Very professional, helpful, lots of good tips, was not pushy at all. We would have hired them except we found a floor we liked better elsewhere and the other company was able to offer a better price due to being a showing dealer for the other brand of floor. Andersen Floor coverings encouraged us to use the other dealer to insure we got the best price, which I think shows a lot of integrity.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from them for installing hard wood floors.

We were referred to them by a friend who is a repeat customer. They have been satisfied with their service and haven't found anyone that beats their prices. We found the same to be true. We received personal attention from Steve, quality carpet, and an upgraded pad for a very competitive price from a local company. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Removed and hauled away old carpet, installed new carpet and pad.

Every step of the process was very easy. The showroom was a very low pressure situation with a very relaxed feel. The installers were prompt and left the house very clean when the job was complete. The only negative was a couple scratches in our freshly painted walls from when they were unfolding the carpet in a couple corners, but they were all behind doors and easy to touch up.
Description of Work: Replaced all of the carpet in our house (4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, some stairs and hallways).

The job went well, the layers were there when they said and the job was done in short time. I can't say anything bad about the deal.
Description of Work: We had ordered carpeting for 2 rooms approximately 10x10 rooms. Carpets quality was above average , price also included carpet pad, and nail strips around room. The bids I had were $1000 to $1200, if your in need of carpeting call Andersen Floor Covering INC

Also, when the installer was finished installing the floor, he was getting ready to leave when I noticed the trim boards were still laying on the floor. I asked if he was going to re-installed those, as I paid for him to do so, and he said that he wasn't planning on it. I asked if they were going to charge less than $1200, and he said no. So I told him to re-install the boards.
Description of Work: We purchased vinyl flooring and had them install the flooring back in 2002. Steve Sward of Andersen Floor Covering, Inc. gave us a estimate for $1200, which included parts, labor, and the removal and re-installation of the trim boards around the room. While the flooring is okay (I thought it would be quite sturdy, but it already has tears), one thing that still bothers us is the glue they left behind. The installer said that the glue he accidentally left on the new vinyl would fade/disappear, it still hasn't to this day (about 5 years later). The flooring we bought was white and very light gray in color; the glue spots are orange, so they really stand out.
