We were grateful that American Sewer could help us on Christmas weekend! The repair went well and we are not having any more problems.

Our clog was concentrated in first 3-5' of the line being cleaned. No other clogs were encountered. Camera review confirmed clear lines post cleaning. Service was professional and informative regarding future recommended maintenance/review schedules. However, what I was most appreciative of was their service after the service. We were missing a needed floor sewer line plug. After numerous local visits and on-line searching, we were unable to locate a suitable plug and called for assistance. After emailing a couple of photos, the owner himself found the exact plug needed and put me in touch with a company where I could get it. Thank you!

Routine cleaning went very well. No problems encountered.

We originally called because our kitchen sink was clogged. I sent them a message on a Friday night and they called me shortly after to set something up Saturday morning. They cleared the kitchen clog, to find that their was a clog in the main. They worked diligently to get everything cleared. They didn't leave until the job got done. I was impressed with their persistence and would highly recommend them.

The tree roots were very muddy and stringy and Dave earned every piney of what it cost. Dave did a very good job of cleaning up.

Don used a powered snake to try to unclog the drain and ended up poking a hole in the metal pipe which caused water to leak through my kitchen ceiling. Not an ideal situation, but probably bound to happen at some point as the metal pipes in my house are very old. Don's manager called me to discuss my options. I told him I wanted to replace the entire pipe with a new PVC pipe, not just patch the hole in the metal pipe. I mentioned that I was planning a whole kitchen remodel and he suggested I get the leak patched for now and then replace the pipe with PVC later during my kitchen remodel. I didn't like the idea of paying for a temporary fix and then paying again later to replace the entire pipe, but this was the option the manager encouraged me to go with. I decided to call a different company to finish this job.

The tech arrived an hour after the arrival window, but the company owner called during the window to let me know the tech was backed up at another site. Seth (the tech) did a very professional job and quickly handled the drain problem and the leaking trap.

I called about 4pm. The base rate is $150. They said they could get someone out that evening but it would be $100 overtime fee. Or early then next morning. We decided to pay the overtime. Donald arrived around 6:30, laid tarps between the front door and the problem. He quickly located the plug. It wasn't between the house and the street. However, we hadn't had that cleared in over 10 years so we had the line cleared out to the street for $100. Donald used his power snake on the backed up drain and cleared the plug some 30' beyond. He was done within 2 hours. He was very professional and friendly.

The plumber was friendly and professional, taking great care to protect my flooring in the process. The line was cleaned extensively and everything took less than an hour.

I called for a quote and then made an appointment. I was scheduled for the next morning between 8-10 am. I thought my grandchild may have flushed something down the toilet. Seth arrived about 9:00 am. He was shown the problem. I had removed the toilet. He suggested a camera to see what was blocking the pipe. It turned out to be just a large paper clog. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Seth was very personable and helpful.

Very well: I bought the package for a sewer cleaning, but the technician explained to me that it would be wiser to first inspect the line with a camera. Turned out my line was fine and didn't need cleaning - in fact, the cleaning could have done some damage to a protruding pipe connection. This didn't save me any money, but I did feel I had done the right thing and now can rest easy that my sewer line is ok.

Seth arrived and did his magic. Years of accumulated "whatever" was cleaned out in three quick passes. Drain works great now. Used $5.00 Angie's coupon.

This was an exceptionally challenging job, there was abandoned piping from a old septic tank that caused American Sewer to redig an area on the lawn by hand. John (owner) and his great crew worked the weekend, into the evening to get the job done. They are very impressive company .

Sewer drain was backing up into basement. They cleaned out the main sewer which was blocked by tree roots and another smaller drain. They were professional, timely, and solved the problem. We will definitely use them again.

Everything went well. He had a special homemade tool for the t-pipe. The work was done fast and he was able to come on the same day, luckily.

Went very well. Got it cleaned out in less than an hour and he answered all our questions about other possible issues we might be having with our drains, including advice on how to do it at less expense.

Called at 8am, plumber arrived before noon and de-clogged in about 30 minutes. He also taught me about my pipes and water (which is apparently really hard, even with a softener) and gave helpful pointers for how to prevent the backup from reoccurring.

They answered the phone and someone came out right away to clear it. The job was completed well, and no further problems have come up with the plumbing since. The area could have been cleaned a little better before they left, but overall very satisfied.

Pretty well, but it clogged again within 2 weeks. They were able to get it cleaned well the second time but we had to pay for 2 visits.

Donald from American sewer was prompt, courteous, friendly, and efficient. He got the drain unclogged quickly (the clog was more than 40' down the pipe!), and he was extremely pleasant to deal with. He made us aware of the costs and risks up front, and kept us aware of what he was doing. I couldn't have been happier with the service!
