time I called the office, my calls were responded to in a timely manner, and appointments were punctual. Once the doors were in, they were installed next day, and the job site was left clean. They explained how the door openers worked and programmed the openers for me. We are loving our super quiet new doors and highly recommend Aspen Garage Doors!

Mike gave me a prompt response, lubed hinges and track and showed me how to replace rollers. I could not be happier. Definitely would use them again for work on my garage door.

I don't recall his name, but he should certainly be recognized for his service & performance at Aspen.

Mindy at the Aspen office took my call. She effectively walked through understanding the issue and telling me how Aspen could help. It was great interaction throughout the entire call. The service was scheduled for 45 minutes after I made the call. Mike arrived as promised, told me what he was and was not going to do (no up-sell at any time), and got the springs replaced very quickly. When he was done, he explained exactly what he did, made some recommendations for maximizing the life of the garage door and opener, told me what I could do and when I should do it, and told me what a service person could do (along with Aspen's price). The whole interaction was perfect.

Mike fixed quickly same day, was very friendly, and helped point out some preventative maintenance to prevent future problems.

They were very nice to work with. I called on Monday and a tech came out the next day and replaced the door opener in about 2 hours.

Imagine below zero temps on a Saturday about 5pm (heading out for the evening) , the garage door opener bracket breaks free from the ceiling and not being able to get the door closed. Big problem right? Not for Aspen Garage Doors! Aspen Garage Doors did a great job and were able to repair the garage door. Aspen was able to fix this and charged me fairly for the repair despite it being an emergency. I was very impressed with the service on the phone, and the service provided by the repairman who was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Given this all happened on a Saturday at 5pm, I was very impressed with their response time. Repairman was fixing my garage door within an hour or so of my call and had the garage door fixed within the hour. Great job Aspen Garage Doors! I will definitely be using you again and will recommend you to others. Thank you!
