The service was good overall. They provided a video of the work that they did.

The service was fine overall. The technician explained that if we don’t have any tree roots, there usually isn’t the problem, which was the case.

Everything went well overall. They were nice people and got the job done.

We were happy with the service overall! I was grateful that they didn’t try to tell us that we needed re-construction on the sewer.

I signed up for a special, which included a house to street sewer line inspection which I didn't need. I substituted an additional shower line snaking at no additional cost. I spent $70 more than the face value of the deal because I added a toilet repair that included new components in the toilet. I found the service to be prompt, courteous and flexible and would recommend this vendor. I will use him again.

Overall, the experience was good. The technician was professional, explained everything and showed me the video. He did a nice job!

We had a backed up main sewer line, Oh Crap! Found American Sewer on Angies and went with them because they were available as others were booked. Wanted to use some other companies package for a clean and camera inspection of the line - fully booked. Turns out his price was better - no deal - every day. He protected carpets and was easy to work with. He proficiently did the work and allowed me to get all the information i needed about the condition of my sewer line. My cousin (a plumber) who i consulted for advice before hiring anyone called back was surprised at the value i received for these services. Just perfect! And i am picky.

Employee was on time (and called ahead). Cleaning was fast and seemingly without problem. Only one complaint: the employee should have had trash bags and cleaning supplies to clean up afterwards.

It went very well. He was very professional, and walked me thru the whole process.

Our kitchen sink, disposal and dishwasher drains were frozen and backed up. Jon arrived with a smile, analyzed the symptoms, talked me thru his processes and tests, then had our drains draining in less than an hour! We already have 2 jobs waiting for him in the Spring. :) Thanks again, Jon!

We could make an appointment right away and they came out to do their work. Everything went well but I did not rate the quality of work as I could not see the inside of our sewer line...so hesitated to rate it. It was tree roots and after their cleaning, we had no issues! The big deal price was less than $100 but because it was bad, the work went beyond what they included in the big deal offer so we paid the extra.

Completed the job as requested. Cost was as advertised. Everything went well.

Our plumber was courteous, prompt and helpful at describing what our problem was and also what work he needed to do. We appreciated his help.

Had a clogged drain and it resisted all amatuer attempts, so I checked Angie's list and found American Sewer. I am so glad I called them. It turned out to be a difficult fix, but they persevered, with good humor, and were reasonably priced as well. Couldn't have had better service. Thanks!

On the evening of Sunday, December 23rd my husband and I realized that our floor drain was backing up into our basement with all of our waste water. We weren?t sure what to do or who to call it was 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and the next day was Christmas Eve. We started by calling Ben Franklin plumbing because I had a flyer from them. They were available to come out on the 24th but they could not give us any type of quote/estimate for price and they were not available until late afternoon and gave us four window of time in which they would arrive (which overlapped with our Christmas Eve plans). My husband scheduled with them since he had them on the phone. Once my husband gave me the details on Ben Franklin repair aka: the no idea of price and late afternoon arrival I started second guessing our decision. I then wonder if Angie?s list would have an alternate options (I am new to Angie?s list and don?t always remember to us it as a resource). I logged onto Angie?s and did a search on drain cleaning and found a whole list of options I selected American Sewer because they small business, that was located close to our home in Bloomington and because there were videos of their work. We called Jonathan of American Sewer and left him a message with our request. He called us back within one hour and was able to provide us with an estimate and set time he would be able to perform the service. His estimate (lower price) and time (available at 10:00 a.m.) were much better then what Ben Franklin provided so we canceled with Ben Franklin and schedule with American Sewer. On the day of our drain clean Jonathan called to say he was running ahead of schedule and confirmed with us that we would were available if he arrived 15 minutes early (which we were). He did arrive ahead of schedule and had drain cleaning equipment, his own shoe covers and fabric runner (which he placed on our carpet to ensure he didn?t track anything in or out). It took about an hour and half for him to clean out our main sewer pipe and he pulled up a huge knotted ball of tree roots. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered my many questions :o) If it hadn?t been for him I wouldn?t have even know where to find my homes main sewer access point. He really knew his stuff he was polite, courteous, friendly, tidy, conscience, knowledgeable and economically priced. When the job was done there was not trace that he had been there only the great results of working plumbing! He left a sticker on the pipe that included the date in which he preformed the drain maintenance. This is awesome since we are new owners of this home and had no ideas when this was last done. We now have a record right on the pipe to remind us when it was done. He also provided us with feedback on how often this type of maintenance should be done (which we didn?t know). The sticker will help remind us about this important piece of home maintenance. We couldn?t be happier with our decision to choose American Sewer and Jonathan. He will be our go to plumber for any future drain/sewer maintenance needs!

Joe arrived on time and was very friendly. He cleaned the floor drain in my basement and even tweaked a leaky sink in my bathroom (which wasn't part of the original deal). He gave me good advice regarding things I might want to look at in the future. I'll definitely use American Sewer again.

We waited way too long to take care of our drainage problem in the kitchen sink until it was more or less fully clogged. I found American Sewer on Angie's list and they were willing to come in the same day without taking advantage of the fact that I needed it cleaned immediately and charging more. Joel was very friendly and has not only done the job for the advertised price but also took care of a small leak under the sink without extra charge. I would hire American Sewer any time again and can certainly recommend them.

Appointment was made; they were Prompt and Professional.

Upstairs bathtub and sink were stopped up. American Sewer responded promptly and cleared out the drains.

We called the company, easily scheduled a service time, when the time came they communicated that they were on their way and the job was carried out quickly and efficiently.
