arrived during window of time and had problelm with camera working so they left to get a new one. upon returning did a great job with rest of issues. very pleasant to deal with. cleaned everything up before leaving and i think my ordor problem is gone.

I thought the service went very well and Jonathan did a great job. He was also very pleasant and personable.I guess I really don't have anything bad to say.

Came out promptly (same day), cleared floor drain I had identified as the problem. He then went out of his way to check further and found that the issue was actually another plumbing run that was clogged. If he hadn't done that they would have left and I would still have had a problem, needless to say I am very happy now. He only charged half the amount to clear the first drain so my overall expense was very reasonable for the service I received :)

Jon and Joe arrived on time and did an excellent job. Very pleased with the work they did.

We bought a Big Deal from Jonathan that consisted of sewer cleaning and camera service for $99 because our sewer was backed up. He was able to show up two days later (he said he was pretty stacked up as a result of the Big Deal). He gave us a two-hour window for his arrival, and got to our house with thirty minutes of the beginning of the window. Upon looking at our sewer, Jonathan told us he had good news and bad news. The good news was that he would be able to clean our lines; the bad news was that he could not do so with our set-up. The reason he was unable to perform the service was the way a previous owner of our home had routed the laundry waste line into the main cleanout. He gave us the name and number of a friend who could re-route the waste line for us. We ended up going with another company for the remedial work, but Jonathan said afterward that he would be able to do the work. Unfortunately, he was even more stacked up (because of the Big Deal) and couldn't come out until the following week. We told him that we'd have to talk it over and get back to him. He called back ten minutes later and offered to come by the next evening without charging us for after-hours labor. He said his primary concern was doing a good job for us because we had shown faith by putting up the money for the Big Deal. Of course, we agreed.The next morning, Jonathan called and asked if we were home and if he could come by in thirty minutes. We said yes, and he came by and did the work. After Jonathan had cleaned the sewer, he asked whether we wanted him to run a camera through the line. We asked him if he had hit any snags, and he said no. Based upon that, and upon the fact that he had been so mindful of our urgent need, we told him not to bother.

Excellent, prompt, and courteous service! Even 409'd the three toilets they worked on. Thank you!!

I thought he was very honest for only charging me for the work that he did and not adding other services on to the call that I did not need. He was very accommodating by getting this service call in before I had to leave town. I would highly recommend his services to other members.

John was prompt and professional. He inspected the sewer line and called the city on my behalf. I appreciated his honesty about my not needing the complete service and for following up with me after his visit.

He is a man of integrity. He could have charged me a lot more but told me exactly what the problem was and it was much cheaper. He did an excellent job.

I called em up to schedule the service call, and we scheduled it for later in the week. Later that same day he called me back, let me know he could squeeze me in that evening if we were available. Wanting to get our basement drain cleaned out asap, we jumped on the opportunity. He showed up, was friendly and took care of the problem very quickly...along with giving me some advice on how to keep our plumbing and sewer lines in good working order. He cleaned up afterwards too, which is always appreciated.

Called Roto Rooter first, what a joke. They wanted $415 plus more if I wanted the pipe camera AND they wouldn't guarantee their work. Jonathan was a savior. He came all the way out to Stillwater from Bloomington. He assured me that he wanted to do a quality job with a fair price. He did the entire project (pulled the toilet, cleaned the main sewer line AND ran the pipe camera to ensure everything looked clear and there were no other problems) for $274! He was professional, on time, cleaned up after himself very well, and an overall nice guy who wasn't just trying to make a sale. I'd definitely recommend him.

I called American Sewer Saturday morning when our sewer backed up in the basement. I wanted him to come out immediately to clear it, but he assured me that we could safely wait until Monday morning when the price would be significantly cheaper. He advised us that we could safely flush the toilet occasionally, and even take short showers. He was quite right, and we had no more trouble with backup. Jonathan and his helper arrived early Monday morning, cleared the blockage near the street in less than an hour, and ensured that there was no internal blockage between the basement floor drain and the access port at the front of the house. I was extremely pleased with the service and will certainly call American Sewer again.

I had a backed up drain the lower level. When I contacted Jonathan, he was able to come the very same day and take care of the problem. Jonathan snaked the drain and fixed the problem. He was very thorough and takes great pride in his work. I hope not to have a backed up drain again but if I do, I will call Jonathan.

Things went as promised over the phone. Absolutely no surprises. A big A+!!

He was wonderful! He called ahead of time and was able to come three hours before the scheduled appointment which worked out great for me. He was able to look in the line and save me some money because he found that there was just minimal cleaning involved. I got the work done before I have my bathroom remodeled. I feel confident that when I do the remodel that everything is going to work just fine. He was great!

One of the main pipes leading out of our basement was clogged, causing water to backup out of the shower when running the washing machine. I called Jonathan and he was able to come out the same day, arriving right on time with his estimate. He set to work quickly and within an hour had cleared out the clog and verified that things were draining properly. Very polite and friendly, and offered suggestions to help prevent future clogs.

Our house was definitely needing this job done! He did a great job. He was very timely which was nice. I can't see how this was an easy job and yet he did such a great job.

Jonathon called me back promptly when I left a message. He could not come out on the day I called as he was booked and that was fine by me. He told me he would be out the next day 8am-12pm and give a me a call 1/2 hour in advance. The next day Jonathon called at 8:15 and arrived at 8:45. He worked quickly to clean the line. He pointed out that the trap of the floor drain was also clogged and cleaned that out as well. And then verified that everything was working correctly.

I appreciate Jonathan's efforts to help me determine the condition of my sewer line with his video camera. He also suggested I contact my city for more information regarding my sewer line and a possible exterior cleanout. He kept the time and costs of his service to a minimum which I appreciate.

Jonathan was on time and offered services via an Angie's List coupon so it was very reasonably priced. He explained the whole process & reported the results which were good. A nice person.

They were very punctual and professional.They did an excellent job.

The drain has never drained so well. Jonathan ran the cleaning snake down the drain twice to a length of 50 feet to make sure it was completely clear.

We called them the day after purchasing your big deal on 7/5/2012. We have had a slow basement drain for some time that backs up whenever we do laundry, or run the dishwasher. They asked us detailed questions on the phone so they knew what they were dealing with. We initially made an appointment with them for 7/9 but after we hung up had a conflict so called to reschedule. They said they didn't want us to have to deal with the drain issue longer than we had to and ended up coming that day! Not only were they prompt and quick, but were very fair about the pricing and gave us some ideas to help alleviate this problem in the future. We thought the customer service was excellent and would definately use them again! Thanks American Sewer!
